  • Cursed Bamboo Sword: Specifies "Bamboo Sword" card, but the only cards that can be searched are all Spell Cards.
  • Abyss Script - Abysstainment: Specifies "Abyss Actor" Pendulum Monsters, but there are no "Abyss Actor" monsters that aren't Pendulum Monsters.
    • Especially relevant since this card fetches the monsters from the Main Deck, so there aren't any "Extra Deck" excuses.
  • Atlantean Marksman: Specifies "Atlantean" Sea Serpent-Type monster, but all "Atlantean" monsters are Sea Serpent-Type.
    • Especially relevant since this card fetches the monsters from the Deck, making Type-changing shenanigans irrelevant.
  • "Nekroz" Ritual Spell Cards: Each has an effect that specifies "Nekroz" Spell Card, but the only Spell Cards that can be searched are all Ritual Spells.
  • Nopenguin: Specifies "Penguin" card, but there are no "Penguin" Spell/Trap Cards.
  • Dark Magic Inheritance: Specifies 1 Spell/Trap Card... that specifically lists the card "Dark Magician" or "Dark Magician Girl" in its text, but all the Spell/Trap Cards that specifically list the card "Dark Magician Girl" also specifically list the card "Dark Magician", making the 'or' conjunction redundant (for now).
  • Nimble Beaver: Specifies 1 Level 3 or lower "Nimble" monster, but there are no Level 3 "Nimble" monsters (only a Level 4 "Nimble" monster).

OCG/TCG differences: "Toon Mermaid", "Vijam the Cubic Seed" (vs. "Skill Drain"), "Toon Gemini Elf" (optional effect), "Magical Labyrinth" (both cards Tributed), "Brilliant Fusion" (ATK-loss and destruction unaffected by Lance), "Gemini Booster" (can activate even if equipped monster leaves the field), "Power Wall" (vs. "Apprentice Illusion Magician"), "Flower Cardian Pine with Crane" (last effect optional), "Precious Cards from Beyond" & "Intercept" (activates when only monsters are Tributed), "White Wing Magician" (optional vs. mandatory)

"Victory Viper XX03" ('if this card is no longer face-up in the Monster Zone'... though there's no official source for what happens if it becomes an Equip Card)

This page is a list of all foreign-language cards that appear to have a mistake in their name (possibly due to how they were inputted on the Konami Card Database). They should only be listed here if there is no existing card image on this Wiki to support their name.
If there is confirmation (via an actual card image on this Wiki) that one of these names is real, feel free to remove its entry here.
