Misty Tredwell (Duel Generation)

Misty Tredwell is a Duelist Construct of Misty Tredwell from the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's series in the Virtual Dueling System. She is the first opponent that the player is introduced and faced in the beginning of the 5D's Campaign mode Stage Stage 9-1 in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Generation. The player has to defeat her in a Duel in order to unlock the next stage and progress Campaign mode.

AppearanceEdit

As a Duelist Construct, her appearance is based on Misty Tredwell, and the outfit and looks is what she wore when she was under the influence of the Earthbound Immortal in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime series. A Earthbound Immortal is a entity that can revives the person if they have the will to live or the desire for revenge, and once that person is resurrected, they will become a Dark Signer. Each Dark Signers receives a power from the one of the seven Earthbound Immortals that revived them, and they use that newfound power against the Crimson Dragon and the Signers. Misty is a Dark Signer who receives her power from Ccarayhua, and her outfit's color is meant to resemble that entity's color.

EtymologyEdit

Her given name "Misty" might have comes from mist, a weather phenomenon caused by small droplets of water suspended in air, and this is shown on her forehead with the blue gem resembling that phenomenon. Her surname "Tredwell" is a alternate spelling variation of the surname "Treadwell". "Treadwell" is one of the occupational surname that comes from textile workers using the fulling process on clothing. Also, her surname "Tredwell" could be a reference to her fashion model occupation in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime series.

RewardsEdit

There are a total of six rewards that the player can earn and received after defeating the Duel Construct in a Duel. The first two rewards are cards that come from the Duel Construct's Deck and the third reward is a recipe for their Deck. Then the fourth, fifth and sixth rewards repeated the same process of the three earlier rewards, but in a harder difficulty with a different Deck. In addition, the sixth reward will allow the player to have the Duel Construct's avatar and the ability to Duel them anytime between the two difficulty.
