Tag Duel Tournament XIII is an event that occurred in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links. It is a reworked version of the previous Tag Duel Tournament.

Contents

Event FlowEdit

The event is divided in four Cups: ARC-V Cup, DSOD Cup, ZEXAL Cup, and Special Cup. The ZEXAL Cup was made available on October 30, 2021, and the Special Cup was added on October 31, 2021. Each cup must be cleared before moving to the next, and completed cups can be replayed at any time. For the first three cups, only partners from its respective Duel World can be picked.

Starting on November 1, 2021, a challenger may appear in the current cup after any Tag Duel Tournament Duel (except a Duel with the challenger). In this event, the challenger is Supreme King Jaden.

During this event, the player earns Friendship Letters by Dueling in Duel World (except at the Gate or against The Vagrant) or Ranked Duels. These can be used to challenge opponents in the tournament. Players also received a bonus of 15 Friendship Letters daily by entering the Tag Duel Tournament area; starting November 2, 2021, this bonus is increased to 30 Friendship Letters per day.

At the end of each Duel, the player earns 1 Tag Coin for each 100 Assessment Points (for a maximum of 80 Tag Coins). A multiplier is applied after the 80 coin cap, depending on the difficulty of the Tournament. Defeating the challenger earns the player extra Lottery Coins in addition to the Lottery Coins earned from the Duel Assessment: 150 for Normal, 250 for Hard, and 500 for Very Hard.
