And thanks for all of the work that you have done in the past. Big Boss 0 21:46, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

What happened is that you were not logged in when you created the gallery so it was deleted. Try creating it on my sandbox page. Big Boss 21:20, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

I'll look at it later today. Big Boss 14:00, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

Question

How did you find out that te dark master exodia was just a recolored Exodia Necross? Big Boss 03:06, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

  • It may not look like it at first, but if you take away the green fog, flip it, and use Exodia's original palette, you'll start to see a resemblance.

BTW Has the page been deleted? I can't find it.--SlashMan 01:25, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

About that video game, Nightmare Troubadour, does it ever spell anyone else's name differently? Ghostkaiba297 20:37, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

Re: Card Listing and magnets

Yeah, please make an article for the series of magnets. We should try to document all official Yu-Gi-Oh! merchandise. -- Deltaneos (talk) 17:33, April 25, 2010 (UTC)

Dark Magic Curtain Talk Page

I left some comments to you, and see that you didn't respond back. So I just answer it here. That spell you asked only can work for the monster that only named by "Black Magician", The reason why Yami Yugi can summon "Dark Magician Girl" is because it's more flexible and it was nature making before release into real life. So your buddy is wrong, he cannot summon "Dark Magician Girl" with this spell. --FredCat T.P.F.R.J.R.W.S. 14:42, September 6, 2010 (UTC)

It's Anime version, but for Real Life effect, it must be "Black Magician" only. If it were said for other "Dark Magician" monsters, that would be worded like this; "Pay half your Life Points to Special Summon 1 monster that included the name; "Dark Magician", from your Deck." instead. --FredCat T.P.F.R.J.R.W.S. 20:57, September 6, 2010 (UTC)
So far in anime, it was used to summon two monsters - "Black Magician" and "Black Magician Girl". That's how we know it effect text - "Both players pay half life points to special summon 1 monster with 'Black Magician' in it card name, if there are any in their own decks."
Indeed... --FredCat T.P.F.R.J.R.W.S. 11:30, September 7, 2010 (UTC)

Legion the Fiend Jester

The Artwork pages are meant to show the various artworks, that's it, and they have always been labelled in an order starting with what is most relevant to the reader, which would be the OCG/TCG/Anime/Manga artwork. The listing was never meant to signify a chronological order. Even if you are right about why that is (and I don't think you are), the fact remains the same - it is that way. Changing one page and leaving all the others makes the Wiki look inconsistent. And even so, in this case, the manga artwork is the basis for the video game (and all other) artworks, and that is clear from the images. You going in and reordering everything doesn't offer any bit of extra context. Finally, stop rewording the sentences. The various artworks are given different points for a reason. The video game artworks are separate from the anime artworks. Both of them being "manga interpretations" doesn't change that. I'm reverting your edits.--YamiWheeler (talkcontribs) 20:42, May 10, 2015 (UTC)

