  • An infinite loop of damage can begin if your opponent activates something while this monster is on your field and they control "Beelze of the Diabolic Dragons".
    • "Creature Swap" or "Shien's Spy" can ensure that your opponent controls a "Beelze".
    • Furthermore, since the effect of "Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon" is a Continuous effect and does not start a chain, your opponent cannot stop it with "Solemn Strike" or "Junkuriboh", or by chaining "Rainbow Life", making it a very difficult loop for them to counter.
    • Controlling three copies of this monster will result in your opponent taking 1500 damage every time the effect of "Beelze" activates.
  • A similar infinite loop can result from equipping your opponent’s "Gearfried the Iron Knight" with "Cursed Armaments".
  • "Carboneddon" can be useful to quickly Summon a Level 7 Normal Dragon from your Deck, facilitating the Xyz Summon of this card.
  • Use this card alongside "Number 35: Ravenous Tarantula" so they won't be able to activate effects or Special Summon without taking Burn damage.
  • When this card is used in conjunction with the second effect of Dragoncaller Magician, this combo can take down most Dragon-type monsters.
  • This card can make a useful option in decks that regularly bring out level 7 monsters to bring out in a Main Phase 2 after the player has failed to attack for game and the opponent has few life points left. Even if the opponent could turn the game around, they might not be able to survive the burn damage.
