Line 1: Line 1:
For the most part, the early OCG pulled from the first four Duel Monsters video games. This is especially obvious for Series 1, where only 43 of the cards were ones that weren't featured in one of the games. 53 of the cards featured in the games have never been printed, indicated by a lack of database ID.

Yudias activates the effect of "Eternal Galactica Oblivion", shuffling five Galaxy Type monsters from his Graveyard into the Deck to send the top three cards of his Deck to the Graveyard, and prevent it from being destroyed by Zuwijo's Trap Card effects until the end of this turn, then Yudias can increase its ATK by the number of monsters in his Graveyard x 300 until the end of his turn. Yudias shuffles "Galactiara Eve", "Interstellive", "Oblivion", "Cosmo Titan" and "Heliacal Riser" from his Graveyard into the Deck and sends "Galactica Extravagant", "Shadow Sentinel" and "Bright Sentinel" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard ("Eternal Galactica Oblivion": 3500/2500 → 4400/2500). <u>Turn 4: Zuwijo</u><br/>

Zuwijo draws "Eclipse", "Void Reactive Nova", "Voidvelgr Morgenstein", "Requiem" and "Voidvelgr Gravidios". Zuwijo Normal Summons "Gravidios" (0/400). Zuwijo activates the effect of "Gravidios", sending all monsters from his field and his entire hand to the Graveyard to draw cards equal to the number of cards sent from his hand to the Graveyard this way, but he cannot Normal Summon/Set monsters from his hand until the end of this turn. Zuwijo sends "Gravidios" from his field and "Eclipse", "Void Reactive Nova", "Voidvelgr Morgenstein" and "Requiem" from his hand to the Graveyard and draws "Dark Hole", "Galaxy Cross", "Dark Prophet" and "Pale Rider". Zuwijo activates his face-down "Fusion". Zuwijo sends "Dark Prophet" and "Pale Rider" from his hand to the Graveyard and Fusion Summons "Voidvelgr Apocalypse" (2500/2000) in Attack Position ("Eternal Galactica Oblivion": 3500/2500 → 4000/2500). Zuwijo activates the effect of "Apocalypse", sending a card from his hand to the Graveyard to increase its ATK by 1000 and prevent it from being destroyed by card effects until the end of this turn, then if he activated this effect during the Main Phase that he Special Summoned it, he can add a "Dark Hole" from his Graveyard to his hand. Zuwijo sends "Dark Hole" from his hand to the Graveyard ("Apocalypse": 2500/2000 → 3500/2000), then adds "Dark Hole" from his Graveyard to his hand. Zuwijo activates the Spell Card "Dark Hole" to destroy all monsters on the field. Zuwijo tries to destroy "Apocalypse" and "Eternal Galactica Oblivion", but due to its effect and the effect of "Galactica Providence" respectively, they are not destroyed. As Zuwijo activated "Dark Hole" this turn, he activates his face-down Spell Card "Dark Hole Paradox" to excavate the top four cards of his Deck, and he can add one excavated card to his hand, and he places the remaining cards on either the top or bottom of his Deck in any order. Zuwijo excavates "Dark Hole Saucer", "Voidvelgr Hecatoncheir", "Voidvelgr Elysium" and "Voidvelgr Globule" from the top of his Deck, adds "Dark Hole Saucer" to his hand and places "Hecatoncheir", "Elysium" and "Globule" on the top of his Deck. Zuwijo activates the Equip Spell Card "Dark Hole Saucer", equipping it to a face-up DARK Attribute Galaxy Type monster on his field to prevent it from being destroyed by Spell Card effects, and if he has "Dark Hole" in his Graveyard, it gains ATK equal to its original ATK. Zuwijo equips "Dark Hole Saucer" to "Apocalypse" ("Apocalypse": 3500/2000 → 6000/2000). Zuwijo Sets "Galaxy Cross" in his Spell & Trap Zone. "Apocalypse" attacks "Eternal Galactica Oblivion". As Zuwijo's monster declared an attack, Yudias activates his face-down Trap Card "Galaxy Cross" to destroy all face-up Spell Cards on the field, then he can Special Summon a Level 7 or 8 Galaxy Type monster from his Graveyard face-up to his field, and this turn Zuwijo's monsters that can attack must attack and all face-up monsters on Yudias's field gain ATK equal to the number of cards destroyed this way x 1000. Yudias destroys "Galactica Providence", "Galactica Fusion Space" and "Dark Hole Saucer" ("Eternal Galactica Oblivion": 4000/2500 → 3500/2500 → 6500/2500; "Apocalypse": 6000/2500 → 3500/2000). As Zuwijo's Spell Card was destroyed by Yudias's card effect, Zuwijo activates his face-down Trap Card "Void Mana Strategy" to increase the ATK of a face-up DARK Attribute Galaxy Type monster on his field by the number of Spell Cards in his Graveyard x 500 until the end of this turn, then he gains LP equal to the number of Spell Cards in his Graveyard x 100. Zuwijo chooses "Apocalypse" ("Apocalypse": 3500/2000 → 7500/2000; Zuwijo: 2500 → 3300 LP). The attack continues and "Eternal Galactica Oblivion" is destroyed (Yudias: 2000 → 1000 LP). As Zuwijo ends his turn, the ATK of "Apocalypse" returns to normal ("Apocalypse": 7500/2000 → 2500/2000).