"First, I think you need to calm down. This isn't a case of vandalism, please stop treating it as such."
I don't see where I wasn't being calm? I was being clear. You were taking a healthy page and turning it into something that is inconsistent with the rest of the Wiki to seemingly comply with your own personal preference, and thus I felt fully justified to revert.
"Saying "Even if you are right about why that is (and I don't think you are), the fact remains the same - it is that way" offers nothing but your own opinion."
Actually, that's one thing that isn't opinion at all. It's a fact that the majority of the Artworks pages do not appear to take the chronological order into account, and instead appear to list them by the most relevant medium. You're the one who actually used your speculative opinion as an argument when you said that was because "no one bothered to properly order them after it was initially added."
"You say that video game artwork contributed nothing to the OCG/TCG/anime artworks, when in reality most manga artworks were black and white before the video games decided the color (and pose, in some cases)."
Actually, I never said that the video game artwork "contributed nothing." Please don't put words in my mouth. I said that they were less relevant than the other mediums, and that your edit didn't offer any extra context. That's wildly different. As for whether or not they "decided" anything, see my summary below.
"You going in and reordering everything doesn't offer any bit of extra context." In your opinion, of course. I previously stated the benefits to explaining it in chronological order."
And I maintain that those benefits aren't worth making an established system inconsistent. Both yours and my stances are opinions, I don't see what your point is. If you'd like to propose taking the time to edit every single page where this issue is relevant, please do propose it. But if all you're going to do is edit one page and then leave the rest to be in limbo, then I still take issue with this.
"Finally, please search around for specific regulations before assuming things should be a certain way. The question was officially answered by an administrator here. It was in explicit terms stated that, it should be chronological."
Actually, I didn't "assume" anything. I base my edits on my experience, and my experience, which is considerably greater than yours on this Wiki FYI, has taught me to do things this way. I hadn't come across this issue before, and if you had taken the time to provide some evidence for your revert (since you clearly had it), we could have discussed this earlier.
My argument for not doing this is that for one, it's mostly frivolous. It doesn't offer any context without actually writing a dedicated sentence for it, and I don't believe that the Card Artworks page is the correct page for that.
In 5 years and 15,000+ edits here, I didn't know it was listed in chronological order (and a lot of my edits are Artwork page related), I've seen it done differently and it hasn't even come up as an issue until now. If a reader really cares about the chronological context, all they have to do is click the link to find out when the video game was released, and bingo, they have context.
Besides that, suggesting that the video game artwork influenced the anime artwork in any way is speculation. For example, in this case, Legion the Fiend Jester appeared in the manga in Chapter 102 in black and white (the date isn't listed), then in the video game in July 2000, then finally in the anime in June 2001. You're arguing causation between the video game colors and the anime art colors, but June 2001 was the air date, we don't know when that anime card art was finalized. Moreover, we don't know what colors Kazuki Takahashi had in mind when he drew Legion the Fiend Jester, or whether or not he passed on those thoughts (if any) to the anime production crew, or oversaw it himself, etc. So we are in no position to say definitively that the video game had any influence on the artwork. It could have been decided long before, and we're only basing it on what we saw first. That is speculation, and we don't allow speculation based edits on the Wiki.
I apologize for the length of that, it ended up becoming far too long, but that's my argument. If you still don't agree, we can take it up with the admins, start a discussion and put it to a vote if necessary.--YamiWheeler (talkcontribs) 02:51, May 11, 2015 (UTC)
This is a Wiki, not a dictatorship. An admin said something on a forum post, and I imagine that it was the first time he was dealing with the issue himself as well. Regardless, it wasn't a discussion and it can be challenged, and I've demonstrated an argument to challenge it with.--YamiWheeler (talkcontribs) 03:05, May 11, 2015 (UTC)
Fair enough. You're right, I should have waited and seen the discussion through before reverting. That being said, in future, if you have evidence to back up your point, it might be wise to put it in the edit description rather than wait for an incident to occur.--YamiWheeler (talkcontribs) 03:14, May 11, 2015 (UTC)
I've reverted it for the time being, but like I said, I'll bring it up with admins on another occasion and will link them to our discussion.--YamiWheeler (talkcontribs) 03:25, May 11, 2015 (UTC)

DDS fusion data

Do you have any experience working with game ROMs? (I can never remember if you're one of the people who has been actively exploring various ROMs and their games' RAMs, or if you just work off of what those people have published so far on Data Crystal and elsewhere, hence my question.) If so, is there any chance you could convert the fusion data into a human-readable format? The "fusion material #2" and "fusion result" data are straightforward enough (though, since there's over 20,000 fusions in DDS, going through them all by hand just isn't feasible), but I don't really understand what the game is doing with the fusion materials ROM banks and fusion materials pointers to get the "fusion material #1".

If you can do this, you can dump the information at User:Dinoguy1000/DDS fusions (and it would be awesome if you could also do so for the otehr Duel Monsters games; if you can and are willing to, I can give you pages to dump that info as well). Thanks! ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 05:01, August 25, 2016 (UTC)
