Shaman Bandit (精霊義賊シャーマンバンデット Shāman Bandetto)[1] is a series of WIND Psychic monsters which debuted in Deck Mod Pack: Fortissimo of the Whirlwinds!! and is used by Rovian Kirishima (and her manga counterpart) in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime and manga.

The series is themed around acoustics, and acts as a counterpart to the Psychic Musician series used by Romin Kassidy in Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS.

The series also has a set of Equip Spell Cards to be used in tandem with their boss monsters, each of them based on terms related to handheld acoustic instruments and handheld melee weapons.

Playing style

The series' play style is primarily based around hand control, manipulating the amount of cards in the players' hands to utilize a range of effects, such as burn, ATK buff, or drawing more cards. While not as pronounced as in its SEVENS counterpart, the Psychic Type's gimmick of utilizing LP is still present in smaller capacity, such as with the monster-retrieving effect of "Bandijo of the Battle Ballad" requiring LP payment.

While the series mostly focused on using WIND Attribute Psychic Type monsters, many cards that support the Psychic Type in general such as "Romanpick" and "Stardom Light" still work well with the Deck. "Progress Potter" is not only a Psychic Type, but also WIND Attribute, which gives it direct interaction with the Deck while also opening up additional draw power in tandem with "Pot of Avarice" as the Legend Card of choice, if so desired. "CAN - Sp:D" also falls on the same boat, having a compatible Type and Attribute combination with the Deck, and can be used as an additional boss monster. "Future Aeromancer" has not only matching Attribute and Type, but also has an effect that supports Equip Spells, making it an excellent additional monster for the Deck.

Cards that move cards around between the hand and the Graveyard, in particular those that empty hands or interact with such hand state such as "Card Devastation" and "Judgment of the Rising Light" are good additions to the Deck due to them directly supporting its play style. Additionally, due to the boss monsters of the Deck all being Level 7, "Ship of Seven Treasures" can be used as a general-purpose draw Spell. "Armaments of Ascension" can also be used to increase the boss monsters' Levels, and thus effective resistance toward most card effects.
