Welcome[edit]

Welcome to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia, feel free to ask me if you have doubts. --Dragon Slayer 13:08, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Acid Drain[edit]

Hmm yeah I just undid your edit so the page would still link to the correct article. How does Acid Rainfall sound? It may not be the exact translation, but close enough until there is an official English name at least. -- Deltaneos 14:05, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Disregard this message, I wrote it on the wrong talk page! -Pizzaman 14:11, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

ACG[edit]

Your opinion is important, please give your support or opposition about the Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia joining the Wikia ACG here. --Dragon Slayer 21:10, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Card Destruction and Buster Blader[edit]

Can you check the Japanese names for Card Destruction and Buster Blader? According to the manga the Japanese names mean Card Obliteration and Buster Blader, but we've had them listed as Hand Obliteration and Bastard Blader. -- Deltaneos 15:09, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

  • Thanks. -- Deltaneos 15:22, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

Userpage[edit]

Sorry, I thought it was a mistake, I used to do so in the past. --Tyrant Slayer 07:20, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

  • Thanks, I had the lesson of the day. --Tyrant Slayer 07:26, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

Another translation[edit]

Could you check this translation? -- Deltaneos 15:54, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for your help. -- Deltaneos 16:28, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys[edit]

It fun because I have seen it so many times, I thought it was part of the fire around her. --Tyrant Dragon Slayer 04:05, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

Destiny Board Ruling[edit]

Was this announced somewhere, or are you assuming it? The vica-versa part isn't needed anyway since you can't use OCG cards in the TCG. -- Deltaneos 12:45, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Here it states, you can't use Japanese or Asian-English cards in the TCG. You're pretty much right about using TCG cards in the OCG, here it states you can use TCG cards in the OCG. although I think it might just be TCG cards from the sets listed there. (That would elimimate TCG-Only cards, but also various other sets and promos) -- Deltaneos 13:04, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Female monsters[edit]

Tactical Warrior (Command Knight) does not list Cyber Shield as a compatible, equip card in DOR. -- Deltaneos 10:58, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

Tsunami[edit]

How I handled this before you, I don't know. But would you be able to translate the Japanese text on "Tsunami"? -- Deltaneos 12:26, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

yeah![edit]

I told you!

Testing[edit]

Testing new nickname thing. --Pizzaman 15:57, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

RE: Rainbow Dark Dragon[edit]

It appears you did a good job with your scan. All I did was trim the white off the edges after I straightened it a bit. Very good scan. -- Glittersword 12:53, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

Blog[edit]

See here. Shriek is rarely wrong on such things. In fact, I've only noted one, maybe 2 mistakes in the years I've been using his Blog.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 16:34, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

Trueman[edit]

  • Do you know what happens when Trueman is beat? --Dark Yugi 14:37, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
  • Damn thats a shame. BTW do you like any of the White-oriented characters? I.E. White Lex. --Dark Yugi 16:58, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
  • I guess i wasnt clear on my question. When i said White-Oriented characters i meant those who "joined" the Society of Light. --Dark Yugi 16:18, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
  • Any reason for this? --Dark Yugi 14:39, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
  • I've always harbored a sort of grudge against Judai for that. Dont ask unless you really wanna know. --Dark Yugi 14:37, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

Vol.6 & 7 images[edit]

Hey I noticed you've uploaded images from Vol.6 and 7 before... You don't happen to have any more? Specifically, "Arlownay", "B. Dragon Jungle King", "Dark Chimera", "Cyber Soldier", "Giganto" and "Air Eater". Our current versions of those images have been taken from another site and had the sitename (which was printed on the card images) edited out, and the owner of that site isn't too happy about that. -- Deltaneos 22:21, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

Yup, quality's good. Nice work. -- Deltaneos 10:06, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Old cards[edit]

Thank you ever so much. With your help and Pcouw's, I believe we have the Volume series covered. But I wanted to ask you, do you have any cards from the Booster series? We could always do with more images of them. Thanks. Rodtheanimegod4ever 23:52, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Situation as of now[edit]

