Hi, I'm Alpha. My wiki-relevant interests, in rough order of effort spent on them, are the Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Structures manga, World Legacy lore (especially Orcust), and knowing juuuust enough Japanese to beat others to the punch for romaji in a new card name occasionally.I also used to help upload OCG Twitter images, until that burnt me out. If you wanna replace me on that, a guide is just below! Besides occasional wiki editing, I'm a Scripter for YGOPro Percy, and I maintain a Yu-Gi-Oh! Discord bot named Bastion. (Yes, named after that Bastion.)

Reminders[edit]

Twitter Image Upload Process[edit]

First, check the Card Gallery for the card in question and determine if it's necessary - if it already has a Twitter image, it's not necessary unless this is a new framing that covers less (for example, see the history of File:WorldLegacysSorrow-OW.png). Also, the winners of "Icon Polls" (like File:KnightmareCorruptorIblee-OW.png) are preferred to the usual style of Twitter image, since they're better quality. Finally, a Tag Force image of an identical artwork also makes a Twitter image unnecessary.

If you've decided it is necessary, copy the image into an image editor and crop it down to just the image, without the pack information on the side (though an icon covering some is often unavoidable). There should be a clear line between black or white space and the card artwork. Save the image as a .png file, using the normal image policy conventions with the suffix "-OW", as seen above.

Upload the file to Yugipedia. For the summary, use the following template, filling in "CardName" and "twitterlink". You don't need to select licensing options.

== Summary ==
{{Fair use rationale
	| Description = Image of "[[CardName]]".
	| Source            = [https://twitter.com/YuGiOh_OCG_INFO/status/twitterlink Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Twitter]
	| Portion           = Single image.
	| Purpose = To illustrate the card galleries.
	| Resolution        = Medium
	| Replaceability = No free alternative available.
}}

Finally, edit the Card Gallery page. Use the following template, filling in "FileName" and "twitterlink" - note that twitterlink is just the numbers at the end. If the Gallery page already has an "Other" section, simply add the line starting with the filename under any existing similar lines (for example, see Card Gallery:Erebus the Underworld Monarch). You'll need to go through the "Dark Magician" verification step.

{{Card gallery|region=JP|type=Other|
FileName-OW.png // twitter::twitterlink
}}

Ultimate Pegasus Challenge[edit]

Miscellaneous Sources[edit]

The following are sources of information about the Ultimate Pegasus Challenge I've found that aren't (as of writing) cited on that page, which I'm keeping because they seem to be few and far between, even if they're not immediately useful for the current state of the page.

Ultimate Pegasus Challenge 2015 Transcript[edit]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ua5jFCn3xuw

This is a transcription of character dialog during the Ultimate Pegasus Challenge feature match at the Yu-Gi-Oh! 2015 North American WCQ, as recorded in the above video. P is Maximillion Pegasus and M is Marik Ishtar.

0:21 P: Hello, and welcome to the Ultimate Pegasus Challenge. It's all about me. Do you have what it takes? I said, do you have what it takes? [crowd cheers] Thank you. All right, duelists, commence dueling!

2:16 P: All right, all right duelists! We have a new rule. You cannot attack, unless you say "Yu-Gi-Oh!".

4:56 P: Is nobody attacking? I cannot hear you!

5:33 P: All right everyone! We have a new rule. Choose a monster, a spell, and a trap card from your graveyard, and set them all on to your field.

6:23 M: The spirit of Helpoemer forces all duelists to discard a card at random!

6:28 M: To repeat for those who weren't listening: The spirit of Helpoemer forces all duelists to discard a card at random!

9:10 P: Attention everyone! Each duelist may search his or her deck for any card, and add it to his or her hand. Shuffle your decks afterwards!

9:42 P: I repeat, each duelist may search his or her deck for any card, and add it to his or her hand, shuffle your decks afterwards!

11:12 M: Hahahahaha! When you weren't looking, I turned all your monsters into "Jam" monsters! For this turn, and the subsequent two turns, all monsters have "Jam" added to the ends of their names. And whenever a "Jam" monster is destroyed, you can Special Summon it back to your field in Defense position!

11:43 M: Since that seemed to shock you so much, I'll say it again, so you believe me! All of your monsters are "Jam" monsters! For this turn, and the subsequent two turns, all monsters have "Jam" at the ends of their names. When a "Jam" monster is destroyed, you can Special Summon it back to your field in Defense position.

15:11 P: Attention everyone! All old rules are no longer in effect! However, I feel like sharing some of my millenial magic. Reveal your hand, and face-down cards, to your opponent!

16:41 M: Attention duelists! My Makyura the Destroyer transports your duel to the Shadow Realm! Its spirit lingers, and duelists may activate Trap Cards from their hands, for this turn, and the subsequent two turns! I repeat: duelists can activate their Trap Cards from their hands for this turn, and the subsequent two turns! Hahahahaha!

18:50 P: All right, all right everyone. Choose a card in your opponent's graveyard, set it to your side of the field.

19:17 P: One more time, choose a card in your opponent's graveyard, set it to your side of the field.

20:00 M: I can sense the presence of The Winged Dragon of Ra! By paying 1000 life points for each monster, you may smite any number of your opponent's monsters, and send them to the graveyard! Whoever is the turn player chooses how many monsters to destroy first! Once again: that is 1000 life points for each monster, and you can smite any number of your opponent's monsters, sending them to the graveyard!

22:45 P: All right everyone, each duelist may draw up to 2 cards, but loses 1000 life points for each card he or she chooses to draw. Now, whoever's turn it is must decide first.

23:09 P: Let me repeat that. Each duelist may draw up to 2 cards but loses 1000 life points for each card he or she chooses to draw, and whoever's turn it is must decide first.

24:17 M: I'm feeling a little homesick! For this turn and the subsequent two turns, "Necrovalley" is considered to be in play. Yes, ahahahaha! And, cards cannot leave the graveyard, as if "Necrovalley"'s effect were active! "Necrovalley" is in play! Ahahahahaha...

27:24 P: All [cut off]. Enough fun and games with me. I'm going to leave it to my trusted deputy to continue for the rest of the tournament. Peace!

Neither Pegasus, Marik, nor any "deputy" speak again for the rest of the feature match.

Expanded World Legacy Table[edit]

A version of the table from the "World Legacy" archetype page that includes some arguably speculative connections to other archetypes. The DANE row especially is mostly me just mucking around.
