Mover rightsEdit

Redirects for card names are kept. In many instances, cards will have been at their unofficial names for months; people will still search for those names, so the redirects are needed to get people to the right pages quickly. --Golden Key (talk • contribs) 14:52, March 21, 2015 (UTC)

RE: Set ListsEdit

Hey Photon (I suppose you prefer me replying on your talk page, right?).
Well, I don't mind start converting stuff, both to {{Set list}} and {{Set gallery}}. Now, for the gallery one, there may be issues with JPG files, for instance, since using the queue won't be any good, since the file link isn't explicit (it would have to be manually updated); so I've been using it only on more recent sets or sets that do not contain JPG files. I've used it in a set with JPG files, though; I'm trying to see how people react and if anyone gives any feedback. But the template handles JPG files just fine.
As for {{Set list}}, the only bigger problem with it is that if a card loses its SMW values (which happens sometimes), then the "Card type" column will appear blank, basically (similar happens with the way we currently do the lists, since we use {{Card name}}). This can be fixed with null edits and while I'm around I can just set my bot to do it. Also, if we finally get rid of {{CardTable2}} for something cleaner, I think these problems would go away (I hope so, at least).
So, basically, I don't mind start converting it (other admins also didn't oppose to this); but I'd like to do it slowly and see how it goes. If you would like to test it or convert a list/gallery to them, feel free, no problem at all.

I could remove the [[|]] and similar stuff that appears when unused, yes. Though that would require the template to check for some stuff and, for big lists (such as reprint sets), it could make it heavy enough for the user to notice the page is taking some time to load. I'll see if I find another way, though.

The template is not designed to build the individual card galleries (for that, I was messing with some stuff on this page, but I don't like it yet. Example). Though you can simulate, more or less, with {{Set gallery}}, by using the options part. If you want, I can change your page, for an example. "OP" is being placed on the rarity field and only valid rarities (used on {{R}}) are accepted; any other value is ignored and defaults to "C". Do you know whether or not it's "Enter-Mate Miss Director" or "Smoke Mosquito" that is the Tuner monster? If I remember correctly the Tuner is usually the last monster mentioned in dialogue. Starving Venemy's EffectEdit

The problem is that that effect isn't attributed to anything specific, but there are only two options: either Starving Venemy or Lethal Dose. The whole reason we have a "reconstructed lore" banner is so that we can make certain assumptions about the effects. Either way, we have to list the effect somewhere.