Moving homes + flying back to Japan for uni.
Will be busy for the next few weeks. --Pizzaman 08:09, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

Kinda back. Currently in a hotel in Shinjuku. Will be back in a few days. --Pizzaman 13:06, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
Finally in my dorm. Yay. --Pizzaman 11:04, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

RE: Gintama[edit]

I'm curious about this manga, but I can't find a good site where I can read it online with ALL the chapters, because there are few sites that upload or translate this manga... --Rein Weiss Ritter 12:46, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

I think I will see the anime... always waiting when all the chapters will be translated... --Rein Weiss Ritter 15:14, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

The Gospel of Truth[edit]

Hey, long shot, but you don't happen to have a copy of Yu-Gi-Oh! Character Guide Book - The Gospel of Truth? -- Deltaneos 13:20, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Card Trivia:Unlimited Blade Rain[edit]

Well, ok. A trivia is a trivia after all, and even fake cards need it. --Dragon Slayer (Contribs Count) 13:46, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

Episodes, Turns?[edit]

In the manga Chapters are called Duels. Do you know if it's true that Episodes are called Turns. As far as I know, it hasn't been stated in the English anime, but do they say it the start of Japanese episodes when it says the episode name. -- Deltaneos 21:02, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

Yanagi's cards.[edit]

Heya, me again. Could you translate the names of these cards and add them to Yanagi's decklist please? -- Deltaneos 09:48, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks. -- Deltaneos 09:56, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

...touche.[edit]

Yeah, that would do it, but not until I stomp those royal pains in the butt into the ground and spit on their graves... If you use a monarch in your deck, that's fine, I don't care. I just don't like people that use them in multiple and summon them over and over and over and over and over and... you know what I'm saying...

Thanks[edit]

Thanks for confirming King-Mist or Fog King, whatever, I've been waiting for him to come out in TCG for awhile now. Now my Double-Edged deck will be complete. Thanks.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Novel[edit]

Have you ever seen this anywhere? We're short a few details. I think there's images of Cyber Kaiba, "The Unknown Egg" and "Automatic Giant" in it. If you have seen or own it, would you be able to get any of those images or lists more cards from Yugi and Cyber Kaiba's Decklists? Thanks. -- Deltaneos 11:41, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

The decklist part's okay now, Van Ludwig showed me a website containing a summary of the Novel. -- Deltaneos 00:59, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Welcome Messages[edit]

Yep. --Dragon Slayer (Contribs Count) 12:56, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Dragoon D-END[edit]

Unlike Ring of Destruction, Dragoon D-END requires a two-card combo to use - and even then you lose not only his self-reviving ability (since he wasn't properly Fusion Summoned) and the ability to conduct your Battle Phase but also the ability to activate his effect during your opponent's turn - unlike the banned Trap Card, he can only be used during your Main Phase. The 1-for-1 removal isn't as broken and easy. As for Cyber End Dragon, consider that this is a slower format than we are used to. Trample damage becomes important, as does the free 4000 ATK. Plus, he doesn't need to require you to skip your Battle Phase to kill a monster and inflict massive damage. --Crab Helmet 19:03, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Dragoon Banlist?[edit]

You were mentioning morphing the Slime, and I said if we had morph, people would also trying to be summon it with Yubel with how easy she is to get out. Yami 00:54, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

Yanagi's cards revisited[edit]

Could you take a look at this one too? -- Deltaneos 10:24, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

Nevermind, we've managed to identify them now. -- Deltaneos 14:15, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

Sorry if I'm bothering you with these. But could you translate the name of the card that's mostly covered here? Only the name is visible. -- Deltaneos 15:38, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Darkness Gear Gokuen[edit]

"Darkness Gear Gokuen" has 「ダーク」 in the furigana. That's used in the Dark counterparts like "Dark Armed Dragon's" Japanese name. I was wondering, would that make "Dark Gear Gokuen" a more likely English name? And even make it one of the Dark counterparts, even though it had its type changed rather than Attribute? -- Deltaneos 14:59, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

