Dark Tuner MonstersEdit

Can you tell from "Freezing Fitzgerald's" Japanese text, or anywhere else, is Dark Tuner considered a Monster Type, like Tuner and Toon? Or are they simply regular Tuner Monsters, with "Dark Synchro" in their names? -- Deltaneos (talk) 17:04, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

Thank you. Yes please, upload the small image, if you have it. -- Deltaneos (talk) 11:25, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

Carrie's cardEdit

Can I ask a favour? Could you translate or reproduce the Japanese text on this (00:37, 4 October 2008 version) please? -- Deltaneos (talk) 11:39, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Thanks again. You're a star. -- Deltaneos (talk) 11:56, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Could you try to translate her Earth card seen just this past episode? Rodtheanimegod4ever 22:52, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

Card nameEdit

Can you translate the name of the card Ruka given to Michel at the end of episode 70? Its name isn't mentioned in the anime, but I have a picture of it which its name is shown clearly here. Just want to make sure before I uploaded it to wikia. --Blackwings0605 14:34, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

KokiEdit

Which of these is the correct English rendering of "屑山鋼城"; "Kouki Kuzuyama" or "Koki Kuzuyama"? I notice you've changed it from Goki to Koki and Kouki to Koki before, but it's been undone both times... by the same user. I trust your translations, so could you let me know if you're positive about this one? And I'll see about moving it back to "Koki" if that's the right one. -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:07, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

New Tag Force 4 charactersEdit

Hi III. Could you tell me the names of these characters? Thank you. -- Deltaneos (talk) 23:01, September 19, 2009 (UTC)

Just to check that I understood that right. Disa and Noriko Ishihara are the same character; She just has different names in the English and Japanese version? (If so, she looks quite different in Tag Force 4 from in Tag Force 2.) -- Deltaneos (talk) 22:35, September 20, 2009 (UTC)

Ride 3 cardsEdit

Thanks for the Japanese names and texts for the new 5D's manga cards. Here's another 2 cards from the chapter. Could you add them too? Thanks. -- Deltaneos (talk) 20:59, October 21, 2009 (UTC)

where you get images for DT08?

Fairy ArcherEdit

  • The reason I switched the "japanimelore" to "jplore" is because despite what the card says in the anime (which has an effect connected to the Graveyard, although I can't read it without help), it is shown to do something different. Danny Lilithborne 17:10, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

Giant S...Edit

Do you know what the name of this card from Duel 9 of the manga is? In the English manga, it's called "Giant S..." and the end is cut off. -- Deltaneos (talk) 01:34, November 27, 2009 (UTC)

Thank you. This is the English one. The letter after "S" doesn't seem to be a "T". I guess they just gave it a different name in the English than the Japanese (or mistook it for "Giant Soldier of Stone"). -- Deltaneos (talk) 15:04, November 27, 2009 (UTC)

Nathan and Takashi NakamotoEdit

Do you know if Nathan and Takashi Nakamoto are the same character? -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:40, January 14, 2010 (UTC)

could you add the ruby names of the other batterymen? --hanmac 07:49, January 22, 2010 (UTC)

Kimi Shiromi and EmmaEdit

Do you know if Kimi Shiromi and Emma are the same character? -- Deltaneos (talk) 17:32, January 28, 2010 (UTC)

Nevermind, apart from looking the same, they both use "Genex" cards. I think they're the same person. -- Deltaneos (talk) 17:35, January 28, 2010 (UTC)

Tag Force 4 charactersEdit

I've looked through all the Tag Force 4 characters are Rie and Nathan are definitly Peta Kelvin and Takashi Nakamoto. (You can see a list of all the characters with their English names here.) You've already called them Rie Yamatani and Yasuo Kawasaki. Could Rie Yamatani and Yasuo Kawasaki be seperate characters or do Rie and Nathan have two Japanese version names like how Bivin is both Takeshi Kameta and Slider Kameta? -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:14, January 29, 2010 (UTC)

