The "Tutorial" mode of the Duel Terminal is, as the name suggests, a tutorial of the Speed Duel.
Kaiba teaches you "kindly" how to operate, play and ultimately win the Speed Duel. However unlike a regular Speed Duel, your opponent will automatically be selected as Joey (obviously suggesting Kaiba's disgust at him).
