Tendo is one of the player's rivals, expressing an interest in Psychic-Type monsters and using many onomatopoeias and sound effects in his speech. He is first dueled during the Legend Challenge's 2nd Stage, which unlocks him as an opponent.

Tendo is dueled against as the second opponent of the Legend Challenge's 5th Stage.
