"Battle of the Band", known as "RoaRomin" in the Japanese version, is the forty-ninth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS anime. It first aired in Japan on May 23, 2021 and aired in Australia on January 14, 2023.

The first battle of the final match is a "RoaRomin" faceoff between Roa and Romin. Roa is cornered by Romin's new style, "Jam", as well as upset by her words. Meanwhile Tyler and Toombs, who are watching the battle, struggle to stay still...

Summary

Mimi oversees the events in Maximum Mountain in the bathroom.

Watching the events in Maximum Mountain through a Goha Enterprises Drone, Mimi is shocked to see that Goha 66 has a similar note to the business proposal she got. She remembers asking Yuga if the Goha Rush Duel Team Battle Royal was his idea and as the President Drone waits outside her stall in the ladies' bathroom she asks just who is behind all of this.

In Nexus, Kit Schrödinger and Buff Grimes work earnestly at a holographic console (with Grimes keeping it clean as he does so) while Seatbastian, who has plugged himself into the wall, asks them to hurry up. Nail appears on a screen on the wall, telling them that he's counting on them to check all of the data regarding the tournament and any suspicious individuals, while he stands in Goha Stadium with Yuga and Roa. Yuga and Roa are reading the note that Pidgetrap delivered; "My best, most awesome plan to take over Goha", and he muses over the possibility of the person who wrote this being the one who planned the tournament. Roa asks if Yuga thinks there's a connection, and Nail points out that's why they're looking for any irregularities. Then they hear Oceania Illumilina letting out bubbling noises as she announces that it's time for the finals to begin, and Yuga tells Roa that it's time, so Roa suggests that they go and meet their princesses, while Tyler and Toombs watch them from a nearby doorway.

Yuga and Luke shake hands as they renew their vows to win the tournament.

At the center of Goha Stadium, spotlights snap on Oceania as she announces that it's time for the finals of the Goha Rush Duel Team Battle Royal. Saburamen, Briscoe, Sushiko, Booster, Leo, Valencia, Janko and his Student Council aides, Asana, Schubel, Pidgetrap, Galian, Caterpillio, Tiger, Goha's secretary and Mimi and the President Drone all watch as Oceania tells all the unfortunate Duelists who didn't make it to the finals, in addition to the top-ranking officials from Goha Enterprises to feast their eyes as the finalists enter. Team YNR enter on her right, and on the left right behind them are Team King Luke's Kings; Luke, Romin and Gavin. Team Yuga has 770 points, while Team Luke has 763 and as Yosh, Mason, Toshihiko, Bochi and the Newspaper Club watch she wonders who the mermaid of victory will smile upon and tells the audience to stay tuna'd to find out as the crowd cheers. Yuga and Luke come face-to-face at the center of the arena and Luke comments that they've finally met here. Yuga nods eagerly, agreeing that it's finally time. Luke vows that he'll definitely win and become the King of Duels no matter what happens, and Yuga reflects that a lot has happened and they've ended up on opposing teams, but he doesn't have any doubts now and as the creator of Rush Dueling, he's going to press onward with his own road. Luke vows to press onward with his own "daor" and they shake hands as the crowd cheers again. Oceania pops up to adds that in addition to the title of King of Duels, the winner will get presented with these splendid crowns - paper crowns constructed by Mimi herself that nevertheless underwhelm the crowd, and while Gavin and Romin admit that they're certainly handmade, Luke is immediately smitten with them. Oceania adds that the winning team will also receive a year's supply of "Curry with a Cat's Touch", a guitar, and jeans as Tyler and Toombs watch from the stands. Oceania suggests that they begin the first match - Romin Kassidy vs. Roa Kassidy.

The lights in the arena dim as Roa rises on a platform with his microphone, telling everyone in the audience not to miss the moment that he magnificently wins and prompting cheers from his female fanbase. Romin rises on another platform with her Duel Guitar, musing that she knows Roa's strength better than anyone, but she has to win this to get her team some momentum. Mimi meanwhile circles Roa's platform on her own hovering platform crying his name in joy, and Oceania declares the start of Round One. Romin and Roa insert their Decks into their Duel Guitar and Duel Disk respectively, deploying the blade of Roa's Duel Disk and the green holographic dome around them.

