Welcome
Hello, I'm Tyrant Slayer. Welcome to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia, if you have any questions you can ask me and I'll be glad to help you. --Dragon Slayer 20:54, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
- Hello, Tyrant Slayer. I'm Dinoguy1000, and I'm happy to meet you. I don't expect to have many questions about the wiki software, since I'm well-versed in it already, but I may have questions about policy and whatnot specific to the Yu-Gi-Oh! wiki. --Dinoguy1000 21:18, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, if you have any problems and I cannot help you ask to this guy: User:Deltaneos, he is always willing to help and can answer most of your questions. --Dragon Slayer 02:48, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
Card Table
Thanks for your additions to Card Table template. -- Deltaneos 01:41, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
Deletion of Category:Miscellaneous redirects and Template:Unsorted r
Why did you delete Category:Miscellaneous Redirects and Template:Unsorted r? I'm not necessarily contesting the deletions, but a heads-up or a good reason would have been nice... --Dinoguy1000 18:57, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- Was there any use for it? Was it being used? -- Huajun Chen 20:39, 13 November 2007 (UTC) Copied from User talk:Dinoguy1000#Deletion
--Dinoguy1000 17:14, 14 November 2007 (UTC)- Well, they weren't being used ATM, but they were based off of Wikipedia's own redirect sorting system (unless I'm sadly mistaken, of which there's actually a pretty good chance). In any case, why not just put {{delete}} on them first, instead of just deleting them? --Dinoguy1000 17:14, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- It's what I do, lulz. -- Huajun Chen 22:08, 14 November 2007 (UTC)Copied from User talk:Dinoguy1000#Deletion (again) (please, read my talk page policy next time...)
--Dinoguy1000 18:19, 15 November 2007 (UTC)- Meh, whateverz... At least, give me a heads up next time, though... --Dinoguy1000 18:19, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
- We'll see. Also: there's no need to copy-and-paste what I wrote on your User Talk back onto my talk page. If you want to, sure go ahead, but it's not required or anything. -- Huajun Chen 01:28, 16 November 2007 (UTC) Copied from User talk:Dinoguy1000#Deletion

subst
I don't know if you this or not but using {{subst:User:Dinoguy1000/ctp}} instead of {{User:Dinoguy1000/ctp}} will embed the code directly instead of leaving it as a template. It might be better to use to use this in case User:Dinoguy1000/ctp is vandalised or deleted or if you change the input parameters. -- Deltaneos 18:33, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, I knew about substitution, I'm also aware of the possibility of vandalism (although any damage inflicted by vandalism *should* be contained to user talk pages, and on top of that, I'm prepared to take full responsibility should any real problems occur via vandalism of the template). As for deletion, I see little reason for that to occur, since it's in my userspace. And lastly, if I should ever change the parameters, I'd make sure to leave the originals in as a fallback until I could update all the references. If you still have concerns about transcluding versus substituting the template, feel free to say them to me, I'm all ears... ;-) --Dinoguy1000 17:23, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
