Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel is a free-to-play multiplayer game where players can either duel against other players or play a singleplayer mode. Player can obtain cards via spending Gems on pack openings or crafting specific card(s) using Craft Points based on its rarity. The game uses a modified OCG Forbidden & Limited List that will be updated with each updates. Forbidden/Limited list

The game's banlist, at initial release, was a variant of the April 2021 OCG Lists to match the availability of cards at the time.

Banlist changes in this game are more frequent than the physical game, and different cards get affected to account for the game's best-of-1 format and staggered card release schedule. For instance, cards can become unbanned to coincide with an expansion that introduces them, and known powerful cards can be preemptively restricted the moment they debut in this game.