Oh cool, thanks. So characters like "Takafumi Kai" and "Senshi Teshima" are originally different characters in the Japanese version, but in the English they changed both of them to Walter (and the same with other characters)? -- Deltaneos (talk) 10:00, January 29, 2010 (UTC)
Are you okay with us using the Japanese version names for those 19 characters' articles? e.g. Yasuto Suzuki And treating the characters like Hose as not appearing in the game, but still mentioning that their name was used? I've altered the list of characters to reflect that here.
P.S. Thanks for all the work you've been doing on this. You've been a huge help. -- Deltaneos (talk) 13:30, January 29, 2010 (UTC)

Is it possible that Alice's (安田宇里亜, Uria Yasuda) Japanese name is "Alice Yasuda", rather than "Uria Yasuda"? Her Deck name is "ふしぎの国のウリア" (Uria in Wonderland?). Would it make more sense if they were both "Alice" instead of "Uria", since there's a book called Alice in Wonderland? -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:30, February 17, 2010 (UTC)

エイキーEdit

Is "エイキー" the actual name of this character? And what would be the English translation? -- Deltaneos (talk) 01:54, February 3, 2010 (UTC)

Manga release datesEdit

Hi III. You don't happen to know where we could find the Japanese release dates for chapters of the original Yu-Gi-Oh! manga? -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:21, February 28, 2010 (UTC)

The Supreme KingEdit

I have a question about The Supreme King's Japanese name. I ran the kanji through a translator, separately, and got Supremacy and King, and then put them together and got Haoh, so I'm wondering if Haou/Haoh is actually just the Japanese word for Supreme King, in which case his page should be edited accordingly, but I don't know a thing about kanji so it could, as Deltaneos already suggested to me, be that Haou was named Haou because he's the Supreme King. Any chance that you can help me out with this? --Blackstone Dresden 21:45, March 5, 2010 (UTC)

Alright, thank you, I'll update the page later today. --Blackstone Dresden 07:20, March 6, 2010 (UTC)

Monster Capsule Breed & BattleEdit

Could you help me with the CapMon pieces from the video game Yu-Gi-Oh! Monster Capsule Breed & Battle? I would like to know what type of statistics they have. (i.e. what they use instead of ATK, DEF, Type etc.) So we can add them to {{CardTable2}}, so we can make articles for them. If you could translate or reproduce the text on one one of them, for example this one, I should be able to handle it from there. The rest are in Van Ludwig's sandbox, if you want to take a look. -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:18, March 8, 2010 (UTC)

Awesome. Thanks again. CardTable2 is set-up for these guys now. You can see how it works on the Love Child article. (Although I think I've messed-up some of the English translations.) -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:27, March 9, 2010 (UTC)

Love ChildEdit

Is "Love Child" really a valid translation for "ラブチャン" or should it be "Love Chan"? Love child seems like an odd choice, since in English "love child" is a less offensive term for someone who was born to unmarried parents. -- Deltaneos (talk) 09:19, March 18, 2010 (UTC)

Slowdown TrapEdit

Can you add the Japanese name and lore of that card? OMG! You did it 01:42, April 25, 2010 (UTC)

Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's volume 1Edit

Do you know how many chapters are in the first volume of the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's manga? -- Deltaneos (talk) 11:53, May 7, 2010 (UTC)

Yusei GoEdit

When was Yusei's Duel Runner named? Another user seems to think that Yusei Go was just the name of the toy. -- Deltaneos (talk) 09:32, May 12, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks again. -- Deltaneos (talk) 11:39, May 12, 2010 (UTC)

Featured cards for GX episodes 148-151Edit

The subbed episodes I've found don't have the cards you've listed at the end of them. All three episodes have an advertisement for what I presume is a contest to win "Yubel", "Elemental Hero Storm Neos" and "Rainbow Dark Dragon" instead. Did the subs I watched cut off before the strongest card was shown? Cheesedude 13:23, May 14, 2010 (UTC)