Roa lays his microphone down and declares his turn and his splendid, mesmerizing draws. He's drawn "King's Invitation" and has two "Royal Rebel's No Wave", "Royal Rebel's Doom Metal", and "Royal Rebel's Treasure" in his hand already. He activates the Spell Card "King's Invitation", which shines a blue light on Romin's hand as he explains that he can randomly select up to two cards in his opponent's hand and Special Summon them if they were monsters. "Prima Guitarna the Shining Superstar" and "Esperade the Smashing Superstar" both are revealed and are Special Summoned in Defense Position to Romin's field as she decides to take this chance even though she doesn't know what Roa is planning. Roa asks the crowd if it appears that he's in a pinch, and he picks up his microphone as he explains that he won't be while he has the rest of the effect of "King's Invitation", explaining that he can Special Summon up to two Fiend Normal Monsters from his hand. He Special Summons the two 2600 DEF "Royal Rebel's No Wave", and Romin gasps that Roa is tightening his defense, but Roa tells her that's what he was leading her to think. He magnificently Tributes both of his pawns to Tribute Summon, chanting "A red-hot blast beat scream that tears through the gates of hell. A death rush requiem that submerges darkness into the light. Come, king of the demons! Annihilate everything that you touch! Royal Rebel's Doom Metal!" As "Doom Metal" leers into the microphone on the end of its sword, Romin wonders if Roa was aiming from this for the start and Roa activates the "Extreme Headliner" effect of "Royal Rebel's Doom Metal", destroying all face-up monsters his opponent controls and inflicting damage to them equal to their total Levels times 100. With two Level 7 monsters destroyed, Romin loses 1400 LP, bringing her down to 2600. Yuga and Nail watch as Romin falls to one knee, admitting that it's as expected of Roa and that he's tougher than she thought. Gavin worries over Roa being in such a pinch on the first turn, but Luke reassures him that Romin knows Roa well and will find the daor of victory. Gavin admits that's true, and Luke insists that Romin will win without a doubt, given that they will be his first retainers after all. Poor Gavin can only tell Luke not to decide that on his own. Roa asks Romin if she's doing okay, and she gets to her feet, claiming that of course she is. Roa cheerfully proclaims that everything's okay in that case, as everyone in the audience would feel sad if things ended too quickly after all. He Sets a card and beautifully ends his turn, much to the joy of his fangirls (and Mimi). Tyler whispers Roa's name as Mimi circles him on her hovering platform with adoration, while Romin thinks that Roa is definitely strong, but something feels different about him. She reminds herself that she has to keep her eyes on victory and vows to Duel in a manner that will make Princess G happy if she's watching from somewhere.

"CAN - Re:D" powers up from "JAM:P Up!"

As she declares her turn and draws three cards, Princess G is watching the Duel on her tablet while she sits on a pier with her motorcycle, thinking that Romin has infinite potential and that she wants to hear the Jam of victory that only she can play. Romin examines her hand, containing "JAM:P Up!", "Ego Rhythm", "CAN - Re:D", "CAN:D", and "Romanpick". Telling "CAN:D" that she's counting on her, she Summons "CAN:D" and then sends her to the Graveyard to activate "JAM:P Up!" to Special Summon, leading the crowd in cheers as she chants "Awaken!" and then in English, "I love you! Are you ready? I'm ready! You can do it! CAN - Re:D!" "CAN - Re:D" appears with 2500 ATK, but due to the effect of "JAM:P Up!" she gains 1500 ATK until the end of the turn. Roa comments that it looks like a cute little miss has appeared and he encourages them to bring some excitement to the stage of victory. Romin warns Roa that if he underestimates them he'll get burned, and she Summons "Romanpick" and pays 500 LP to activate her effect, falling to 2100 LP as she sends the top three cards of her Deck to the Graveyard ("Wattkiss", "Watangel", and "Concert Costume Creator") then adds a Psychic monster from her Graveyard to her hand, "Concert Costume Creator". Then she activates the "All Set Refrain" effect of "CAN - Re:D", returning "Romanpick" to her hand and Summoning it again, activating its effect and falling to 1600 LP. Roa comments that Romin sure is trying with all of these refrains and notes that it's almost like she plans on winning. Romin confirms that she does, much to Roa's surprise, and she tells him that this is a Jam with everything on the line as she sends "Howlingbird", "Keytar Kid", and "Romic n' Roller" from her Deck to her Graveyard, then chooses to add "Romic n' Roller" to her hand. Her hand now containing "Concert Costume Creator", "Ego Rhythm" and "Romic n' Roller", she declares that this is her beat and Sets "Ego Rhythm", then tells Roa to burn a costume fit for this stage into his eyes as she Summons "Concert Costume Creator", much to Yuga's interest. Then she Tributes "Romanpick" to Tribute Summon the perfectly flawless "Romic n' Roller" and activates her effect, and "Romic n' Roller" screams into her microphone as she reduces the ATK of all monsters Roa controls by 500 until the end of the turn. "Royal Rebel's Doom Metal" falls to 2000 ATK as Roa grits his teeth and Romin declares that this is her stage. First she attacks "Royal Rebel's Doom Metal" with "CAN - Re:D", who cracks her knuckles as she is surrounded by instruments, before playing them all to attack with "Monochrome Melodious", destroying "Doom Metal" with a stream of music that turns it grey and reducing Roa to 2000 LP. Gavin and Luke celebrate Romin's successful attack and she attacks with "Romic n' Roller" next, who unleashes a scream that reduces Roa to 1700 LP and knocks his microphone off the platform, much to the concern of Mimi and his fans. Tyler angrily snaps that he can't watch this and he turns and runs back into the bleachers, leaving a confused Toombs behind him until Toombs realizes what Tyler is doing and pursues him.

