The Rock Spirit is a character version of the card "The Rock Spirit", appearing in Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monsters.
The Rock Spirit was one of the four living statues surrounding the Fortress of Fear, in the World of Capsule Monsters.
Biography
The statues of The Rock Spirit, Spirit of Flames, Garuda the Wind Spirit and Aqua Spirit stood still at the four corners of the wall surrounding the Fortress of Fear. When Yugi Muto noticed that something had caused a mark on the door to the fortress to light up, Solomon Muto coped that he was folding his arms, just like the statue of The Rock Spirit. Yugi figured that they would need someone to stand before each of the four statues, striking the same pose as them, to unlock the door. Solomon continued to fold his arms before The Rock Spirit, while his friends stood at the others, holding the door open long enough for Yugi to go inside. When Joey Wheeler broke pose the door shut, the statues came to life and attacked those standing before them.[1]
The Rock Spirit battled the Summoned Skull, which Solomon summoned and had no trouble overpowering it. When Yami Yugi emerged from the fortress, he had Dark Magician protect his friends and attack the four statues at once with its "Magical Crossroads" attack. While this damaged The Rock Spirit, it did not immediately destroy it. Solomon commanded Summoned Skull to finish him off. The Rock Spirit pushed its way into Summoned Skull, during the attack, causing both monsters to be destroyed together.[1]
