"Yudias vs. Zuwijo" is the forty-ninth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime. It aired in Japan on March 12, 2023.

Zuwijo has captured the Velgearian Supreme Council and declared that he will use Rush Duels in the war! Yudias, who has come to Yuhi's rescue, objects to Zuwjio's declaration. In order to figure out what the correct path is, Yudias challenges Zuwijo to a Duel!

Summary

As Zuwijo and Muda stand over the frozen bodies of the Council, Yuhi growls Zuwijo's name and Yuamu asks what they should do now. Yuhi tackles the television camera and tries to object "Veeg vil bal du times eight million" but Dinois smugly claims the broadcast has already ended. Yuhi insists they won't let them use Rush Dueling as a tool of war and Yuamu agrees that it's wrong, Damamu popping up to interject as well. But when Yuhi gives Damamu the floor, the Earthdamar cheerfully asks Zuwijo to allow them to try using Rush Duels to fight as well, much to the twins' dismay. Damamu claims it looks super fun, but as Yuamu tries to talk them down, Zuwijo dismisses their resistance as powerless Earthlings and holds up his hand, glowing with a blue light. Yuamu and Yuhi recognize it as the light emitted by the Great King of Terror's boring manga and Zuwijo points out that he warned them, ordering them to stay out of his way and be quiet as the page appears in his hand. The twins gasp as Damamu voices their desire to fight again and hovers beside Zuwijo, and Zuwijo confirms that to be the reason he brought them here. Damamu cheers and Zuwijo smirks at the twins, but as Muda and Dinois smile as well, an alarm sounds from a device in Muda's pocket, and upon Dinois' inquiry he gasps that something is rapidly approaching. Zuwijo looks up and gasps as Yudias' voice declares they have done well so far, and he crashes through the ceiling on Valvelgear in his Galaxy Form, apologizing for keeping them waiting as they gasp his name. Yudias tells Zuwijo that's enough as Damamu cheerfully calls his name and Zuwijo murmurs it quietly as well.

Yuamu cheers that Yudias made it, and as Yudias agrees that he did, Yuhi jumps off the hovering camera, declaring he always knew Yudias would, but switching it back on by accident. Yudias' image appears across the city, the other Velgearians recognizing him as the captain of the 1st Assault Team who took a battalion to a distant star. Yudias accuses Zuwijo of spreading Rush Dueling throughout the Velgear Star Cluster so he could use the Earthdamar to manifest them into reality and annihilate their enemies. Zuwijo confirms he did and asks what Yudias plans to do about it, much to Yudias' shock, as Damamu floats up to Yudias and cheers that it will be so much fun. Yudias is confused as to who Damamu is and shocked when Yuhi and Yuamu casually explain they are the Earthdamar, while the other Velgearians are confused as to why Yudias is opposing Zuwijo when they were in the same unit. Aboard Valvelgear, Yuna and Asaka are shocked to learn Damamu is the Earthdamar, while Tell is excited by its further evolution. Zuwijo's image appears on the Velgearians' holoscreens and one of the soldiers excitedly declares that they'll be able to end the war in one fell swoop if they follow Zuwijo, though another suggests Yudias may have something different in mind, and though they hold Zuwijo in high regard as a hero, the soldiers recognize the regard Yudias is held in and decide to listen to what he has to say. Yudias, Yuhi, Yuamu, Damamu, Zuwijo, Muda and Dinois adjourn to a nearby balcony and Zuwijo asks Yudias what his grand plan is, mockingly telling the shocked Yudias that he probably still hasn't figured out how to end the war differently with Rush Dueling. He poses the question to him again, and Yudias takes his time to answer as everyone else holds their breath in anticipation.

Yudias yells Valvelgear's name, and the little ship flies into the Velgearian atmosphere and grows to full size, the Velgearians aboard and below chanting Yudias' name. Zuwijo chuckles, asking if putting Valvelgear in offense is Yudias' answer, and the Velgearians below wonder if Yudias will fight Zuwijo on his battleship. Yudias turns to the shocked twins and suggests they be off, and the twins eagerly agree, but Damamu hovers in between them and cheerfully tells them no, generating an energy bubble that encloses the twins and stating they're with them. Yudias gasps and reaches out for the twins, but they reassure Yudias they'll be fine, Yuamu telling Yudias to do what he has to. Yudias says their names and Yuhi tells him to go, Yudias eventually giving a "UTS!" of affirmation. He activates his Gavil Charger and flies up to Valvelgear, while Muda and Dinois protest to Zuwijo that it's dangerous to remain here, though Zuwijo merely smiles.

