When [[Jaden Yuki]] and the player were late for the [[Duel Academy]] entrance exam, [[Vellian Crowler (Spirit Caller)|Vellian Crowler]] gave them both a second chance to enter, if they could defeat him in a Duel. After losing, he developed a dislike for both of them.

Crowler believed he had a win-win situation, where either they would be pummeled by the culprit or catch the culprit, in which case he would take the credit. Biography
