• This card can be searched by "Dark Spirit's Mastery", "Doomdog Octhros", "Chaos Space", "Sky Scourge Cidhels", "Chaos Zone", "Magical Contract Door", "Umbramirage the Elemental Lord", "Sangan", "Witch of the Black Forest", and other generic searchers.

• This card can be recycled with "Recurring Nightmare" and "Dark Eruption".

• Note that since this card gains the original ATK of the Tributed monsters, you can Tribute a Tribute-less Summoned like "Beast King Barbaros" and other similar cards to gain their original ATK values. "Archfiend Emperor, the First Lord of Horror" is another great candidate for tribute since Legendary Maju Garzett is a fiend type.

• You can use this card in a Qliphort-Performapal Trampolynx deck, tributing the "Qliphort" monsters (even if the original ATK is 1800 on the field, the original ATK in the Graveyard is taken for this monster effect) and destroying Spell/Traps and/or returning a monster to the hand.

• This card works in any deck based on Pendulum Summoning, as the tributes will go to the Extra Deck ready to be Pendulum Summoned right after Special Summoning this card. Since Pendulum Summoning is known for being capable of getting multiple big beaters at once ("Xiangke Magician", "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon", "Oafdragon Magician", just to name a few), this means that "Legendary Maju Garzett" finds it's true full potential in Pendulum decks.

• Special summon "Rocket Arrow Express", then Normal summon "Night Express Knight" before tributing them both for the special summon of this card with an ATK power of 8000.
• This card can be used flexibly in a "Hieratic" deck. Combo with Hieratic Dragon of Tefnuit, Eset or Gebeb to summon a level 8 Normal Dragon-Type monsters for an instant Rank 8 monster. You can also swarm monsters using "Hieratic Dragon King of Atum" and "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon" (which is easy to accomplish in Hieratic Decks), then tribute all of them to Summon this card. If any of those Tribute is either "Tefnuit", "Eset", "Su", "Nebthet" or "Gebeb", each one of them will allow you to swarm Dragon type Normal Monsters, which can lead to further Xyz or Synchro Summons if needed.
• This card can easily be Special Summoned in "Darklord" Decks. A combo of a "Darklord Superbia" alongside a "Darklord" monster that can copy the effect of "Darklord Contact" can result in this card having 7500+ ATK. The optimal combo is "Darklord Superbia", "Darklord Tezcatlipoca" and "Darklord Zerato" ' which would give this card a total of 8400 ATK.

Traditional Format

• Use "Magical Scientist" to multiple high ATK Fusion Monsters, then tribute them all for a possible OTK.
  • Alternatively you can use them as Xyz Material, to summon monsters like Number 39: Utopia Beyond or Number 85: Crazy Box.
