Image Naming

Changing our preference from jpg to png was TwoTailedFox's idea, since png images are of higher quality and jpg lose quality each time they're saved. I pointed out the big difference in size, the longer display time and the fact that we already have 10,000 images saved as jpgs to him... but nada.

Although resaving and reuploading correctly named jpg images as png isn't something we tend to do... since it doesn't "fix" the quality. -- Deltaneos 11:20, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

Please read all of the punctuation section of the manual of style, as it will help other users in not having to correct the episode summaries you make. If you want to know how it can be beneficial, you have championships that are awesome with people from all over the world. If you want to make a deck, you need to see episode you like and see how the cards when incorporated can counter any deck you might come across. You use MS Word to crop images? 'Paint' i can understand but why 'Word', it would be better if you use "MS Photo Editor" or "MS Office Picture Manager" instead (depending on the version of 'MS Office' you have). One of those would do a better job than using 'Paint' or 'MS Word' to edit the images. As for saving images after editing, just go to the 'Save As' option and chose the extension you want to save in from the drop down menu (it would be better to save in .png extension for using on wiki). Another option for editing images is to use a free image editing software like 'Paint.NET'. You can just mess around the options to know how it works, because i don't use it (i only tried it once) so i don't know much about it but they say it much easier to use than Adobe Photoshop (though i find the later to be much easier to use).--182.19.77.100 (talk) 15:41, March 11, 2013 (UTC)
