Very nice work with the Anime/Video Game stuff... thanks for working with the new 1st Appearance section... makes it easier to find the right images in the future.--Pcouw 21:58, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks! I'm trying to do my best.

Cell Division

when was that card used? also, are you the one who created the new anime only card table? AnnaV 13:02, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

Welcome

Welcome Van-kun. I've been a editor of this site for a few months. Glad to have ya aboard. --Evil Yugi 22:08, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

Minor Changes

Hey nice work still... there are a few changes that I've done... 1. When you update for images, please change the Template at the top of video game card articles to include Video in the name... ie... SpellTable becomes VideoSpellTable. This will change the required information. 2. New required information for video game cards is the passcode (previously the number) and 1st video game found in (videogames = XXX) 3. You no longer need sets, advanced, traditional.

Hopefully this can be helpful when you are updating things to keep it all the same.--Pcouw 05:03, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

Names

The names used are the commonly-accepted names for the OCG Cards. I'd list the Manga names under 'Manga Only', and redirect them back to the corresponding OCG, with a note about their alternate name in each one. --TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 10:53, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

Japanese in Card Articles

Just a heads up, we're no longer using 「」 in Card Articles, for Aesthetic and Cosmetic reasons. Japanese Characters alongside English are, however, to still use them.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 13:03, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

Backup Gardna

  • Are you sure it appeared in Destiny Board Traveler? Leave answer in my talk page. ~Evil Yugi
  • Ok Thanks!

DDM

thanks for that but the website i use is this one http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/gbadvance/file/471247/31548 i use it for all the articles ok, but thanks for the useful tips

Translation

Deltaneos pointed me here for information about a card text translation. What would Dark Enchanter Exodia translate to in japanese characters? I would like that information. Big Boss 14:54, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

New Templates

Don't worry about typing the categories in the pages for trivia, Anime and Manga Appearances etc. the new templates will automatically include them and file them correctly. -- Deltaneos (talk contribs) 22:54, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

Bandai Galleries

Hey. What do you know about the Yu-Gi-Oh! Bandai OCG Series Sets? Specficially the 2nd and 3rd Generations? There are a lot of Bandai cards floating around and I want to sort them into their proper image galleries. -- Huajun Chen 18:52, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

  • Awesome. Thanks! -- Huajun Chen 18:57, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

Botherbotherbother

Image:ReturnoftheWTF!.jpg <--- :DDD??? -- Huajun Chen 22:01, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

  • Damn, you're good at this. So what do we do with this card? Make a seperate card page for it or what? -- Huajun Chen 00:46, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Bandai Templates

Should we start new Bandai Card Tables for ones that have OCG/TCG versions which would include the title template and have the Galleries, Anime & Manga Appearances and Trivia links link to those sections of their TCG/OCG counterparts? --Deltaneos (talk contribs)

  • That all seems well and good. --Deltaneos 11:40, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

Anime Card Translations

  • I just gotta know: Where are you getting these translations from? Doing them yourself? 'cause they're completely different from Janime. -- Huajun Chen 04:50, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

DDM figures

Do you know if there is any variation amoung Dungeon Dice Monsters figures? I mean are figures of the same character different depending on sets? I know Dark Magician and Arkana's Dark Magician have seperate figures but they're considered seperate cards. I'm asking you in light of image naming. Compare yours to mine. Thanks. -- Deltaneos (talk contribs) 17:55, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

  • Thank you. Also have you any idea what the Arkana DM figure's image should be named? -- Deltaneos 18:13, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

Question

Hello, Mr. Ludwig. I was wondering, since you got that picture of Dinosaur Wing, would you know where I could get a picture of Ironoid, as well? Rodtheanimegod4ever 05:40, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

Favor

I have a small favor to ask you. Could you please go to my sub page User:Big Boss 0/Horus and copy the text on the card in japanese and paste it on my talkpage. I am currently unable to print out a black and white text document so could you do this for me. My computer does not allow me to type in Japanese. I would greatly appreciate it. Big Boss 0 17:08, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

I didn't ask you to translate the text on the card. I just asked you to try to copy the text on the card in japanese. My friend would like to have a copy of it and I cannot do it with my computer. I am sorry if you became confused with my earlier request. If you are able to do it I would gladly appreciate it. Big Boss 0 12:50, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

Thanks dude I owe you one. Big Boss 0 16:16, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

I might have 3 other cards that I might need you to translate for me in the near future. This is a heads up. Big Boss 0 02:25, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

Here is one of the cards that I need translated. I have no Idea what it says. Could you help me. Image:Counterfeit Dark Master Exodia 2.JPG Big Boss 0 21:43, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

There are two cards that I would like you to translate as soon as humanely possible. These cards have really caught my attention and I would like to know what they say. Image:Unknown 1.JPG & Image:Unknown 2.JPG . Big Boss 0 00:06, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Since you gave me the names the images were moved to the correct corresponding pages. Big Boss 0 14:14, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Frog Template

  • Could you help? For Template:Frog, we identify any card as a frog card by having "frog" in its Japanese name. The kanji is apparently ガエル, but Frog the Jam has カエル, which is almost identical. Do you know if it counts? -- Deltaneos 01:11, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Thanks

Thank you so far for translating the cards and finding the light of the egyptian gods. Do you know an english site that would sell this card? Big Boss 0 20:31, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Thanks van. I might have 3 more fake cards for you to translate tomorrow. Big Boss 0 22:07, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Prefixes to namespace

Sorry to bother, but have you read Yu-Gi-Oh!:Community Portal#Prefixes to Namespaces? Basically it would change Card Gallery, Card Rulings, Card Errata, Card Tips, Anime and Manga Appearances and Card Trivia: pages to a special type of page, like pages starting User: or Template:.