Alright then. In that case, thanks for adding them, as I'd have never checked that site. Cheesedude 19:22, May 14, 2010 (UTC)

福田日里Edit

Can you read the name of this person in English? She's the seiyu for Haruka and Annie (Greiger's elder sister) --Blackwings0605 13:22, May 17, 2010 (UTC)

Sect's full nameEdit

Is Sect's full name said here? If so, could you add it to his page? Thanks. -- Deltaneos (talk) 20:03, May 22, 2010 (UTC)

Seven Sword WarriorEdit

Could you add "Seven Sword Warrior's" Japanese manga lore? He seems to have different effects in the manga and OCG. -- Deltaneos (talk) 14:10, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

V Jump cosplayersEdit

Hi III. Do you read V Jump? There's a girl who cosplays as Carly in it. You can see pictures of her in http://yumeoidaku.info/Cards/7-10/DT02.jpg to 8.jpg. Do you know her name? And do you know if she is considered part of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5C's?

And do you know if Senjome, Shironosu, Emperor.Umiuma, Inoso, Mokuma and Sanzyudai Yuki are from something similar to Yu-Gi-Oh! 5C's? -- Deltaneos (talk) 16:48, June 3, 2010 (UTC)

Larry/Lenny in TF04Edit

Do you know what name this character uses in the Japanese version of Tag Force 4? In the English version, they call him Lenny, even though he's called Larry elsewhere. -- Deltaneos (talk) 02:47, June 20, 2010 (UTC)

Duel Transer charactersEdit

Can you get the names of the new character seen here? Is Surtr a correct romanisation of "スルト"? Thank you. -- Deltaneos (talk) 01:09, July 7, 2010 (UTC)

Ride 12 cardEdit

The usual. Can you translate this card's name: File:?????-JP-Manga-5D.jpg? Thank you. -- Deltaneos (talk) 17:19, July 25, 2010 (UTC)

It's okay. She's "Rose Lover". -- Deltaneos (talk) 23:43, July 25, 2010 (UTC)

Name meanings/originsEdit

Do you know if any of these make sense and are they even worth mentioning? "The Sixteen Day Old Moon in Autumn" (十六夜アキ), "Soar · Perfect Wisteria" (丸藤翔), "Excellent · Perfect Wisteria" (丸藤亮), "bud/sprout-reliant/life/clothing" (May/Mei), "Bell/lovely" (レイ). -- Deltaneos (talk) 02:22, August 10, 2010 (UTC)

Aikawa in Tag Force 5Edit

According to this page someone called Sergeant Aikawa (サージャント 相川(あいかわ)) appears in Tag Force 5. Do you know if he's the same person as Aikawa (アイカワ)? They have the same Deck type, but one spells his name in katakana, while the other uses kanji with hiragana furigana. -- Deltaneos (talk) 14:45, September 17, 2010 (UTC)

Tag Force 5 opponentsEdit

Do you know where I can find the Tag Force 5 opponents listed by their numbers? So we can go ahead with making the Tag Force 5 version of Portal:Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Tag Force 4 characters. -- Deltaneos (talk) 22:40, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

Affro guy's nameEdit

Can you get the name of Kiryu's opponent please? -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:39, September 29, 2010 (UTC)

Red NovaEdit

Can you tell me why you added Red Nova to the Jack Atlas' decklist in season 2. Speed Warrior (talkcontribs) 11:49, October 13, 2010 (UTC)

Fullwidth spaceEdit

Is it preferred to use fullwidth or halfwidth spaces in Japanese names? e.g. "ライトロード・ビースト ウォルフ" or "ライトロード・ビースト ウォルフ". -- Deltaneos (talk) 20:47, October 19, 2010 (UTC)

Cool. Thank you. -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:19, October 19, 2010 (UTC)

SoranoEdit

If the proper translation is "Daigo" as opposed to "Taigo", then shouldn't the page be moved and a redirect left behind? I can't read Japanese, but most translations do seem to use "Taigo". Not saying you're wrong, I really have no idea. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 01:34, October 23, 2010 (UTC)

