The Meadow field was shown briefly in Duelist Kingdom, used by Joey Wheeler for his Warrior monsters. It appeared to power up Warrior-Type monsters.
In early video games the field can be changed to Meadow, by activating "Sogen", which granted the ATK and DEF changing effects of Sogen to the affected area.