Returning to the bridge of Valvelgear, Yudias asks how Mutsuba Town is, and Tell reassures him they anchored it in a safe area (an asteroid field). Asaka asks Yudias what he'll do, and Yudias declares they'll proceed exactly as planned. Yuna and Asaka exchange nods, and Yudias orders Valvelgear to begin trans-velgear-mation. The Velgearians below decks rush to carry out the trans-velgear-mation Yudias Special, moving plugs and components into place as Valvelgear's head sinks into its body, and the entire ship outputs panels and a new bridge until it resembles a titanic duplicate of Yudias' Duel Disk. Damamu and the twins are amazed and Tell recognizes the shape, Asaka confirming it to be Yudias' Duel Disk. The Velgearians cheer Yudias' name and Yudias nods, but then an alarm sounds as they spot Zaidavelgear heading towards them. Aboard, Dinois is shocked to see Yudias' ship in the form of a Duel Disk, and Muda asks what Yudias is planning. Zuwijo smirks, noting that Yudias has ensured everyone in Velgear will watch their Duel, which is fine with him. He declares his own trans-velgear-mation, transforming Zaidavelgear into an oversized duplicate of his own gold and black Duel Disk, the crew of Valvelgear watching as the shocked Velgearians observe what has happened and wonder if they are going to Rush Duel like that. The two ships leave the Velgearian atmosphere and face off, Yudias raising his Duel Disk aboard Valvelgear and declaring the right Velgeard will be shown in this Duel. Zuwijo raises his own Duel Disk aboard Zaidavelgear, declaring he will make Yudias understand there is only one right answer.

But then Damamu tells them to wait for them, having commandeered their own Velgearian ship and transformed it into an oversized Duel Disk as Tell realizes what they've done. With Yuhi and Yuamu beside them, Damamu suggests they get started and Asaka wonders if they can handle a two-on-one Rush Duel, though Yuna dismisses Damamu as a brat. Tell notes they're at a significant disadvantage, though Yudias states that he can't give up here. Then they hear a voice commenting that it's freezing, and The☆Lugh's spaceship exists a wormhole beside Valvelgear, Yuna recognizing it as the ice surrounding it shatters and it transforms into an oversized Duel Disk itself. That Guy appears on a holoscreen and holds up his Duel Disk, telling Yudias to leave them to him. Yuna gasps and Yudias thanks That Guy, while That Guy asks The☆Lugh if he minds. The☆Lugh comments that he lost rock-paper-scissors, so he has no choice, but then Yuna shoves Yudias out of the way, infuriated that she's been looking for the engineer for so long and this is where he's been. The Lugh is intrigued and That Guy laughs and apologizes as Yuna holds her hand over her mouth, her eyes brimming as Asaka smiles. The Velgearians on Velgear realize this will be a two-on-two Rush Duel, and Damamu straps on their Duel Disk, cheering that they should start, Zuwijo donning his own Disk. That Guy calls "Let's go!" as he and Yudias hold up their Duel Disks, and Yudias and Zuwijo declare their names before all four Duelists insert their Decks into their Duel Disks with a cry of "Go Rush!!" to deploy the blades.

As the holographic spheres appear around the battleships, Yudias declares his turn and Velgear draw, his hand containing "Equilateral Delta Block", "Breaking Radiation", "Galactica Spark", "Cosmo Titan" and "Lead Nova". He activates the Spell Card "Lead Nova", causing a massive hologram of the card to appear above Valvelgear, and explains that he can Special Summon a Galaxy Type monster from his hand in Defense Position. As he holds up his "Cosmo Titan" card, a rectangular ship is loaded aboard a launch catapult, and the Velgearian officers below confirm to Yudias they are ready to launch.

Yudias thinks back to several hours ago when he proposed the Battleship Rush Duel to Asaka, Tell and Badlove, noting direct conflict with Zuwijo would be unavoidable and that he wanted everyone in the Velgear Star Cluster to witness their Duel. Tell agreed it would draw attention, but the difference in energy requirements between Valvelgear and a Duel Disk was too great and they would have no time to offset it. Yudias suggested using the Gavil Chargers, and Tell recalled their all-purpose use, finding the notion of using Gavil Chargers to offset the energy difference to be a spiritedly wet idea. However, Asaka and Tell had warned Yudias each monster would need a pilot, something Tell warned would likely be dry and dangerous.

