I'm not a huge of a Yu-Gi-Oh! fan, actually, as many of the characters annoy me quite a bit. I do have a soft spot for the monsters, though, and that's my specialty, tracking down missing monster images.

Unique(?) beliefs

• I believe that Jaden is less of a lucksack than Yugi was.
• My favorite character is Pegasus.
• Apart from Pegasus, Gagagigo is the most sympathetic character in all YGO media.
• Now that we know they have wills of their own, the Duel Monsters should leave their lives of being bossed around by kids with stupid hair and form an awful comedy club... or something...

Ruined FOREVER

Multi-billion dollar franchises based on card games are surprisingly fragile. The fans realize what Konami does not, and that is, that YGO sits on a precipice. One tip in the wrong direction and YGO could be Ruined FOREVER. This has apparently happened several times.

Interesting stuff

• Okay, everyone knows this one. Dark King of the Abyss is stated to have once been ruler of darkness. Who rules darkness now? Dark Ruler Ha Des. He fought and defeated DKotA in a battle, though DKotA came back with a Hate Buster and blew Ha Des to high Heaven (Hell?). He got better.
• Skull Archfiend of Lightning is purple. Seriously. That's how you can tell him apart from Summoned Skull.
• The Megamorph symbol seems to relate to Summoning somehow. It's around Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner's hands, on Herald of Creation, and many others. Dark Magician and his ilk seem to relate to it, as well.
• Monsters LOD-017 through LOD-026 are often seen fighting along side each other. I'd reckon they're in the same army. Who commands it? Quite possibly, Freed, who is LOD-016 and thus comes immediately before them.
• The foes of the above army may be the D.D. monsters. Note how often they, especially Warrior Dai Grepher, are seen fighting the D.D.s.
• Gagagigo, Marauding Captain, Blazing Inpachi, and Invader of Darkness may come from the same dimension as the D.D.s, as Gagagigo met a younger Freed at the barrier between the two dimensions.
• Also, the only Gagagigo form capable of defeating Invader of Darkness? Gogiga Gagagigo, who is too twisted to care anymore.
• Another interesting continuity bit: remember this king? Well, he has a bit of a story, too. In his youth, he built an army. He made assorted laws and built large forts, though his reign didn't last. I can do you one better, though. Notice his soldiers? Don't you remember them oppressing the commoners? Also, the people storming the castle on Royal Surrender have been seen at least once before. That's right, Mr. Fortress-Building-King here was overthrown in the Huge Revolution!
• Ally Mind's flavor text hints at some sort of rivalry between the Allies of Justice and the Worms.
• Concerning cybernetics in the Duel Monster world: Kozaky seems to be the go-to guy, upgrading both Gagagigo and Inpachi. Some very Kozaky-ish technology is also seen upgrading Cyber Dragon. As both Kozaky and Machine King are known to be from the Dark World, the possibility that the former upgraded the latter cannot be ruled out.
• Based on the anime and the cards, we know ten of the eleven (the twelfth is our universe) Duel Spirit Dimensions.
  • The place where the Legendary Dragons are. (This one appears to be the realm of Fairys. Dark Magician Girl is from here. Kaibaman may be as well; many inhabitants of this dimension are seen cheering him on in GX. As of 5D's, it seems likely that this dimension is the Ancient Forest; very possible, as until then we have only seen interiors.)
  • The vast desert. (The Rock Spirit, Sand Moth, Sand Stone, and the Three Masked Knights live here)
  • Neo Space (The Neo-Spacians, Yubel, and quite probably her other forms are from here. This is also the dimension most in danger from the Light of Destruction.)
  • The Dark World. (Freed, Rahz, the Dark Worldies, most Fiends, Total Defense Shogun, Harpie's Brother, various low level monsters, and quite possibly Freed's above-mentioned army are from here.)
  • A bleak, rocky dimension that resembles The World That Never Was from Kingdom Hearts. (Yubel has a castle here. Exodia is from here, and perhaps the Sacred Beasts. This may be the realm of "legendary" monsters.)
  • The Different Dimension. (Not in the anime. The D.D.s, Gagagigo, his bunch, and possibly the Charmers are from here.)
  • Zombie World.
  • Otherworld - The "A" Zone. Home to the Aliens, and likely the Worms and most of Depre Scott's cards.
  • This one may be grasping at straws, but The Sanctuary in the Sky doesn't seem to fit in any of the above, therefore, it must exist in another, home to the Archlords and Synthetic Angels. Based on the architecture and general atmosphere, Realm of Light is also in this dimension, and thus it is home to the Lightsworns. One other monster that meets the qualifications for inhabiting here, is Shinato, King of a Higher Plane. Assuming he is the ruler, this dimension may be called the Higher Plane.
  • Upon closer examination, the Verdant Sanctuary seems to be one as well, home to the Insects (and Plants?).
  • And for conjecture's sake, I'd imagine that the last remaining dimension would be a vast sea. Perhaps it's called Water World?