Okay. I look forward to seeing how that page progresses. One question... does waifu mean wife? -- Deltaneos 15:18, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

Dark Cindy[edit]

Sorry, one more tiny translation request: Image:?-JP-Anime-5D.png -- Deltaneos (talk) 12:27, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Okay uploaded a new one over it. -- Deltaneos (talk) 10:05, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
Cool thanks. This is the kind of stuff that keeps us ahead of other 5D's websites. -- Deltaneos (talk) 11:41, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

I really need to learn the language. Am I annoying you with all these? I can wait until Janime names the new anime cards, if this is bothering you too much. -- Deltaneos (talk) 12:02, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Favor[edit]

  • When ever you get the chance could you please comment my deck?

Thank You

RJ 02:51, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

Weekly 5D's request[edit]

Thanks in advance. -- Deltaneos (talk) 14:34, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

Nevermind, I think they're "Discord Counter" and "Confusion Chaff". -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:42, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

I'm having some difficulty trying to interpret "Discord Counter's" exact effect. Can you translate the text printed on the card? -- Deltaneos (talk) 14:33, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

OCG Rulings (Dark Simorgh)[edit]

Do you know where Komani gave the special Summon-from-hand-is-a-Trigger-Effect ruling for Dark Simorgh? The FAQ that's just off the main site is the only place I know for official rulings, and it doesn't mention anything. --Deus Ex Machina 20:55, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

New Role Model[edit]

If you count Warrior Dai Grepher as a role model, then find a new role model, not only was he questionablebefore his descent, but during it he became Dark Grepher & killed many of his own men. From there he becomes Dark Lucius who is extremely evil. MaroonKangaroo 09:14, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

Yet Another Rulings Question[edit]

My Japanese is horrible. Would you be able to translate this ruling? It's a little beyond my translating abilities. --Deus Ex Machina 21:59, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Breaker The Magical Warrior question[edit]

Can Breaker The Magical Warrior (gets a spell counter when summoned) get spell counters (max.1) by (successfully) activating a spell card?

Toon Exodia and Super Lair Card[edit]

Another user is trying to get images of these guys, but he's stuck on one part of the video game and needs a translation. Can you help him out here? -- Deltaneos (talk) 23:09, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

  • He has the images now. Could you help him? Leave the message on his page. Rodtheanimegod4ever 00:19, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

Using TCG cards in the OCG[edit]

Are you sure that TCG cards are allowed in the OCG? This page only seems to mention Japanese and Asian-English. There may have been confusion since it says Trading Card Game on the bottom of Asian-English cards, even though they're not from what we call the TCG. Another user from Taiwan says the guidlines there forbid American-Enlish (Assuming they mean all TCG regions) aren't allowed. -- Deltaneos (talk) 15:07, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

That page mentions Asian-English alright. It just calls them "English", which seems fitting, since they're already in Asia. The backing below where it says 遊戯王 オフィシャルカードゲーム is Japanese. The one below YU-GI-OH! TRADING CARD GAME, I assume is Asian-English, since the ude-English looks like this Image:Back-EN.png. -- Deltaneos (talk) 18:53, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

please duel[edit]

please duel Catface 11:12, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
...? I'm not following you. --Pizzaman 12:07, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

Anime tour episode[edit]

Do you know was a Riding/Turbo Duel Jack and Yusei had or a Ground Duel? ie. Which of their Decks should we list the "/Buster" monsters under? -- Deltaneos (talk) 12:26, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

Monsters with stories[edit]

You're into D.D. Warrior Lady right? I was thinking that we should start a category for monsters with background stories. or something. XD Master 22:00, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

Playing Castle[edit]

Hi Pizzaman. Long time, no see. Can you tell me is "Playing castle for teenagers" seriously an accurate translation of "Judai Yuki"? -- Deltaneos (talk) 08:49, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
