BiographyEdit

After her grandson Theodore was rescued from the Lost Incident, she visited him in the hospital with her husband. They were hesitant to answer when Theodore asked where his parents (Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton) were. After he recovered, the couple took Theodore to their home, informing him that he'd be staying there from now on. They tearfully revealed that during the Lost Incident, Theodore's parents had relentlessly searched for him, but were in a car crash that resulted in their deaths (in the dub, they had disappeared while looking for Theodore).[1]

Theodore came home one day after skipping school again, and his grandmother told him that his grandfather had ordered him to the dojo. Later, they discussed Theodore's inability to get over his past. Over dinner, his grandfather noting that Theodore had passed on an opportunity to throw him in the dojo, and Theodore's grandmother stated that it was because he was nice. The next night, one of Theodore's classmates, Hana, came to their house and asked to speak with Theodore. Theodore's grandmother heard him speaking with someone in his room, but found no-one when she knocked on her grandson's door and told him Hana was there.[2]
