Nightshroud (Duel Generation)

Nightshroud is a Duelist Construct of Nightshroud from the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX series in the Virtual Dueling System. He is also the boss that the player have to faced in a 2 out of 3 Match in the GX Campaign mode Stage 7-5 in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Generation. The player has to defeat him in a Duel in order to unlock the next stage and progress Campaign mode.

AppearanceEdit

As a Duelist Construct, his appearance is based on Nightshroud, and the appearance and outfit comes from the time where he undergo his true form in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime series. Since his true body is a skeleton, he doesn't have any known gender characteristics shown on his body, but he is still identified as male due to his voice and how he constantly possesses a male body in the GX anime series.

EtymologyEdit

The name "Nightshroud" is a combination of the term "night" and "shroud". Night is defined as the period in which the sun is below the horizon, or the quality or state of being dark while shroud is a burial cloth that covers or protects some other object.

In the French version, his name was "MASQUE DE LA NUIT" which translates to "Mask of the Night" or "Night Mask". In the Spanish version, his name was "Velo Nocturno" which translates to "Night Veil".

RewardsEdit

There are a total of six rewards that the player can earn and received after defeating the Duel Construct in a Duel. The first two rewards are cards that come from the Duel Construct's Deck and the third reward is a recipe for their Deck. Then the fourth, fifth and sixth rewards repeated the same process of the three earlier rewards, but in a harder difficulty with a different Deck. In addition, the sixth reward will allow the player to have the Duel Construct's avatar and the ability to Duel them anytime between the two difficulty.

As Nightshroud is a boss character, the player had to faced him in 2 out of 3 Match which can takes hour to defeat and receive the rewards.