ShE:SideEdit

From this image, it seems that Seaside Muramoto's first name is intended to be romanised as "ShE:Side". I don't know what the full sentence there means. Can you have a look? And let me know if you think we should move the page. -- Deltaneos (talk) 13:39, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Sadie/SeikoEdit

Was her name ever given in the Japanese version of the anime, to your knowledge? I know that the name was never used in the English version, so I wanted to add that the names originated in the video games and wanted to make sure I was correct in that regard. Thanks. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 01:07, November 11, 2010 (UTC)

Interesting. I'll go ahead and check the dub credits as well. Thanks. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 01:38, November 11, 2010 (UTC)

Crow's friendsEdit

I think I've made a mistake.

After looking at the cast, Ginger (ギンガ) and Taiga (タイガ) seem to be the names of these two characters: this girl and this spiky haired boy. Annie (アニー) from WC10 looks like Ginger, but must be a different character.

Do you know if this is true? -- Deltaneos (talk) 19:06, December 11, 2010 (UTC)

You can ignore the above message. Ginga (ギンガ) and Taiga (タイガ) seem to be the two boys at the front of the bus. Which is which, I don't know. -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:05, December 11, 2010 (UTC)
Ginga (ギンガ), Taiga (タイガ), Daichi (ダイチ), Hikari (ヒカリ) and Kokoro (ココロ) are the five children Crow looked after. Do you know which one is which? -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:12, December 11, 2010 (UTC)
Thank you very much. You're a great help, yet again. -- Deltaneos (talk) 23:44, December 12, 2010 (UTC)

Majin no OtoshianaEdit

For "魔人の落とし穴" (Majin no Otoshiana) and the other "Pitfall"/"Trap Hole" cards, do you know is "Majin Pitfall", "Pitfall of Majin" or something else more correct for the Japanese translated name (|trans = )? -- Deltaneos (talk) 15:09, January 7, 2011 (UTC)

Morphtronic LightonEdit

Could you check out this guy's card image and see if you can figure out what his Attack position effect is, or at least part of it? I know there's not a lot there to go on, but could you see what you get regardless? --Blackstone Dresden (talkcontribs) 18:24, January 8, 2011 (UTC)

It's not possible, it's at least covered or too small to read. I am sorry, all we can do is to wait till it's official revealing. --FredCat Ta.P.F.P.J.R.W.S.Th.P.S.C. 18:27, January 8, 2011 (UTC)

Atmosphere ForeverEdit

Could you please clarify what 大気万世 translates too? I've seen it translated as "Atmosphere Forever" in several places. Despite this, the card page lists it as translating to "Million King Air". I suspect that it's either vandalism, or something that Fubuki said during the chapter on the page he played the card that was mistaken for the card name by whoever added the "trans" parameter. I could be completely wrong (in which case the page should probably be moved to "Million King Air"), but I can't read Japanese. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 19:38, January 26, 2011 (UTC)

Episode staffEdit

Am I getting the jobs in the staff part of episode infoboxes right, do you know?

Take Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's - Episode 144 for example:

Our version Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Janime
Toshifumi Kawase Writer 脚本 (Screenplay) Script writer
Yoshinobu Norimoto Director 演出 (Director) Director
Shogo Komoto Animation director 絵コンテ (Storyboard) Animation film
Masahiro Sekiguchi Picture supervisor 作画監督 (Animation director) Picture supervision

I'm unsure, but I think the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World version is correct. -- Deltaneos (talk) 23:04, February 2, 2011 (UTC)

Earthquake and tsunamiEdit

I know we don't know each other very well. But if you are living in Japan or have friends/family in Japan, I hope you haven't been affected too badly by the earthquake and tsunami. Good luck. -- Deltaneos (talk) 20:23, March 22, 2011 (UTC)

Confirmation of a few thingsEdit

Do you know of any confirmation for the following facts? I'm quite sure they're true, but I'd like if we could get some solid evidence.