Tyler and Toombs return to support Roa.

Roa gets to his feet and congratulates Romin, commenting that this is the brightest she's ever shined. Romin retorts that Roa is dimmer than he's ever been in his life, and though Roa tries to shrug off her remarks she declares that she's finally figured what's off about Roa; he can't stand on stage alone. Roa nervously tries to dismiss her argument, but Romin declares that Princess G has her back, even though she isn't here, but who does Roa have behind him? As she is, Romin doesn't feel like she can lose to Roa, though Roa insists that he shines most alone, though he's forgotten his microphone had fallen when he reaches for it. But Tyler yells that he won't let Roa do this and he throws his microphone back to him, insisting that he won't let him stand on stage alone. Oceania descends on her platform to tell them off for coming onto the field when they're just spectators, but Tyler turns around and snaps that they aren't spectators; he's the drummer of RoaRomin, Tyler Getz, while Toombs sneaks up behind Oceania to tell her that he's the bassist, Toombs. Terrified by Toombs sneaking up on her, Oceania ascends back into the air on her platform and gives them special permission to stay. Roa asks if Tyler and Toombs aren't being a little full of themselves, and Tyler agrees that they're absolutely full of it - full of a beat. He holds up his drumsticks as Toombs readies his guitar, declaring that they are behind him (Toombs's name means "behind you" in Japanese). Romin is heartened to see her bandmates supporting Roa, and Roa tells them that he's counting on them to keep the rhythm and declares that they will witness the trump card he wishes for with the continuation of his dream.

He activates a Trap, "Royal Rebel's Treasure", increasing Romin's LP by 1000, to 2600, and Romin expresses confusion that she gains LP, then Roa plants his microphone into the ground and explains that he gets to draw two cards. He draws "Royal Rebel's Heavy Metal" and "Royal Rebel's Invasion", and adds that if he has less than 1000 LP he can Special Summon two Fiend monsters from his hands. "Heavy Metal" and "Invasion" appear on the field, screaming into their microphones. He muses on what you can't give up and what you must protect; these are the real trump cards which he's been holding onto for this very moment. Toombs and Tyler remember Roa comparing them to "Heavy Metal" and "Invasion" and realize that Roa means that they are his real trump cards, not the monsters. Romin smiles, thinking that Roa has finally regained what he lost. Roa asks her what the matter is, and Romin snaps out of her thoughts and ends her turn, returning the ATK of "CAN - Re:D" to normal.

With "Heavy Metal" and "Invasion" out, Roa revives "Doom Metal".

