Age of Overlord is a Core Booster in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game (OCG) and Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game (TCG). It is the 2nd Core Booster of Series 12, following Duelist Nexus.

- In the OCG, the first-print runs of Age of Overlord boxes include 1 Age of Overlord +1 Bonus Pack. In addition, 1 Hidden Chapter Pack 2023 Vol.2 was given to buyers for every Asian box purchase of Age of Overlord.
- Includes cards used by Axel Brodie, Reginald Kastle, and Sergey Volkov.
- The TCG version also includes cards used by Jesse Anderson, Chazz Princeton, and Shoma Yusa.
- Introduces new members/support for the "Alien", "Earthbound", "Fusion Dragon", "Labrynth", "Magician", "Mannadium", "Nemleria", "Nouvelles", "Odd-Eyes", "Ogdoadic", "Pendulum", "Pendulum Dragon", "Phantom Beast", "Recipe", "Supreme King Dragon", "Supreme King Gate", "Synchro Dragon", "T.G.", "Vanquish Soul", "Visas", "Watt", "Xyz" and "Xyz Dragon" archetypes, as well as the -Eyes Dragon, Chimera, Earthbound Servant, Gaia Knight, Shark, Shinobird, Supreme King, and Transcendosaurus series.