  • Bruno/Antinomy's real name is Johnny and he's a member of Team Delta according to this settei.
  • The following character's D-Wheels have these names:
  • Carly: Giganto R/Minerva
  • Lucciano/Lester: Amber Quetzalcoatl
  • Jose/Jakob: Beast Ring Model
  • Sherry: Sturm und Drang
  • Team Unicorn: Monoceros
  • Nicolas: Deep Fissure Alpha
  • Hermann: Deep Fissure Beta
  • Hans: Deep Fissure Gamma
  • Team Ragnarok: Vahallander

In regards the first one, Katsumi Ono has confirmed that "Z-one" and "Aporia" are codenames, so the same is probably true for "Antinomy" and "Paradox".

I think the D-Wheel names came from V Jump. They might be from more DVD Duel boxes either. -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:47, March 27, 2011 (UTC)

Fund some sources: Sherry's D-Wheel: Katsumi Ono's Twitter, Team Catastrophe and Unicorn's D-Wheels: Duel Box 10. -- Deltaneos (talk) 01:00, March 28, 2011 (UTC)

Zeus BreathEdit

Are "Poseidon Waves" and "Zeus Breath" the same card? Should the first be moved to the second? Or did the anime randomly invent a new card? Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 15:40, April 12, 2011 (UTC)

Golden RuleEdit

A user added a translation to this article a while back, and he was known for adding translations while only translating one kanji at at time. Could you please confirm which translation is correct? I do not feel comfortable removing the translation myself, as I've seen it translated both ways before. Thanks, Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 07:02, May 25, 2011 (UTC)

JessicaEdit

In the first episode of ZEXAL, when Akari is working does she call the person she's talking to Jessica, or is that a mistake unofficial English subtitles made? -- Deltaneos (talk) 23:48, May 29, 2011 (UTC)

Toei episode 2 translationsEdit

Can you read the names on these signs?

-- Deltaneos (talk) 11:36, June 17, 2011 (UTC)

Thank you again. -- Deltaneos (talk) 20:27, June 17, 2011 (UTC)

Haste PostEdit

Don't be so haste about rename with non-source site. Or you will regret it later, we need some good and official site (like Konami's) to get it correct. As one of my quotes I have collecting in my UserPage, "Haste make Waste". --FredCat 20:35, June 20, 2011 (UTC)

Still, Wikipedia is not official site, it can be change often and give you a bad post. So don't! --FredCat 21:31, June 20, 2011 (UTC)

Fairy Dragon Ancient...Edit

Thanks for cover up "Machine Dragon Power Tool" Japan Names, but can you do two for "Fairy Dragon Ancient" or her later re-christian name? --FredCat 22:12, June 23, 2011 (UTC)

J'zEdit

Can you read/translate the Japanese graffiti and signs here. It's all left untranslated in the English manga. -- Deltaneos (talk) 15:02, July 15, 2011 (UTC)

WRGP sponsorsEdit

Would you please take a look at this image and confirm what it says. It's from a poster in episode 98 of 5D's which list the sponsors for the event. I want to confirm that it is indeed what it is. I've heard it mentions numerous companies from throughout YGO as sponsors. I want to add the info to the WRGP article, but want to make it sure it's accurate first. Thanks, Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 16:25, July 22, 2011 (UTC)

Thank you. Could you also provide a translation of the rest of the text (or simply confirm that mentions Senrigan, Garam, Manjoume and Schroeder as sponsors)? Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 04:51, July 27, 2011 (UTC)
Wonderful. Thanks so much. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 05:36, July 27, 2011 (UTC)

OnboroboEdit

I've seen this translated elsewhere as "Rubbishrobo". Is there any validity to that translation? Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 20:38, September 2, 2011 (UTC)

I think the name is a mixture of "onboro" and "robot". "Rubbish" seems to be a somewhat acceptable translation of "onboro", but since its written in katakana (オンボロ), rather than hiragana (おんぼろ), it should be left untranslated in English like "Hikari", "Neko", "Hane" etc. (Light, Cat and Wing). -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:34, September 2, 2011 (UTC)