Looking back at Tyler and Toombs, Roa declares his turn and draws five cards; "Royal Rebel's Phaser", "Royal Rebel's Command", "Royal Rebel's Arena", "Royal Rebel's Rift", and "Followl of the Dark Wisdom". First he Summons "Royal Rebel's Phaser", and then he sends it to the Graveyard to activate its effect, Special Summoning a Level 7 or higher Fiend monster from his Graveyard in Defense Position, telling "Royal Rebel's Doom Metal" to let him hear its sound. Romin starts as she realizes what monsters Roa has out, and Roa confirms that "Doom Metal" represents himself and it's because of "Heavy Metal" and "Invasion" that he was able to come back. Toombs and Tyler gasp happily and Roa sends the Fiend "Followl of the Dark Wisdom" from his hand to the Graveyard to activate "Royal Rebel's Command", increasing the ATK of "Doom Metal" by 1000, to 3500, and changing it into Attack Position. Setting a card, Roa suggests that they let their fans in the stadium hear their heated clash of sound, and Tyler and Toombs smile as Romin admits that sounds fun. Roa activates the Field Spell Card "Royal Rebel's Arena", and Miniscape begins to play as the combined ancient architecture and punk-rock stage surrounds them. Gavin gasps that it's like they're at a live concert, and Luke admits that it's certainly flashy, while Yuga notes that it seems to be the finale and Nail agrees. Mimi gasps that she can see it; Roa, Romin and the backup band whose names she has forgotten have all assembled and it's practically a RoaRomin concert. Roa explains that "Arena" prevents LIGHT Fiend monsters he controls from being destroyed by Trap effects. As Romin grits her teeth, Roa calls on the survival instinct and highway lead to show him that rebellious spirit against his throne, and "Royal Rebel's Invasion" lunges towards "Concert Costume Creator", but Romin refuses to let Roa and returns "Prima Guitarna" from her Graveyard to her Deck to activate her "Ego Rhythm" Trap Card, increasing the ATK of all monsters she controls by 300 until the end of the turn. "Romic n' Roller" rises to 2000 ATK, "CAN - Re:D" to 2800 and finally "Concert Costume Creator" to 1500. "Invasion" unleashes a scream that is amplified by its speaker, destroying "Concert Costume Creator" and reducing Romin to 1800 LP as she gasps at the violence of the storm of sound. Roa tells his princesses not to be afraid yet, and "Heavy Metal" dashes past "Romic n' Roller" and destroys her, reducing Romin to 1300 LP, though she insists that this level of pressure is nothing. Finally "Doom Metal" unleashes a loud shriek that destroys "CAN - Re:D" even as she claps her hands over her ears. Romin falls to her knees as her LP drops to 600, and Gavin panics, but Luke comments that Romin sure is having fun, much to Gavin's confusion. Luke tells him to close his eyes, and he'll see how Romin is having fun performing with her opponent. Gavin does so, but then opens his eyes and admits that he doesn't get it, prompting Luke to smile and comment "Of course, of course". Romin strums the Duel Guitar and asks if that's it, given that Roa hasn't cut off her Jam just yet. Roa comments that it's a pity and admits that it looks like he'll be taking a light break, ending his turn and returning the ATK of "Doom Metal" to normal.

Romin brings out "Prima Guitarna".

Romin admits to herself that she's never had a concert or a Duel as tough as this before, but it's fun, and she wants it to continue forever. She draws five cards and immediately returns two Psychic monsters from her Graveyard to the bottom of her Deck to activate the Spell Card "JAM:P Start!", her hand also containing "Psy Stage Bouncer", "Climax Finale", "Endoll", and "Psychic Raid". Tyler gasps as Romin explains that she can choose a Normal Monster in her Graveyard and add it to her hand, and if she adds "CAN:D", she gains 1000 LP, rising to 1600 LP as she does so. She Summons "CAN:D", then activates "Psychic Raid", choosing one monster on either field to take damage equal to its ATK, and she chooses the 100 ATK "CAN:D". Falling to 1500 LP, she explains that she can then draw a card and reveal it, and she draws "Prima Guitarna", explaining that if the drawn card is a monster whose Attribute matches the monster she targeted she can draw again. This time she draws "Stardom Light" and she sends "CAN:D" to the Graveyard to activate it, Special Summoning "Prima Guitarna" from her hand and regaining 1000 LP, bringing her to 2500 LP. Roa promptly seizes the chance to activate his Trap, "Royal Rebel's Heaven and Hell", increasing the ATK of "Doom Metal" by 900, to 3400 as Gavin and Luke gasp in shock. Roa adds that Romin will also be forced to attack "Doom Metal" first and Toombs and Tyler declare that this is the strength of their trinity sound. Romin congratulates them, but vows that her strings of seven haven't snapped yet and strikes up a guitar solo on the Duel Guitar as she pays 1000 LP to activate the effect of "Prima Guitarna", incrasing the ATK of all monsters she controls by the number of monsters Roa controls times 300. Romin's LP falls to 1500 as "Prima Guitarna" rises to 3100 ATK, though Roa insists that this is still within his calculations and even after this she won't be able to overcome his sound.

