Hey Jamespenguin, I'm writing to you since it looks like you're the guy that works on YugiohPrices.com. I just wanted to let you know that we've been gearing up for a while now for an update to the format to pages on OCG/TCG cards. Most of the work up to now has been in splitting out non-OCG/TCG info to separate articles (we're in the midst of splitting [[:Category:Anime cards|anime]] and [[:Category:Manga cards|manga]] cards right now, and there are still a number of video games and a few other real-life games to be done). I can't provide a timescale for when this will finally start happening, but you can start getting an idea of how it'll look and work from [[Dark Magician Girl (temp)]], [[Slifer the Sky Dragon (temp)]], [[Kuriboh (temp)]], [[Gemini Elf (temp)]], and [[Graceful Charity (temp)]] (though I also need to caution that implementation details may change before we finally start deploying; if nothing else, there are still problems that need to be worked out and the presentation needs some more polish). I'm just letting you know so that, whenever we do finally start on this, it won't catch you guys unawares, and also to give you a chance to provide feedback or suggestions if you have any. Cheers! <span class="nowrap">「[[User:Dinoguy1000|<span style="color:#00f;">ディノ</span><span style="color:#080;">奴</span>]][[Special:Contributions/Dinoguy1000|<span style="color:#F90;">千?!</span>]]」[[wikipedia:Help:IJP|?]] · [[User talk:Dinoguy1000#top|☎ Dinoguy1000]]</span> 06:21, January 25, 2015 (UTC)

== Adding card releases ==
 +
 +
Hey, I noticed that you were having some trouble adding card releases to pages ([http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Graydle_Parasite?diff=3213958&oldid=3213837 example]), so I thought I'd give you some tips to help you out.
 +
 +
First, it's important that you put the new sets inside the CardTable2 template, otherwise they won't work at all. You can tell when it ends, because it is closed by <code><nowiki>}}</nowiki></code> at the bottom of the page. Ideally, all of the card releases should be placed together, listed in the same order the template displays them (so ''TCG'' releases above ''OCG'' releases). If you want to add English releases when there is already a Japanese release (which will usually be the case), just place them directly above the Japanese releases to ensure it will display.
 +
 +
Additionally, I noticed that you were adding the English releases in the old style rather than using [[Template:Card table set]]. The template itself is fairly straightforward, but if you're confused about how to use it I recommend checking out the documentation on the page [[Template:Card table set]]. For a practical example, check out [http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Graydle_Parasite?diff=next&oldid=3213958 this edit] where I updated your addition of English releases to a card page.
 +
 +
If you're still confused or have any further questions about adding new releases to card pages, don't hesitate to ask me personally, or you can put your question in the [[Forum:Yu-Gi-Oh! Wiki Community Discussion|Yu-Gi-Oh! Wiki Community Discussion]] forum if you would prefer. --[[User:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#A70000">'''Snorlax'''</span>]][[User talk:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#0000A7">'''Monster'''</span>]] 10:08, October 29, 2015 (UTC)

While your account has been handy for [http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Performage_Plushfire?diff=prev&oldid=3213923 fixing Set IDs] in some instances, it still has some faults, such as [http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Black_Luster_Soldier_-_Super_Soldier?diff=prev&oldid=3213940 example #1], [http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Dark_Contract_with_Errors?diff=prev&oldid=3216929 example #2], [http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Black_Luster_Soldier_-_Super_Soldier?diff=prev&oldid=3216919 example #3] (a continuation of example #1?), and [http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Dark_Magician_Girl?diff=prev&oldid=3226435 example #4]. Since you haven't fixed the problem Snorlax pointed out, and you haven't replied yet, I'm assuming you're using a program of some sort to do these edits automatically (which we have no problem against). However, we'd appreciate your input on how you plan to address the mistakes your account makes, as we don't want to check over all of your account's edits. Your block will be revoked once you reply. --[[User:UltimateKuriboh|UltimateKuriboh]] ([[User talk:UltimateKuriboh|talk]] • [[Special:Contributions/UltimateKuriboh|contribs]]) 02:19, November 13, 2015 (UTC)

Adding card releases[edit]

Hey, I noticed that you were having some trouble adding card releases to pages (example), so I thought I'd give you some tips to help you out.

First, it's important that you put the new sets inside the CardTable2 template, otherwise they won't work at all. You can tell when it ends, because it is closed by }} at the bottom of the page. The template itself is fairly straightforward, but if you're confused about how to use it I recommend checking out the documentation on the page Template:Card table set. For a practical example, check out this edit where I updated your addition of English releases to a card page.
