Member's Name Etymology

Could Luciano, Plácido and José be references to opera tenors Luciano Pavarotti, Plácido Domingo and José Carreras, who have coincidentally all performed together as part of the Three Tenors, or is it just some random conincidence? --90.200.52.29 07:10, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Seems to a reference to the singers alright. It should be mentioned in the article. -- Deltaneos (talk) 13:03, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Group's Leader & Name

According to episode 77. Jose seems to be the leader of that group, not Placido. --Blackwings0605 14:52, September 23, 2009 (UTC)

Organization III?

These guys seem like the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's answer to Organization XIII from the Kingdom Hearts series. Mostly because of the robes, and the fact that each of them has their own throne. QuartrGuy 22:16, December 15, 2009 (UTC)

Pagename

Is there an official or more generic name we can give this page? As far as I know "Infinity Trio" is just a fan name invented by the user who started the article. -- Deltaneos (talk) 04:14, March 25, 2010 (UTC)

As far as I know, there isn't any official sources that confirmed the name of new antagonists group. However, I think the "Infinity Trio" is the most suitable name from what we has known about them. Maybe we will get the official information about the group name, after their goal's revealed (the mystery incompleted circuit is finished?)--Blackwings0605 14:18, March 25, 2010 (UTC)

i doubt we'd get a "name" for this group anyways. :P my guess is they are an elite team sent by the higherups of Yliaster to take care of any of their important tasks. and i didn't make up the name, to give credit i've heard it 'round teh net... but i've also seen the name "Tenor Trio" to come up alot more but from an in-universe perspective tha wouldn't make much sense would it?--RexGodwin 12:31, April 8, 2010 (UTC)

If it makes ya feel better, future (albeit unconfirmed) titles mention thev "Three Emperors of Yliaster" in a later title, which would be a fitting name for them ;p. but we'd be better off waiting for confirmation.--68.228.222.103 06:01, May 5, 2010 (UTC)

true identity

well not really just guessing

have any1 notice that almost everything related to them is about machine:

1- their ace monsters are all machine type

2- the army of ghost that guy placido is making are machines

and i cant remember what else

so could their tru identity be that they themselfs are machines. i mean dont u remember that lucciano kid once said that " he is not that type of person to feel pain "

does any of this make sense ?

Robots?

From what just happened in Episode 107, does anyone think that they are robots? I mean... Placido like just merged with his D-Wheel. --ClubPenguinMaster 21:42, April 28, 2010 (UTC)5D's!

Whatever they are, they aren't human (see the subs of 106 for numerous examples) but it's still unknown whether or not they're biological or technological nonhumans. --Blackstone Dresden 04:50, April 29, 2010 (UTC)

Lucciano

In which episode does it show that Lucciano's skates open up to reveal no feet, only wheels? I don't recall seeing his feet open up. --Saiou (talk) 07:01, October 24, 2010 (UTC)

  • Episode 77 might be the the best answer. If you watch closing when he jumps onto his Duel Board, his skates open slightly when he combines with it. I know it happened pretty fast; but after watching and pausing it countless times, it looks like he merged with it. Like I said it might be the best answer. I could be wrong though. I hope this helps answer your question. If not, let's just wait and see what the future episodes hold for us. --68.105.214.183 (talk) 22:37, October 25, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, buddy! I just watched the episode and Lucciano really doesn't have any feet :) This should prove that Lucciano is a machine like the rest of the emperors, and that he also merges with his vehicle like Placido and Jose. I just hope that Lucciano and Placido have a chance to duel Team 5d's again, this time a proper and not suicidal duel. --Saiou (talk) 13:29, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

  • Anytime. Glad I could help you with that. ^_^ I was kinda curious myself after seeing Placido and Jose merged with their D-Wheels, it made me think for Lucciano's duel with the Twins, so I felt liked watching it and I noticed how he combined with his Duel Board. I was thinking, there is Lucciano's secret to combining to his Duel Board like the others merging with their D-Wheels. --68.105.214.183 (talk) 20:40, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Shode we not have some pics of Jacob and Lester uncloked like primo???

Three Pure Nobles

What in the world are Three Pure Nobles? I´ve seen episode 110 dubbed and they´re called the emperors of Yiliaster like the japanese version.

My guess is the dub used "Three Pure Nobles" once and someone moved the article. That, or someone moved it as vandalism, and everyone assumed it was true because it does sound a name 4Kids would use. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 16:14, June 20, 2011 (UTC)

Actually, Primo called themselves Three Pure Nobles twice between episode 106-109, but the Jakob introduced themselves as the Three Emperors of Yliaster. 86.15.144.198 (talk) 06:54, August 13, 2011 (UTC)

Name

Like the person in the section above said, if Jose called them by their canon names in the dub, then the page should stick with the original name and have a brief mention of the other name.

Going by Jose being the calm and collected Leader of the group we should treat their official name as such stated by him in BOTH versions.--RexGodwin (talkcontribs) 03:02, March 7, 2015 (UTC)

I'll take the time to verify these claims then. In the meantime, please hold off on the rename. (I was rude because I'm accustomed to you edit-warring with other users over images, with you rarely offering explanations for your images. When making page moves, giving a reason/citation is a must, or at least immediately offering proof in some form after the move.) --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 03:08, March 7, 2015 (UTC)

If I may...I believe that Jakob called them the Three Emperors of Yliaster in episode 110 in the dub.Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 03:13, March 7, 2015 (UTC)

Feel free to look it up then. I'm going to take the time to take upload pics from episodes 106-109 as well, so it may take a while. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 03:19, March 7, 2015 (UTC)

Yeah that's the episode Jose first officially called them by their name, so that's most likely where the original name would be mentioned in the dub.--RexGodwin (talkcontribs) 03:27, March 7, 2015 (UTC)

Ok, I looked through the episodes. Given that I was kinda focusing on screencapping dub card images, it is possible that I missed them being referred to as "pure nobles" in the dub. However, they did definitely introduce themselves as "Emperors of Yliaster" in ep 110. Later on at the end of the episode, Crow calls them "three so-called Emperors of Yliaster" (three may be capitalized). So, it's leaning towards "Emperors of Yliaster", rather than "Three Emperors of Yliaster", going on this alone. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 18:47, March 14, 2015 (UTC)