Romin replies that she wonders about that, paying LP equal to the number of monsters in her Graveyard times 100 and strumming the Duel Guitar as her LP falls to 1000 and she activates the trump card she's wished for, telling the crowd to witness it together with the continuation of her dream. From the promised land of everyone's envy Romin activates "Climax Finale", and the crowd cheer as Romin explains that "Prima Guitarna" will gain ATK equal to the number of monsters in her Graveyard times 100 until the end of the turn. Gavin and Luke cheer Romin's move as "Prima Guitarna" rises to 3600 ATK, though Roa insists that the concert isn't over yet. In that case, Romin Summons "Endoll", an unassuming monster with 200 ATK, much to everyone's confusion as a spotlight snaps on it, though Luke eventually begins chanting the monster's name and the rest of the crowd follow (and to Nail's surprise even Yuga joins in). Basking in everyone's cheers, Romin activates the effect of "Endoll", sending the "Psy Stage Bouncer" in her hand and "Endoll" from her field to the Graveyard, allowing her to Set "Climax Finale" from her Graveyard and activate it again. With the addition of two more monsters in her Graveyard, Romin pays 700 LP to increase the ATK of "Prima Guitarna" by 700, falling to 300 LP as "Prima Guitarna" rises to 4300 ATK. Roa can only gasp the ATK value in utter shock and Romin declares that their burning melody will resound around the world, encouraging everyone to believe in their own road and thanking them in English. "Prima Guitarna" attacks "Doom Metal" with "Melodic Refrain Shock" and destroys it with a stream of colorful music as Roa gasp in shock, but he regains enough composure to smile as his LP is reduced to zero.

RoaRomin reunite as the two teams come together.

Princess G smiles, declaring that she's heard Romin's Jam of victory that only she can play loud and clear. In Goha Stadium Oceania flies excitedly around on her platform as she announces that the first round has ended in Romin Kassidy's victory. Romin reunites with her cousin, commenting that it's been a while since they've had a concert this good. Roa agrees, and he tells Tyler and Toombs that they did well as well, Romin winking at them as they smile nervously. As Yuga, Nail, Gavin and Luke join them, Tyler remembers that something serious is happening right now, and if that's the case they wouldn't be totally opposed to helping them. As Roa smiles, Mimi flies around them on her own hovering platform, declaring that it was such a magnificent concert, and Oceania declares that currently both YNR and King Luke's Kings are tied with 770 points - and next episode they'll be getting Round Two. Luke can only ask what Oceania means by "next episode", but Oceania just "blubs" innocently.

Featured Duel: Romin Kassidy vs Roa Kassidy

Romin VS Roa.png

The Duel is conducted as a Rush Duel.

Turn 1: Roa
Roa's hand contains two copies of "Royal Rebel's No Wave", "Royal Rebel's Doom Metal", and "Royal Rebel's Treasure". Roa draws "King's Invitation". Roa activates the Spell "King's Invitation", revealing up to two random cards in Romin's hand and force her to Special Summon as many of those monsters to her field as possible, then Roa can Special Summon up to two Fiend Normal Monsters from his hand in face-up Defense Position. Roa reveals "Prima Guitarna the Shining Superstar" and "Esperade the Smashing Superstar" from Romin's hand, so Romin Special Summons "Prima Guitarna" (2200/0) and "Esperade" (2500/0) from her hand in face-up Defense Position, then Roa Special Summons two copies of "Royal Rebel's No Wave" (0/2600) from his hand in face-up Defense Position. Roa Tributes both copies of "No Wave" to Tribute Summon "Royal Rebel's Doom Metal" (2500/2000). As "Royal Rebel's Doom Metal" was Tribute Summoned this turn by Tributing two Level 7 or higher Fiend monsters, Roa activates its effect, destroying all face-up monsters Romin controls and inflicting damage to Romin equal to the combined Levels of the destroyed monsters x 100. The Level 7 "Prima Guitarna" and "Esperade" are destroyed (Romin: 4000 → 2600 LP). Roa Sets a card.

