Card from Hand: swapped with TOP Deck card, or ANY Deck card?[edit]

Answer: TOP card.

  • In Episode 188 after Joey plays his "Scapegoat" card, Solomon Muto activates "Ancient Tome". He is then shown to take the top card of his Deck to replace it with the one he was holding in his Hand (i.e. "Sinister Serpent").
  • Later on before Joey re-Summons his "Goblin Attack Force", he is shown to ponder about his next move.
    • In the Japanese version of the anime, a scene showing Joey grinning and thinking "[Solomon's] next card must be "Sinister Serpent" (called 'Killer Snake' in Japanese) confirms that indeed the card he put on the top of his Deck the previous turn (thanks to "Ancient Tome") was the card he had in his hand. In the English dub, this scene is deleted.