Character analysis tablesEdit

Can you help with translating or reproducing the Japanese labels used on these tables? -- Deltaneos (talk) 16:52, October 11, 2011 (UTC)

String or Strummin'?Edit

I originally created the article at "Strummin' Fiend Itchy Rhythm" and moved it to "String Fiend Itchy Rhythm" when I saw your edit at the episode page. Then you re-created the first article. Which is correct? I will delete the article that is at the wrong name. Also, would the "Fiend" part of its name be more properly translated as "Majin" or "Demon"? Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 16:00, October 17, 2011 (UTC)

Alright. I've deleted the other article then. What do mean by "Fiend is intact". Are you saying the actual translation is "Fiend"? Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 16:33, October 17, 2011 (UTC)

Magical Dimension?Edit

I am confused if this card is the same as Magical Dimension.

マジカルディメンション is Dimension Magical
ディメンション・マジック is Dimension Magic

The same or different? WinterNightmare (talkcontribs) 23:38, November 2, 2011 (UTC)

How about this card, same thing or different.

Scratch WheelEdit

They both look difficult to fully read, but can you add jpanimelore and jpanimelore2 to "Scratch Wheel" for File:ScratchWheel-JP-Anime-DM-2.png and File:ScratchWheel-JP-Anime-DM.png if possible? -- Deltaneos (talk) 12:37, November 19, 2011 (UTC)

Intruder Alarm - Yellow AlertEdit

Can you add the Japanese lore for "Intruder Alarm - Yellow Alert"? I'd like to see if the "it becomes the new attack target" is meant to be part of the effect, since that line isn't used in the English manga. -- Deltaneos (talk) 23:54, November 30, 2011 (UTC)

Hawk Joe's effectEdit

Do you know if this effect was ever shown? -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:44, December 10, 2011 (UTC)

Mai's suppliesEdit

The Japanese text on the brand names and such here aren't translated in the English manga. Can you help out? -- Deltaneos (talk) 01:12, December 28, 2011 (UTC)

Regarding, User talk:Deltaneos#Mantis and Kamakiri, can you add the Japanese lore to "Mantis Egg" please? -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:41, January 8, 2012 (UTC)

Sumo King DogEdit

Cheesedude told me you are fluent in Japanese; so, could you please check this page? It's about Sumo King Dog's name. Thanks. LegenaryAsariUgetsu (talkcontribs) January 17th, 2012, 19:15 (UTC)

He was the one that moved the article to "Sumo King Dog" in the first place. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 19:56, January 17, 2012 (UTC)

Kuwabara or KuwaharaEdit

There are currently two articles on the same person: Satoshi Kuwabara and Satoshi Kuwahara. Do you know which one has the name right? -- Deltaneos (talk) 22:35, January 23, 2012 (UTC)

SummaryEdit

MangaEdit

Are you interested in the 5D's or ZEXAL's manga? I'm obtaining access to the raw chapters, and if you are interested, I can then upload them to you, so you can helping translating some cards (mainly because Zexal is a lazy manga, and instead of writing the descriptions on the cards, in most cases they are just explained in a dialog, like Number 91's for example). Thanks. LegenaryAsariUgetsu (talkcontribs) February 1st, 2012, 21:05 (UTC)

Bunkoban volume contentsEdit

Do you know which chapters are printed in each volume of the bunkoban? e.g. Volume 1 is chapters 1 to 12. -- Deltaneos (talk) 18:05, March 18, 2012 (UTC)

