Celebrity Duelist Incoming! Blue Angel is an event that occurred in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links. It allows the player to unlock Blue Angel of Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS as a playable character.

Event details[edit]
Challenging Blue Angel[edit]
During this event, the player earns Cheer Supplies by Dueling in Duel World (except at the Gate or against The Vagrant) or Ranked Duels. The first two times the player earns Live Tickets from a Duel per day, they receive 10 bonus Live Tickets.
Blue Angel initially appears with her Level 10 Deck in Duel World (VRAINS). After defeating her, she will start to appear in Duel World (VRAINS); this appearance is time-based. She can also be Dueled against at the Gate once the player has completed Special Episode #1. At first, she will only be able to be challenged at Level 10. To challenge her at higher Levels (up to Level 40), the player needs to defeat her at least once at the highest available Level (e.g. she needs to be defeated at Level 10 before she can be challenged at Level 20).
In order to challenge Blue Angel at a certain Level, the player needs to spend a corresponding amount of Cheer Supplies, which is as follows:

Celebrity Duelist Blue Angel[edit]
After unlocking Special Episode #4, Blue Angel can appear in Duel World (VRAINS) as "Celebrity Duelist Blue Angel". In order to spawn Celebrity Duelist Blue Angel, the player must fill a duel meter by Dueling in Duel World or in Ranked Duels, as detailed in the table below. If Blue Angel is already present in Duel World when the meter is full, she will be replaced by Celebrity Duelist Blue Angel and reappears after that character is Dueled.Initially, Celebrity Duelist Blue Angel can only be challenged at Lvl. 20. Celebrity Duelist Blue Angel Lvl. 40 can be challenged after Special Episode #4 is completed.

In duels against Celebrity Duelist Blue Angel and/or using Blue Angel, you will obtain Cheer Points as follows:

- Cheer Score will be shared between you and your opponent.
- Cheer Score will be increased at the beginning of the Duel based on the level of Celebrity Duelist Blue Angel.[Notes 1]
- You can accumulate up to 100 Cheer Score in a duel.
Special Episodes[edit]
Special Episodes are made available throughout the course of the event. Once a Special Episode is available, the player can unlock it by fulfilling its unlock condition. With the exception of the first Special Episode, each Special Episode is unlocked by collecting a sufficient number of Event Points and completing the previous Special Episode.

Duel Rewards[edit]
When Dueling against Blue Angel Level 40 or higher, these are the only cards that can drop; at lower levels, cards from the standard pool for Legendary Duelists may also drop. Dueling Celebrity Duelist Blue Angel or Competitive Playmaker at any level will also drop cards from this pool.

Card Trader EX[edit]
The Card Trader EX appears during this event and remains open until one week after its conclusion. The player can trade their EX Jewels for cards, Booster Items, Gold, and Skill Chips. Each card and Booster Item can only be obtained once from the Card Trader EX during this event, but the Gold can be obtained any number of times.
