Mexico

Mexico is one of the biggest markets for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. The United States prints and distributes cards in Spanish and English for the country. (Spanish prints can often be made in Belgium and sent to the United States for distribution.) English is the preferred language for most players, while Spanish is considered less desirable, since Spanish cards cannot be sold internationally as easily.

Although geographically part of North America, for the TCG it is assigned under Latin America and the Caribbean. This creates the effect of many players from the United States and Canada attending Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series events held at the country, as the distance is usually not so different from travelling inside the United States. And also makes it so that localized cards for North America reach Mexico easily, but they are not legal unless a print for the region is officially released.