Yudias Normal Summons "Strange Traveler" (1100/200) and "Vortex Shooter" (1400/1000). As Yudias has a face-up Galaxy Type Normal Monster on his field, he activates the effect of "Strange Traveler", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to decrease the ATK of a face-up monster on Zuwijo's field by 500 until the end of this turn. Yudias sends "Galactica Amnesia" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard and chooses "Apocalypse" ("Apocalypse": 2500/2000 → 2000/2000). Yudias Tributes "Strange Traveler" and "Vortex Shooter" to Tribute Summon "Oblivion" (2500/2500). Yudias activates the Spell Card "Galactica Dispersion", shuffling four Galaxy Type monsters from his Graveyard into the Deck to reduce the Level of a face-up monster on Zuwijo's field by 2 until the end of this turn, then Yudias can allow a face-up Galaxy Type Normal Monster on his field to attack twice during this turn. Yudias shuffles "Strange Traveler", "Vortex Shooter", "Amnesia" and "Interstellime" from his Graveyard into the Deck and chooses "Apocalypse" ("Apocalypse": Level 9 → 7), then chooses "Oblivion". As Zuwijo has a face-up Level 7 or 8 monster on his field, Yudias activates the Equip Spell Card "Galactica Xiphos", equipping it to a face-up Galaxy Type monster on his field to increase its ATK by the number of face-up Normal Monsters on his field x 300, and if it is "Oblivion", it gains additional 1000 ATK. Yudias equips "Galactica Xiphos" to "Oblivion" ("Oblivion": 2500/2500 → 2800/2500 → 3800/2500). "Oblivion" attacks and destroys "Apocalypse" (Zuwijo: 3300 → 2000 LP), then attacks Zuwijo directly. As Yudias's monster declared an attack, Zuwijo activates his face-down "Galaxy Cross". Zuwijo destroys "Galactica Xiphos", then Special Summons "Requiem" (2500/2000 → 3500/2000) from his Graveyard in Attack Position ("Oblivion": 3800/2500 → 2500/2500). "Extinction" is the ninety-eighth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime. It first aired in Japan on February 25, 2024.

As tragedy is about to strike, Zuwijo feels an uncontrollable urge, as well as joy. The moment he learns what this mysterious emotion is, he decides to challenge Yudias to a Duel. It's a Duel that no one will be able to stop. Zuwijo zir Velgear's final battle will now begin.

Featured Duel: Yudias Velgear vs Zuwijo zir Velgear

The Duel is conducted as a Rush Duel.

Turn 1: Yudias
Yudias's hand contains "Vacua Annihilation", "Greatest Galactica", "Galactiara Eve", "Cosmo Titan" and "Vanishing Heliacal Riser". Yudias Normal Summons "Galactiara Eve" (0/0). As Yudias has no other monsters on his field, he activates the effect of "Galactiara Eve", sending a Galaxy Type monster with 1600 or more ATK from his hand to the Graveyard to send it from his field to the Graveyard and draw a card, then if he has three or less monsters in his Graveyard, he draws a card. Yudias sends "Heliacal Riser" from his hand to the Graveyard, sends "Galactiara Eve" from his field to the Graveyard and draws "Interstellive", then draws "Interstellime". Yudias Normal Summons "Interstellive" (1000/0) and "Interstellime" (1000/0). As Yudias has "Interstellime" face-up on his field, he activates the effect of "Interstellive" to draw a card. Yudias draws "Galactica Progress". Yudias Tributes "Interstellive" and "Interstellime" to Tribute Summon "Cosmo Titan" (2300/1800). As Yudias has a face-up Level 5 or higher Galaxy Type Normal Monster on his field, he activates the Spell Card "Galactica Progress" to make both players draw a card, then if he drew a Galaxy Type this way, he can Special Summon it face-up to his field. Zuwijo draws "Dark Hole Paradox" while Yudias draws "Galactica Oblivion", then he Special Summons "Oblivion" (2500/2500) from his hand in Attack Position. Yudias activates the Field Spell Card "Greatest Galactica" to increase the ATK of face-up Galaxy Type Normal Monsters on the field by 500 while it is face-up in the Field Zone ("Oblivion": 2500/2500 → 3000/2500; "Cosmo Titan": 2300/1800 → 2800/1800). Yudias Sets "Vacua Annihilation" in his Spell & Trap Zone.