Turn 2: Romin
Romin's hand contains "JAM:P Up!", "Ego Rhythm", "CAN - Re:D", "CAN:D", and "Romanpick". Romin Normal Summons "CAN:D" (100/100). Romin activates the Spell "JAM:P Up!", sending a Psychic monster she controls to the GY to Special Summon a Level 7 Psychic monster from her hand, and if she sends "CAN:D" to the GY, the Special Summoned monster gains 1500 ATK until the end of the turn. Romin sends "CAN:D" to the GY and Special Summons "CAN - Re:D" from her hand (2500/1500 → 4000/1500). Romin Normal Summons "Romanpick" (500/0). As Romin's LP are lower than Roa's, she activates the effect of "Romanpick", paying 500 LP (Romin: 2600 → 2100 LP) to send the top three cards of her Deck to the GY, then if she sends a Psychic monster from her Deck to the GY with this effect, she can add a Psychic monster from her GY to her hand. Romin sends "Wattkiss", "Watangel", and "Concert Costume Creator" from the top of her Deck to the GY, then adds "Concert Costume Creator" to her hand. Romin activates the effect of "CAN - Re:D", choosing a monster she controls with 500 or less ATK and returning it to her hand, but if she does, she cannot Tribute Summon monsters with 1500 or more DEF in Attack Position for the rest of this turn. She returns "Romanpick" to her hand. Romin Normal Summons "Romanpick" (500/0). Romin pays 500 LP to activate the effect of "Romanpick" (Romin: 2100 → 1600 LP), sending "Howlingbird", "Keytar Kid", and "Romic n' Roller" from her Deck to the GY, then adds "Romic n' Roller" from her GY to her hand. Romin Sets "Ego Rhythm". Romin Normal Summons "Concert Costume Creator" (1200/800). Romin Tributes "Romanpick" to Tribute Summon "Romic n' Roller" (1700/0). As her LP are 2000 or less, Romin activates the effect of "Romic n' Roller", reducing the ATK/DEF of all monsters Roa controls by 500 until the end of this turn ("Doom Metal": 2500/2000 → 2000/1500). "CAN - Re:D" attacks and destroys "Doom Metal" (Roa: 4000 → 2000 LP). "Romic n' Roller" attacks Roa directly (Roa: 2000 → 300 LP). As Roa took damage from a direct attack, Roa activates his Set Trap "Royal Rebel's Treasure", increasing Romin's LP by 1000 and drawing two cards, then if Roa has 1000 or less LP, he can Special Summon up to two LIGHT Fiend monsters from his hand. Roa draws "Royal Rebel's Heavy Metal" and "Royal Rebel's Invasion" (Romin: 1600 → 2600 LP), then Special Summons "Royal Rebel's Heavy Metal" (2500/0) and "Royal Rebel's Invasion" (2300/0) from his hand in Attack Position.

Turn 3: Roa
Roa draws "Royal Rebel's Phaser", "Royal Rebel's Command", "Royal Rebel's Arena", "Royal Rebel's Rift", and "Followl of the Dark Wisdom". Roa Normal Summons "Royal Rebel's Phaser" (100/0). As he controls a Level 7 or higher Fiend monster, Roa activates the effect of "Phaser", sending it to the GY to Special Summon a Level 7 or higher Fiend monster from his GY in face-up Defense Position. Roa Special Summons "Royal Rebel's Doom Metal" (2500/2000) from his GY in face-up Defense Position. Roa activates the Spell "Royal Rebel's Command", sending a Fiend monster from his hand to the GY to choose a LIGHT Fiend monster he controls and have it gain 1000 ATK, then he can change its battle position. Roa sends "Followl of the Dark Wisdom" to the GY and chooses "Doom Metal" ("Doom Metal": 2500/2000 → 3500/2000), changing it to Attack Position. Roa Sets a card. As Romin controls two or more monsters, Roa activates the Field Spell "Royal Rebel's Arena". The effect of "Arena" prevents LIGHT Fiend monsters on the field from being destroyed by Trap effects. "Invasion" attacks "Concert Costume Creator", but Romin activates her Set Trap "Ego Rhythm", returning a Level 5 or higher Psychic monster from her GY to her Deck to have all Psychic monsters she controls gain 300 ATK until the end of this turn. Romin returns "Prima Guitarna" to her Deck ("Romic n' Roller": 1700/0 → 2000/0) ("CAN - Re:D": 2500/1500 → 2800/1500) ("Concert Costume Creator": 1200/800 → 1500/800). The attack continues and "Concert Costume Creator" is destroyed (Romin: 2600 → 1800 LP). "Heavy Metal" attacks and destroys "Romic n' Roller" (Romin: 1800 → 1300 LP). "Doom Metal" attacks and destroys "CAN - Re:D" (Romin: 1300 → 600 LP).

