Nightshroud's roles in Spirit Caller are similar to his appearances in the first two seasons of the anime. He is the first of the Shadow Riders to challenge the player, and he is dueled a second time much later on, with Atticus trying to become able to willingly use his powers to turn Zane back to his old behavior.
