About Me
History
I started playing Yu-Gi-Oh! in the early 2000s, with Starter Deck: Joey and I took a break around the middle of the GX Era. I didn't return until early 2015 after discovering that a friend of mine enjoyed the game. I dusted off my old "Toon" deck in Yu-Gi-Oh! The Duelists of the Roses and got excited for Yu-Gi-Oh! again.
I had a lot of learning to do, Synchro, Xyz and Pendulum summonings were all alien to me. So I read the rule book and looked for how to play Yu-Gi-Oh! online and found Dueling Network. I challenged my friend... and was curve stomped by his "Blackwing" deck... I was not discouraged and desired to improve my skill and decks through practice, various YugiTubers and the Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia.
When I found out that the "Toon" archetype was getting support in Dragons of Legend 2 I was stoked! It became the first box of cards I bought myself... And I didn't get a single "Toon Kingdom"!
After moving on from DN to YGOPRO: Dawn of a New Era, after a duel one of the users picked up a conversation with me, in the end they recommended watching the ARC-V anime, which I enjoyed a lot. After seeing Sora's "Fluffal"/"Frightfur" deck I knew I had to build it, as they matched my ideal deck style so perfectly.