As Yudias stares at the "Cosmo Titan" card, Yuna contacts him from the cockpit of the rectangular ship and asks him what he's waiting for, telling him to do his usual thing. Yudias whispers her name and hesitates and one of the Velgearian launch personal admits to Yuna that they should be the ones piloting. But Yuna reminds them that while this isn't the same, she has more Dueling experience than they do and it was Zuwijo's fault that Rovian is lost in space, so she will beat him with her own hands. Yudias nods and tells Yuna he understands and that he will rely on her, Special Summoning "Cosmo Titan". Yuna Goha declares herself as "Cosmo Titan" and the image of the card appears atop the ship, before she launches through a tunnel and out the bay on the ship's Monster Zone, projecting a hologram of the "Cosmo Titan" card and then the massive hologram of "Cosmo Titan" itself. The Velgearians watching the Duel are impressed, comparing the ship to a Gavil Fighter and wondering if Yuna merged with the monster, noting that this is a Battleship Rush Duel.

Damamu thinks it's fun too and wants a go, so That Guy tells them he's ready when they are. Damamu declares their turn and draws, their hand containing "Tribute Lock", "Attack Dama-G", "Tamarolling" and two "Tamabots", and Summoning a "Tamabot", which is likewise represented by a Velgearian ship launching from Damamu's battleship and projecting the monster. Damamu cheers, and aboard Zaidavelgear Dinois admits it's an interesting concept, while Zuwijo smiles. Yuna tells Yudias to attack, despite his protests that it's the first turn, and Yudias hesitantly sends her to the Graveyard to activate the Spell Card "Galactica Spark". Yuna is indignant at only being used as a cost as she returns to Valvelgear via the "graveyard", and Yudias explains that he can send the top three cards of his Deck to the Graveyard - "Magical Sheep Girl Meeeg-chan", "Elite Secret Investigator Miss Tery" and "Cat Claw Girl" adding that if he sent monsters to the Graveyard with the same Levels as the "Cosmo Titan" he sent to the Graveyard, then he can Special Summon them. As he does so, Chupataro, Nyandestar in her human form and Mitsuko enter more card fighters, though the three-meter Mitsuko has some trouble fitting inside, and Yudias tells them he's leaving this to them: Chupataro declaring he's ready, Mitsuko declaring she's ready to Mitsu-go, and Nyandestar confirming all green. Yudias Summons the monsters as they launch: "Elite Secret Investigator Miss Tery", "Magical Sheep Girl Meeeg-chan" and "Cat Claw Girl", all of whom are announced by their users and materialized from their card fighters. Yudias then Sets two cards and ends his turn, Zuwijo huffing to himself.

In the other Duel, That Guy has two "Straynge Cats" and a single "Furtunate Cat" out and declares that he's coming, asking everyone if they're ready. Manabu asks to be allowed to repay his debt from when they rescued them from space, and Rovian strums her Duel Guitar, singing that she is ready to g-g-go, go-go-go, while The☆Lugh states that it's cool. That Guy Tributes his three monsters, all treated as two Tributes, much to Damamu's excitement, and That Guy holds up three cards, declaring he's counting on them and performing a triple Tribute Summon. Manabu, Rovian and The☆Lugh pilot their fighters out, Summoning "Chemicalize Salamander", "Bandijo of the Battle Ballad" and "The Dragias". Dinois and Muda are shocked to realize it's Manabu and Rovian, and Nyandestar and Yuhi are overjoyed to see Manabu, while Yuamu gasps that Rovian is there too, much to Yuna's adoration. Yudias is pleased to learn they're all right and That Guy smiles. Chupataro warns Zuwijo that he's here to chupa him for all the times he chupa'd his cabra heart, while Nyandestar declares it was Zuwijo's underling's fault Manabu had been lost in space and Mitsuko snarls that she'll have him cross the River Styx thrice.

Dinois laughs and asks what "that woman" is even saying, and Zuwijo declares his turn and draws. His hand containing "Void Reactive Nova", "Voidvelgr Chrysaor", "Voidvelgr Peltast", "Voidvelgr Globule" and "Dark Hole", He activates the Spell Card "Dark Hole", destroying all monsters on the field, much to the shock of Chupataro, Mitsuko and Nyandestar, the latter noting Zuwijo was able to destroy three monsters with a single Spell. Yudias calls out to his friends, but Tell tells him to remain calm, cautioning him that the battle has barely begun and grimly noting that as he suspected, the use of the Gavil Charger as an energy converter is causing the monster's destruction to be felt by its pilot. Electricity shocks Chupataro, Nyandestar and Mitsuko as their monsters are pulled into "Dark Hole", and they return to Valvelgear's "Graveyard" as Dinois and Muda praise Zuwijo's move, but then Yudias activates a Trap Card, "Breaking Radiation", sending cards from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard equal to the number of monsters that were just destroyed by a card effect ("Black Luster Soljersey" "Masked Noodle Broth Tsuke Mendius" and "Dian Keto the Cure Maiden"). Manya is disappointed she didn't even get a turn, while Menjaburo laments that the noodles will grow soggy, but George Jersey flies over and tells them not to complain, noting this is the necessary cost for this battle as Jouge Jersey and Ofuruno Jersey fly beside him...but then Yuna jumps onto him and grabs him in a headlock, asking who cares about that and ordering Yudias to hurry up and Summon her again. Yudias explains that for each monster sent to the Graveyard he can Special Summon a destroyed monster in Attack Position. Chupataro, Mitsuko and Nyandestar launch again to rematerialize their monsters, the dazed Chupataro noting that's Yudias for them, Mitsuko noting he wasn't fazed by a thrice-powered card and Nyandestar warning Zuwijo to prepare himself.