Magical Erudite Junon Translation HelpEdit

  • 手札の「魔導書」と名のついた魔法カード3枚を相手に見せて発動できる。このカードを手札から特殊召喚する。
This is "Junon"'s summoning requirement, but as you can see, the "revealing" part of the effect and the actual Special Summon are separated by a period. This seems to evidence that "Junon" starts a chain.
  • このカードは「暗黒界の龍神 グラファ」以外の自分フィールド上に表側表示で存在する「暗黒界」と名のついたモンスター1体を手札に戻し、墓地から特殊召喚する事ができる。
This is "Grapha"'s summoning text, and the returning of the "Dark World" monster and his Special Summon is connected by a comma, indicating that this is an Inherent Summon.
On top of these two differences, "Grapha" uses the term "できる" and "Junon" uses the term "する" to reference their summoning. Most Inherent Summon monsters seem to use "できる" while "Dark Simorgh", the only other example of a Trigger Summon monster I can think of ATM also uses "する", like "Junon." I take these two terms to be the OCG equivalent of "by" and "to", respectively.
So, basically, my question is - can you confirm or deny whether or not "Junon" is Inherent or not, or at least whether my theory on dekiru and suru are in/correct? I know this is a lot of information, so I apologize, but thanks in advance.--YamiWheeler (talkcontribs) 23:05, April 16, 2012 (UTC)

I would like your input on thisEdit

Katakana Japanese wordsEdit

When a Japanese word is written in katakana, for the translation (|trans = ...) would you leave it in Japanese or convert it to English? It seems right to leave them in Japanese for some cards like "Fortune-Telling Witch Hikari", "Neko Mane King" and maybe "Hane Kuriboh". Other cards like "Nejimaki Catapult" or "Buriki Archduke" I'm not so sure about. -- Deltaneos (talk) 12:30, June 4, 2012 (UTC)

G5 Duel Puzzle namesEdit

Are you able to find the Japanese names for the Duel Puzzles (D-Tactics) in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 5 Expert 1? Some of the translations we're currently using seem a bit off.

  • "Time to Reborn!" doesn't seem right since it's grammatically incorrect in English and "Reborn" isn't part of the Japanese name for "Monster Reborn".
  • "To Do A Ritual" and "To Fuse Monsters?" seem to be related in which case, it'd make sense for both or neither of them to use the "?". (Also "To Perform a Ritual" would be more standard.)

Thank you very much again. -- Deltaneos (talk) 19:41, July 1, 2012 (UTC)

Otogi girlsEdit

The girls in this picture are credited as Otogi girl 1 (御伽ガールズ1), voiced by Noriko Namiki (並木のり子), Otogi girl 2 (御伽ガールズ2) voiced by Rumi Shishido (宍戸留美) and Otogi girl 3 (御伽ガールズ3) voiced by Yoshiko Iseki (井関佳子). Do you know which girl corresponds to which number? -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:58, October 19, 2012 (UTC)

"Electro-Whip" and "Black Illusion RitualEdit

Hi. Sorry to bother. Could you add the Japanese manga lores for "Electro-Whip" and "Black Illusion Ritual" (File:ElectroWhip-JP-Manga-DM.jpg, File:BlackIllusionRitual-JP-Manga-DM.jpg). -- Deltaneos (talk) 13:38, October 26, 2012 (UTC)

Translation Favors?Edit

Would it be possible for you to create and translate the Japanese anime lore for "Tears of a Mermaid"? Greatly appreciated if you could. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 21:54, November 8, 2012 (UTC)

Sigh... When you come back, would you mind transcribing/translating "Aid to the Doomed"? --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 00:15, November 14, 2012 (UTC)
I would also like to know where you got the Japanese text for "Scrap Fusion" from, as seen in the edit here. If, and when, you do reply, could you leave a message on my talk page. I would appreciate it. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 21:43, December 2, 2012 (UTC)

Forbidden & Limited ListsEdit

Hi, III. We have Forbidden/Limited Lists from 2002 onward, but we're missing 1999-2001. Would you be able to give me a link (Japanese or English, doesn't matter) to information about the missing years from anywhere besides the Japanese wiki? Thanks, Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 12:31, January 13, 2013 (UTC)

More specifically, we have the lists from 2002 onward for North America; we need lists for pretty much everything else - even if it's just to confirm that list X is the same in regions Y and Z. I don't think you'd be able to help with anything beyond Japanese (and maybe other OCG) lists, but feel free to prove me wrong, III. =) ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 12:37, January 13, 2013 (UTC)

Charisma charactersEdit

Hi. Can you tell if the names of all the Charisma characters here are correct; Template:Characters/Charisma? -- Deltaneos (talk) 22:48, February 22, 2013 (UTC)

Yusei doubleEdit

In Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Tag Force 6, in Yusei's third event, there is a second Yusei. (This video at 2:42.)

