Hello, I'm GoldenDragonRider (or GDR for short) and welcome to my user page of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia. Here you will find information regarding my activities around this wiki and information about me as a Duelist. If you desire to communicate anything with me, head to my talk page. As I said before my signature deck is my "Fluffal" deck. Aside from that I play "Predaplant", "Red-Eyes" and "Toon" decks in real life.
When it comes to dueling online I use just about anything, but mainly prefer archetypes that appear in the anime.

I started playing Yu-Gi-Oh! in the early 2000s, with Starter Deck: Joey and I took a break around the middle of the GX Era. I didn't return until early 2015 after discovering that a friend of mine enjoyed the game. I dusted off my old "Toon" deck in Yu-Gi-Oh! The Duelists of the Roses and got excited for Yu-Gi-Oh! again.
I had a lot of learning to do, Synchro, Xyz and Pendulum Summonings were all alien to me. So I read the rule book and looked for how to play Yu-Gi-Oh! online and found Dueling Network. I challenged my friend... and was curve stomped by his "Blackwing" deck... I was not discouraged and desired to improve my skill and decks through practice, various YugiTubers and the Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia.
When I found out that the "Toon" archetype was getting support in Dragons of Legend 2 I was stoked! It became the first box of cards I bought myself... And I didn't get a single "Toon Kingdom"!
After moving on from DN to YGOPRO: Dawn of a New Era, after a duel one of the users picked up a conversation with me, in the end they recommended watching the ARC-V anime, which I enjoyed a lot. After seeing Sora's "Fluffal"/"Frightfur" deck I knew I had to build it, as they matched my ideal deck style so perfectly. Since then my "Fluffal" deck has become my signature deck, over taking even my beloved "Toon" monsters.

Originally I joined Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia back in mid 2015, and I contributed there on and off over 2 and a half years. In late 2017, a discussion to fork the wiki over to here was made, as many of us users were becoming fed up with some of the choices Fandom was making and how it affected our wiki, so we left and came here. Like my peers here, I strive to present the most well presented and comprehensive information for all the Yu-Gi-Oh! community to enjoy and learn from.
My edits are usually centered around archetypes, trivia pages and general fixes/clean-ups. Recently I have started adding OCG Rulings to various card pages from the Official Database. Other times I police for vandalism/incorrect information as a time filler by poking around unfamiliar users in the recent activity feed.
