Adding Set Names by LanguageEdit

    • T'inquiète, pour ce qui est des cartes rares, j'ai de quoi te satisfaire. Tyranno Noir (Ultra), Broyeur de Cerveau (Super), Magicien du Chaos Sombre (Secret), etc... Card ImagesEdit

  • From info I've gathered from Japanese game guide sites like Wazap, it seems like you need to enter a "urawaza mode" (cheat mode), by entering: "UP DOWN B DOWN DOWN UP B B".
    However I cannot find any info on a supposed "Toon Exodia", so it may either be a hoax, or something that only exists in the American release of the game. --Pizzaman 12:08, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

  • (Indent reset) Well, screen 1~3 is Yugi simply asking you to enter the password. Screen 4 is the hiragana input while screen 5 is the katakana input. Screen 6 says "Are you sure you want to use this name? This cannot be changed afterwards" (I find it strange how it says "name") and Screen 7 is Yugi telling you that you inputted the wrong password. And as I say again... I seriously doubt the existence of Toon Exodia, as I can find zero information regarding it. --Pizzaman 09:09, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

I can confirm that those passwords work but on the Geocities link, some of the passwords are blank as they are unaccounted for. I used the cheat and painstakingly got all the cards from the listed passwords. The Super Lair/Toon Exodia thing is a hoax as those don't exist. French inter-wiki linksEdit

I see. You want to link between wikis in the names section of the table. Do you know that there is a more "official" way of linking between different language wikis? In the sidebar there's a section called "languages" or "in other languages". If you click the name of the language you want, it will take you to the coresponding article on the wiki of the language. For example, see the Basic Insect page. We currently have it set-up to link between the German and Spanish wikis. I can ask the techs to add French. In that case we would add [[fr:Insecte Élémentaire]] to the article, or something like [[fr:{{{frname}}}]] to the table. -- Deltaneos (talk) 13:08, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

The ones were're currently using being copyrighted isn't a problem, since the copyright holder has given people permission to use them (see here).

DM1 password/cheat menuEdit

Hey Yamimillenium, did you ever get the cheat sequence for accessing the password/cheat menu screen in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters to work? I can't ever get it to work for me, no matter what I try, so if you did, I'd appreciate if you could walk me through it step-by-step. Hi,
If I remember well, you have to press UP DOWN B DOWN DOWN UP B B on the title screen and nothing else (if you accidentally pressed a button at the title screen, you have to go to a submenu, then go back to the title screen). Once again, I explain how to get the password screen by memory, after pressing UP DOWN B DOWN DOWN UP B B, Yugi will ask you to enter a password. Here i tried one but nothing happen (my rom coul have been corrupted from the beginning).
I hope it will work for you. If the passwords don't work for you too, I'll try again on my side.

That's what I've tried, several times, but nothing ever happens for me. It could be the emulator I'm using, though, since all the opponents also use BEWDs in their decks...

That's because the code is slightly incorrect. You have to press UP DOWN B DOWN DOWN UP + B B. You could have to try a few times though as the game sometimes takes twice the input for Up in the UP + B.
