  • This card's Japanese name (and, by loose approximation, its English name) is a reference to John Milton's epic poem, Paradise Lost, which recounted the Fall of Man from the Garden of Eden.
    • This card's artwork features a dark wasteland, a dead tree, and a single apple on the ground. This further references the Fall of Man in Paradise Lost in whih Adam and Eve eat the forbidden fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil (which is traditionally depicted as an apple), and they are banished from the Garden of Eden and forced to live the rest of their mortal lives in the barren world outside of Paradise.