Turn 4: Romin
Romin draws "JAM:P Start!", "Psy Stage Bouncer", "Climax Finale", "Endoll", and "Psychic Raid". Romin activates the Spell "JAM:P Start!", placing two Psychic monsters from her GY on the bottom of her Deck in any order to add a Psychic Normal Monster from her GY to her hand, and if she adds "CAN:D" to her hand with this effect, she gains 1000 LP. Romin places "Romanpick" and "Romic n' Roller" on the bottom of her Deck[Note 1] and adds "CAN:D" to her hand (Romin: 600 → 1600 LP). Romin Normal Summons "CAN:D" (100/100). Romin activates the Spell "Psychic Raid", returning three Psychic Normal Monsters from her GY to her Deck to choose a Level 8 or lower monster on the field and take damage equal to its ATK, then draw a card and reveal it, and if that card is a monster with the same Attribute as the chosen monster, she can draw another card. Romin returns "Watangel", "Howlingbird", and "Keytar Kid" from her GY to her Deck,[Note 1] chooses the LIGHT "CAN:D" (Romin: 1600 → 1500 LP) and draws the LIGHT "Prima Guitarna", so she also draws "Stardom Light". Romin activates the Spell "Stardom Light", sending a Normal Monster she controls to the GY to Special Summon a Psychic monster from her hand, then if she sent a Level 2 or lower monster to the GY, she gains 1000 LP. Romin sends "CAN:D" to the GY and Special Summons "Prima Guitarna" (2200/0) (Romin: 1500 → 2500 LP). As Romin Normal or Special Summoned a Level 7 or higher monster, Roa activates his Set Trap "Royal Rebel's Rift", allowing him to choose an Attack Position LIGHT Fiend monster he controls to have it gain 300 ATK for each monster he controls until the end of this turn, and while Roa controls that monster, Romin must target it for attacks this turn. Roa chooses "Doom Metal" ("Doom Metal": 2500/2000 → 3400/2000). Romin activates the effect of "Prima Guitarna", paying 1000 LP (Romin: 2500 → 1500 LP) to have all monsters she controls gain 300 ATK for each monster Roa controls until the end of the turn ("Prima Guitarna": 2200/0 → 3100/0). Romin activates the Spell "Climax Finale", paying 100 LP for each Psychic monster in her GY to choose a Psychic monster she controls and have it gain 100 ATK for each Psychic monster in her GY. Romin has five Psychic monsters in her GY ("Esperade", "Wattkiss", "Concert Costume Creator", "CAN - Re:D", and "CAN:D"), so she pays 500 LP (Romin: 1500 → 1000 LP) and chooses "Prima Guitarna" ("Prima Guitarna": 3100/0 → 3600/0). Romin Normal Summons "Endoll" (100/100). Romin activates the effect of "Endoll", sending a monster from her hand to the GY to send it from the field to the GY and choose up to two copies of "Climax Finale" and/or "Psychic Introduction" in her GY and Set them to her Spell & Trap Zone. Romin sends "Psy Stage Bouncer" from her hand and "Endoll" from her field to the GY and Sets "Climax Finale" from her GY. Romin activates her Set "Climax Finale" and has seven Psychic monsters in her GY ("Esperade", "Wattkiss", "Concert Costume Creator", "CAN - Re:D", "CAN:D", "Psy Stage Bouncer", and "Endoll"), so she pays 700 LP (Romin: 1000 → 300 LP) and chooses "Prima Guitarna" ("Prima Guitarna": 3600/0 → 4300/0). "Prima Guitarna" attacks and destroys "Doom Metal" (Roa: 300 → 0 LP).