Advantages:
  1. We'll be able to filter the Recent Changes to just tips, rulings, whichever.
  2. When your searching for pages you can select any of these as a namespace to search in.
  3. Currently when you click random page, you're more likely to land in a page regarding a card that has many of the pages in the Other Card Information section. For example Elemental Hero Necroshade has all six pages in this section, so you have 7 chances of landing on a Necroshade page compared to Spike Seadra where you have only 1 chance of landing on a Spike Seadra info page.
  4. You'll be able to open a random Gallery or a random Tip etc. by using [[Special:Random/Card Gallery]] etc.
  5. We'll be able to merge the Card Navigation templates and will not need to include the name parameter. Just simply add {{Navigation}} or {{Index}} (whatever we call it) to the page. Whereas before you would have to type
{{Trivia
|name = Dark Magician
}}
In case where a name2 parameter would have been needed, we would just need to type {{Index|Dark Magician (Bandai)}} instead of,
{{Trivia
|name = Dark Magician (Bandai)
|name2 = Dark Magician
}}
The one template would hold for all pages in the Other Card Inforamtion section, so {{Index}} would be used in each page insted of Template:Rulings for Rulings, Template:Tips for Tips
Disadvantages
  1. You can't get random page to land in something completely random, it will only open a random page in the Main Space (which will exclude Galleries, Tips etc.). Unless you specify it be a random gallery, tip, etc.

We need feedback before we can do anything, so let us know if you have any thoughts (for or against). -- Deltaneos 12:26, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

GameBoy Duel Monsters Promos: Series 1

Do you know much about these cards? Are they considered OCG cards? -- Deltaneos 21:20, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

Ok I guess that means cards like the GBDMPS1 Dark Magician should get seperate pages similar to how the Bandai cards do. I've already changed the template to suit them, see Zorc. But we could do with seperate level star images. (Doubt you've got any handy?) -- Deltaneos 22:43, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
They're not part of any game, correct? So we should drop the Card Tips section for them? -- Deltaneos 22:45, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
Thanks they'll do. Also do you an image of the back of them, Japanese cards, Bandai cards or DDM cards, because we have the English backing come up as a default image for any card that needs an image. -- Deltaneos 23:04, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
Wow. You're brilliant. -- Deltaneos 23:25, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
Ok couple more Q:
Do you know why they're divided into Duel Monsters and Monster Capsule: Breed and Battle?
Ant dea why Blue-Eyes and Red-Eyes have different kanji in this set?
Is there a general name for this set of cards? Something we could put at the end of article names, for example Dark Magician (Monster Capsule)? -- Deltaneos 15:51, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

What chapter did Slime King and Insecticide appear in? I could probably grab images of them if I knew. Rodtheanimegod4ever 23:54, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

Card Tables in A&MA pages + Manga images

Certainly an interesting idea. I'm not overly-enthusiastic about CardTables in the Anime and Manga Appearances pages at all. They cause clutter and the purpose of the Other Card Information pages is to keep info on seperate pages from the Card Table. I do like your solution a lot. Although I have been pondering on something else... Have you seen the Cyber End Dragon page with language bar? I was thinking for cards with major differences in the anime or manga, like the the Wicked Gods, we could add anime or manga buttons, which could change the info and image to the anime or manga version. But pages with that coding, doesn't display right for users with Java Script disabled, so until we get a fallback for users with JS disabled, we shouldn't be using that. Even with the falback, I don't think they'll have access to the other language/anime/manga info. So while it may seem redundant, I guess we may still include the anime/manga differences in the A&MA pages. And I'm all for your using your layout. It's a lot neater.

Just one more thing, have you any idea what this card is? It was in Bakura's hand, in his Battle City Duel against Yugi. The English manga just says NOTE: One of Bakura's cards is unnamed. Was any more information given in the Japanese version? -- Deltaneos 14:08, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, the Valhalla, the Castle of the Gods page looks awesome. About the mangas, manga isn't really big over here, the shop I've been getting them from only has a few volumes and doesn't seem to be restocking. I looked at the Volume with Insecticide before. It said something like Insecticide (NOTE: Not a real game card. Known as Eradicating Aerosol in some video games). I didn't buy the issue though. I'm not sure if they have the Jonouchi - Keith Duel, but I'll have a look next time I'm there. -- Deltaneos 22:15, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

Japanese Lores

Heya. Are you able to list OCG Japanese Lores? (pref. with Rubyized text)--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 18:35, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

  • Any help in that area is greatly appreciated, Ruby is swiftly being expected by some readers, and it would be great to have it for lores.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 18:52, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

unnamed Death-T cards.

This card was unnamed in the English manga. Kaiba used it against Yugi in Death-T. Do you know what it's called or what its ATK and DEF are? -- Deltaneos 18:10, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Alright thanks. But interestingly are the other 3 possibly unnamed cards among these?
-- Deltaneos 20:19, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Novel

Looking at your recent edits, you seem to know about the Yu-Gi-Oh! Novel. If you have it, could I ask a few favours? Would you be able to get images of Cyber Kaiba, "The Unknown Egg" and "Automatic Giant" or list more cards from Yugi and Cyber Kaiba's decklists? -- Deltaneos 21:21, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Cool, thanks again. Hey ah, one more thing, you seem to know everything about Yu-Gi-Oh! (heck everything about a lot of things). Is there any particular reason, or do you just like Yu-Gi-Oh! so much? -- Deltaneos 22:25, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

GX Manga

A user who's been adding inaccurate information has stated that Manjyome beat David. This is the only claim of his I have no evidence against. Do you know anything about this? Rodtheanimegod4ever 19:11, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