Is he:

  • Another Z-one?
  • A clone?
  • Something different?

Thanks. -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:29, August 28, 2013 (UTC)

"Flame Swordsman" loreEdit

It's a bit obscured, but do you think you could add the anime lore for "Flame Swordsman"? -- Deltaneos (talk) 14:26, September 19, 2013 (UTC)

ShieldsEdit

Do you know what these cards are? Who made them? How did people get them?

We have them listed as a type of Bandai card, but some of them have different ATK, DEF and Levels than the Bandai cards. (The red and blue lines at the sides seem to represent ATK and DEF.) -- Deltaneos (talk) 20:19, October 11, 2013 (UTC)

Japanese card text translationsEdit

If you don't mind, could you try deciphering the rest of the flavor text of "Flying Elephant" and subsequently translate it? Would be appreciated... =3 --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 02:11, October 15, 2013 (UTC)

Toei cardsEdit

Are you able to read/find and add the lores for any of the following; "Clock Card", "Curse of Dark Cross Star", "Exodia the Forbidden One", "Flute of Light", "Golgotha's Punishment", "Magical Hats", "Megamorph", "Miraculous Water", "Monster Reborn", "Roar", "Tsunami" and "Wicked Chain"? In the case of "Roar", can you also find its official name? -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:47, October 28, 2013 (UTC)

And do you know if the colour of the border around the cards' illustrations means anything for the Toei cards? -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:50, October 28, 2013 (UTC)

Synclone ResonatorEdit

Hello III. This was years ago, but would you recall how you knew this spelling difference? Since the card was never shown, I assume it must have been captions, but Konami's official site is still translating it as just Synchron. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 04:14, December 16, 2013 (UTC)

Strike NinjaEdit

Can you add the Japanese lores for "Strike Ninja" from this screenshot? -- Deltaneos (talk) 16:04, December 24, 2013 (UTC)

Manga loresEdit

Can you help me out with a few more lores?

-- Deltaneos (talk) 12:34, January 4, 2014 (UTC)

And can you get the Yu-Gi-Oh! R lore for "Insect Gun Armor"/"Laser Cannon".

-- Deltaneos (talk) 15:51, January 4, 2014 (UTC)

And a few more:

-- Deltaneos (talk) 00:19, January 6, 2014 (UTC)

Here are some more: "Magical Hats", "Spellbinding Circle", "Stop Defense", "Catapult Turtle", "Shield and Sword", "Reaper of the Cards", "Salamandra", "Monster Tamer", "Sanga of the Thunder", "Kazejin", "Suijin", "De-Spell", "Ryoku", "Shift" and "Copycat". (Special:RecentChangesLinked/Category:Manga cards)

Do you mind me asking for all this help? -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:47, January 16, 2014 (UTC)

Ritual requirementsEdit

"Black Luster Ritual" says that the sacrificed monsters must have 1500 or less ATK (攻撃力1500以下のしもべ2体). Does that mean 1500 each or 1500 combined? .e.g. for "Beaver Warrior" and "Kuriboh":

  • 1200 ≤ 1500, 300 ≤ 1500

or

  • 1200 + 300 = 1500 ≤ 1500

Same with "Black Illusion Ritual" and "Dark Magic Ritual" -- Deltaneos (talk) 12:03, February 15, 2014 (UTC)

Great White TerrorEdit

Can you add the lore to "Great White Terror"? Thanks. -- Deltaneos (talk) 15:36, January 11, 2015 (UTC)