Turn 2: Zuwijo
Zuwijo's hand contains "Dark Hole Paradox", "Voidvelgr Transition", "Void Dust Fusion", "Voidvelgr Pale Rider", "Voidvelgr Chrysaor" and "Voidvelgr Requiem". Zuwijo activates the Spell Card "Voidvelgr Transition", sending a number of cards from his hand to the Graveyard equal to the number of face-up cards on Yudias's field, including a DARK Attribute Galaxy Type monster, to draw cards equal to the number of cards sent to the Graveyard this way. Zuwijo sends "Pale Rider", "Chrysaor" and "Requiem" from his hand to the Graveyard and draws "Fusion", "Voidvelgr Hoplites" and "Void Mana Strategy". Zuwijo activates the Spell Card "Void Dust Fusion", shuffling a DARK Attribute Galaxy Type Normal Monster from his Graveyard into the Deck to Fusion Summon a DARK Attribute Galaxy Type monster by shuffling DARK Attribute Galaxy Type monsters from his Graveyard into the Deck as material, but he can only attack with it this turn. Zuwijo shuffles "Pale Rider" from his Graveyard into the Deck, shuffles "Requiem" and "Chrysaor" from his Graveyard into the Deck and Fusion Summons "Voidvelgr Gigantomachia" (3400/2500) in Attack Position. Zuwijo activates the effect of "Gigantomachia", sending a card from his hand to the Graveyard to destroy a Spell/Trap Card on the field, then this turn he increases its ATK by 500 and allows it to attack twice. Zuwijo sends "Hoplites" from his hand to the Graveyard and destroys Yudias's face-down "Vacua Annihilation" ("Gigantomachia": 3400/2500 → 3900/2500). Zuwijo Sets "Void Mana Strategy", "Fusion" and "Dark Hole Paradox" in his Spell & Trap Zones. "Gigantomachia" attacks and destroys "Cosmo Titan" and "Oblivion" (Yudias: 4000 → 2900 → 2000 LP). As Zuwijo ends his turn, the ATK of "Gigantomachia" returns to normal ("Gigantomachia": 3900/2500 → 3400/2500).

Turn 3: Yudias
Yudias draws "Galaxy Cross", "Galactica Providence", "Fusion", "Galactica Fusion Space" and "Purge & Recovery". Yudias activates the Spell Card "Purge & Recovery", sending a face-up Spell Card from his field to the Graveyard to add Level 5 or higher LIGHT Attribute Galaxy Type monsters from his Graveyard to his hand up to the number of cards in Zuwijo's Spell & Trap Zone. Yudias sends "Greatest Galactica" from his field to the Graveyard and adds "Cosmo Titan", "Heliacal Riser" and "Oblivion" from his Graveyard to his hand. Yudias activates the Field Spell Card "Galactica Fusion Space" to allow a player to use monsters in their hand as material if they Fusion Summon a Galaxy Type monster by the effect of "Fusion" while it is face-up in the Field Zone. Yudias activates the Spell Card "Fusion" to Fusion Summon by sending face-up monsters from his field to the Graveyard as material. Yudias sends "Oblivion", "Heliacal Riser" and "Cosmo Titan" from his hand to the Graveyard and Fusion Summons "Eternal Galactica Oblivion" (3500/2500) in Attack Position. Yudias activates the Equip Spell Card "Galactica Providence", equipping it to a face-up Galaxy Type monster on his field to increase its ATK by the number of face-up Level 7 or higher monsters on Zuwijo's field x 500, and if Yudias has three or more Galaxy Type Normal Monsters in his Graveyard, it cannot be destroyed by Zuwijo's card effects. Yudias equips "Galactica Providence" to "Eternal Galactica Oblivion" ("Eternal Galactica Oblivion": 4400/2500 → 4900/2500). Yudias Sets "Galaxy Cross" in his Spell & Trap Zone. "Eternal Galactica Oblivion" attacks and destroys "Gigantomachia" (Zuwijo: 4000 → 2500 LP; "Eternal Galactica Oblivion": 4900/2500 → 4400/2500). As Yudias ends his turn, the attack of "Eternal Galactica Oblivion" returs to normal ("Eternal Galactica Oblivion": 4400/2500 → 3500/2500).

Turn 4: Zuwijo

Turn 5: Yudias
Yudias draws "Galactica Xiphos", "Galactica Dispersion", "Vortex Shooter", "Strange Traveler" and "Oblivion". A replay occurs and "Oblivion" attacks and is destroyed by "Requiem" (Yudias: 1000 → 0 LP).
