→Not Based on Final Fantasy
I just really think this is stretching it. Aside from Purgatrio and maybe Raidjin's electrified sword and Caliga's green hair, I see no real Final Fantasy design influences here. As archetypes like Kozmo and Super Quant and SPYRAL show, when Yugioh wants to reference something else, they'll be blatant in it.