Yudias asks Zuwijo how that was, but Zuwijo laughs and tells him not to celebrate so early, much to Yudias' shock. Zuwijo Summons two monsters, "Voidvelgr Peltast" and Voidvelgr Globule", represented by two of his own card fighters, and then immediately Tributes them to Tribute Summon, much to Tell and Asaka's alarm. Zuwijo chants "From the expanse of empty sky, I call forth an eldritch monstrosity baring the blade of twilight! Voidvelgr Chrysaor!" The multi-armed monstrosity appears with 2500 ATK and as Yudias gasps "This is...!" Zuwijo activates the effect of "Chrysaor", sending the top three cards of his Deck to the Graveyard to allow "Chrysaor" to attack equal to the number of DARK Attribute Galaxy Type monsters he sends to the Graveyard, and he sends three: "Voidvelgr Pale Rider", "Burstray Gunman" and "Parashroom Colony". Asaka, Tell and Yudias are shocked, but Zuwijo isn't finished, as since all the monsters he sent to the Graveyard were the same Level - and they were all Level 4 - he can also destroy all monsters Yudias controls. Yudias gasps in shock as Zuwijo declares the "Glow in the Dark" effect of "Chrysaor", red eyes lightning up in its core and blasting a twister of dark energy that destroys "Miss Tery", "Meeeg-chan" and "Cat Claw Girl" again, Mitsuko, Chupataro and Nyandestar waiting nervously before the pain hits them and their ships are blasted away, Chupataro yelping that they're blasting off again. Yudias calls their names in horror as Zuwijo laughs at him.

Turn 1: Yudias
Yudias' hand contains "Equilateral Delta Block", "Breaking Radiation", "Galactica Spark", "Cosmo Titan" and "Lead Nova". Yudias activates the Spell Card "Lead Nova", Special Summoning a Galaxy Type monster from his hand in face-up Defense Position. He Special Summons "Cosmo Titan" (2300/1800) in Defense Position. Zuwijo's hand contains "Void Reactive Nova", "Voidvelgr Chrysaor", "Voidvelgr Peltast", "Voidvelgr Globule" and "Dark Hole". Zuwijo activates the Spell Card "Dark Hole", destroying all monsters on the field. "Meeeg-chan", "Miss Tery", and "Cat Claw Girl" are all destroyed. As two or more monsters Yudias controlled were destroyed at the same time by his opponent's card effect, he activates his Set Trap Card "Breaking Radiation", sending cards from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard equal to the number of destroyed monsters, then he can Special Summon monsters that were destroyed equal to the number of monsters he sends to the Graveyard with this effect. He sends "Black Luster Soljersey" "Masked Noodle Broth Tsuke Mendius" and "Dian Keto the Cure Maiden" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard and Special Summons "Miss Tery" (2300/1000), "Meeeg-chan" (2500/1600) and "Cat Claw Girl" (2200/200) from his Graveyard, all in face-up Attack Position. Zuwijo Normal Summons "Voidvelgr Peltast" (0/1500) and "Voidvelgr Globule" (0/1300). Zuwijo Tributes "Peltast" and "Globule" to Tribute Summon "Voidvelgr Chrysaor" (2500/2000). As Yudias controls two or more monsters, Zuwijo sends three cards from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard to activate the effect of "Chrysaor", allowing it to attack this turn up to the number of DARK Attribute Galaxy Type monsters he sends to the Graveyard, then if he sends three monsters with the same Level he can also destroy all face-up Level 8 or lower monsters Yudias controls. He sends the Level 4 DARK Attribute Galaxy Type "Voidvelgr Pale Rider", "Burstray Gunman" and "Parashroom Colony" to the Graveyard, so "Chrysaor" can attack three times this turn and the Level 7 "Miss Tery", "Meeeg-chan" and "Cat Claw Girl" are all destroyed.
