Differences from {{DM1 card}}
New parameters
- alignment: The card's Alignment
- status: Set to "Forbidden", if the card cannot be included directly in the Deck.
- infrared_bonus: Set to "yes", if the card can be won by infrared_bonus.
- ritual_for: If the card is a Ritual Card, give the monster it can be used to Summon.
- ritual_sacrifices: If the card is a Ritual Card, list the necessary offerings.
Altered parameters
- types: If the card is an Effect Monster, add " / Effect" after the type. e.g.
| types = Spellcaster / Effect
. - password: Now contains the eight-digit numbers that are printed on OCG cards. This parameter is ignored for cards with a status of "Forbidden".
Removed parameters
- password_trans, password_note, password_source and password_date: These are of less or no relevance to the new type of passwords.
- prize_condition: Removed pending confirmation of there being Duel Monsters II prize cards.
- link_battles: The link battles reward feature was removed in Duel Monsters II.
- affects: Until it is better understood how Field Magic Cards work in Duel Monsters II, this option has not been added to this template.
