card rulingsEdit
We dont allow unofficial rulings for cards on this wiki (ones that dont come from Konami). Mostly because this would mean a lot of unnecessary stuff would be said, but also to prevent people from spreading misinformation, like you did. Your edits have been deleted/partially reverted; "at the end of the Damage Step" is still considered during thr Damage Step, much like the end of your turn is still considered your turn. Feel free to ask for clarification on the Wiki forums or other reliable YGO communities, if you don't believe me. --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 06:26, January 2, 2015 (UTC)
- I just explained why I deleted the rulings page, in the 1st two above sentences ^. It will not be restored. As for the tips, I'm sorry, but people should realize WHY they can't activate stuff like Swift Scarecrow when Slugger attacks (it's a Continuous effect that applies immediately when it attacks, with no chance for a response). Spoonfeeding them "tips" doesn't make them learn; it only teaches them to ask repetitive, similar questions, resulting in useless content on the Wiki. The tips pages are primariy meant to give people ideas on how to use the card with other cards, not for explaining interactions. --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 21:04, January 2, 2015 (UTC)
- Explanation done. Konami still gives rulings for the Japanese OCG, so we are not going to change our policy regarding the ruling pages, so long as official rulings are being issued (which shows no sign of ending soon). --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 04:56, January 3, 2015 (UTC)

- I dunno... A small note at the bottom of the site states "Unless a footnote linking directly to KONAMI's own Database is directly tied to a remark we make, treat it solely as the opinion of the Organization." While the sources on rulings link back to the DB, I can't seem to access them. I may be required to make an account in order to view them, but... - Change the language setting on the database in the top-right corner to Japanese, then click on the link again. You may have to go to the database home page to do this. From there, depending on your browser, you may get an option for google translate.
