BiographyEdit

Miyuki was a nurse who worked at the hospital that Shizuka Jonouchi was staying at. She was well-liked by Shizuka as well as her brother, Katsuya Jonouchi, who developed a crush on her because of her caring nature.

Miyuki was a frequent target of Dr. Goyu's sexual harassment. After rebuffing his advances many times and telling him off for ignoring his duties to the patients, Dr. Goyu threatens her with retaliation once he becomes the head of the department at the hospital. Jonouchi overhears their confrontation and steps in, drawing the doctor's ire and insults. Miyuki slaps him for his disrespect and leaves, Jonouchi following close behind.

The next day, Dr. Goyu makes good on his threats, fabricating a story of Miyuki shirking her duties and endangering a patient by ignoring his orders. As a result, she is forced to resign from her position in the hospital.

Later, Jonouchi chases Miyuki down and meets her at the train station. With Yugi having dealt with Dr. Goyu, he implores her to return to the hospital. However, Miyuki tells him that she already made up her mind to leave Domino City. She says that she plans to continue practicing medicine on a small island far away, leaving the station with another doctor and asking him to come visit them on his summer vacation.
