Anime[edit]

  • In episode 82, Mizar confronts this monster in another dimension and uses a blank card in order to capture its physical form and seal it. Later Mizar uses this card during his Duel against Yuma Tsukumo. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying "Radius, the Half-Moon Dragon" (who was Level 8 through its own effect) and "Parsec, the Interstellar Dragon". In the next episode, this card attacks "Number 39: Utopia", but Yuma activates the effect of "Utopia" to negate the attack. Mizar then activates this card's effect, detaching "Parsec, the Interstellar Dragon" in order to negate the effects of all other face-up monsters, increase this card's ATK by 1000 (as a card effect resolved during the Battle Phase), and let it attack again. This card then attacks and destroys "Utopia". The electrical shock from the Sphere Field badly injures Yuma and knocks him out, forcing Kite Tenjo to take over for Yuma. On Mizar's End Phase, this card's effect expires. Later "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" attacks this card. Kite then activates this card's first effect to banish both battling monsters. At the end of the Battle Phase, both this card and "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" are Special Summoned and the ATK of "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" increases by 500 since this card had an Overlay Unit when it was banished. Mizar then activates "Instant Overlay" to attach the latter to this card. He then activates this card's effect to negate the effects of "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" and return its ATK to its original value by detaching "Instant Overlay". Later Mizar activates "Energy Attractor" to attach it and Kite's Set "Lumenize" to this card as Overlay Units. This card attacks "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" and Mizar activates "Tachyon Drive" to make this card immune to Spell/Trap Cards this turn. Only "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" is destroyed since it wasn't a "Number" monster. Mizar then activates this card's effect, which increases this card's ATK by 1000 and lets it attack again. This card then attacks directly, but Kite activates the effect of "Photon Specter" to revive "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" with its ATK reduced by 1000 and its effects negated as well as grant it immunity to destruction by battle this turn. A replay occurs, and Mizar uses this card to attack "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon", but the latter isn't destroyed. On Mizar's End Phase, this card's effect expires. After Kite Xyz Summons "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon", Kite activates its first effect to negate this card's effects. Kite then activates the effect of "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" to detach this card's Overlay Unit and increase the ATK of "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" by 500. "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" then attacks and destroys this card. On the last turn, Mizar activates "Monster Reborn" to revive this card. He then activates "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force" to Rank-Up this card via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Number 107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon".
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Kite has when he reminds Mizar that "Tachyon Drive", only prevents Spells and Traps from affecting this card.
  • In episode 84, this card appears in a flashback Astral has when he wonders about this card (as there were only 100 "Numbers") and made note of the tremendous energy he felt after both Kite and Mizar's "Galaxy-Eyes" monsters had appeared on the field.
    • This card also appears in Yuma's nightmare involving facing Mizar and this card and his inability to be able fight back against the Barians in Sphere Field.
    • This card also appears in the footage of Kite and Mizar's Duel, which was observed by Kite and Hart.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Yuma has when he wonders if he will lose without being able to do anything like his Duel against Mizar where he couldn't protect Astral and was almost finished off.
  • In episode 87, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Yuma has when he explains to Tori Meadows and Bronk Stone that the Sphere Field that Mizar and Alito used in their Duels against him have done damage to Astral's body and thus he has to recover inside the Key.
  • In episode 96, Mizar uses this card during his Duel against Kite. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying "Parsec, the Interstellar Dragon" and "Schwarzschild Limit Dragon". In the next episode, this card attacks and destroys "Starliege Lord Galaxion". After Kite Xyz Summons "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon", Mizar activates "Neutrino Dowsing" to detach an Overlay Unit from this card and send "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force" from his Deck to the Graveyard in order to activate the effect of "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force, Ranking-Up this card via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Number 107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon".
  • In episode 127, Mizar uses this card during his Duel against Trey and Quinton. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying two copies of "Schwarzschild Limit Dragon". This card attacks "Number 9: Dyson Sphere", but Quinton activates the second effect of "Dyson Sphere" to negate the attack. Mizar activates this card's effect to detach "Schwarzschild Limit Dragon", negate the effects of all other face-up monsters, increase this card's ATK by 1000 (as a card effect resolved during the Battle Phase), and let it attack again. This card then attacks and destroys "Dyson Sphere". On Mizar's End Phase, this card's effect expires. Later Trey activates the second effect of "Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis" to equip "Number 9: Dyson Sphere" to it, but Mizar activates "Tachyon Flare Wing", which equips to this card and negates the effects of all face-up Xyz Monsters controlled by Trey and Quinton. After Trey Xyz Summons "Chaos Number 6: Chronomaly Chaos Atlandis", the latter attacks this card, but Mizar activates the second effect of "Tachyon Flare Wing" to send it to the Graveyard and prevent this monster's destruction. Trey then activates the third effect of "Chronomaly Chaos Atlandis", equipping this card to it and increasing its ATK by 1000. In the next episode, Quinton activates the second effect of "Chaos Number 9: Chaos Dyson Sphere" to inflict 500 damage to Mizar for each Overlay Unit attached to it, but Mizar activates "Damage Rebound" to reduce the damage to 0 and force Trey and Quinton to return a card they control to the Deck. Mizar explains if a monster is returned, Trey and Quinton will take damage equal to that monster's ATK. Quinton returns this card to the Deck as it was an Equip Card at the time. On the last turn of the Duel, Mizar activates "Rank-Up-Magic - The Seventh One" to Special Summon this card from the Extra Deck and then subsequently Rank-Up this card via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Number 107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon". After the Duel, Mizar holds this card and sees it radiating. This prompts him to go to the moon and duel Kite there since that's where Kite is going.
    • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Dumon has when he realizes that Trey and Quinton's plan was to equip this card to one of their monsters and remove it from Mizar's field all along.
  • In episode 138, Don Thousand absorbs this card along with every "Number" in Mizar's possession after he absorbs Mizar.
  • In episode 141, Nash absorbs this card along with every "Number" in Don Thousand's possession after Don Thousand is defeated and he willingly allows his power to be absorbed by Nash.
  • This card's attack name in both the Japanese version and the dub is "Tachyon Spiral of Destruction", while its effect name in both versions is "Tachyon Transmigration".
