EditsEdit

  • Cards whose stats changed between appearances—including "Barox", "Dark Magician", "King of Yamimakai" and "Helpoemer"—are changed to remain consistent between appearances.
  • Keith Howard's okama yarō (オカマろう) insult directed at Pegasus is changed to Pegasus-chan (ペガサスちゃん). Okama yarō is a derogatory term for homosexual, cross-dressing or effeminate men. Chan is a term of endearment, which depending on context, is considered condescending when used to refer to adults.
  • Hexagrams are replaced with other symbols. This includes changing the Japanese name of "Spellbinding Circle" from "Curse of the Hexagram" to "Cursed Circle".
  • Title pages acknowledging fans are reworked to no longer mention them:
    • The title page for Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 91 (Duelist Duel 32): "Death to the Undead!" removes the box that lists the readers who submitted suggestions for Jonouchi's cards.
    • The title page for Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 109 (Duelist Duel 50): "The Deadly Duelist King!" is completely replaced. The new page is composed of images of Dark Yugi and Pegasus from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 126 (Duelist Duel 67): "The Perfect Defense" title page overlaid with an image of Kaiba.
  • The name of "Dragon Nails" is changed from やみりゅうぞくつめ (Yamiryūzoku no Tsume), meaning "Dark Dragon-Type Claws", to simply りゅうつめ (Ryū no Tsume), meaning "Dragon Claws" and its effect is changed from only working with Dark Dragon-Type monsters to working with monsters in general.
  • The spelling "Black Crown" is corrected to "Black Clown".
  • In Seto Kaiba's vision, Seto's clothing and Kisara's hair are changed to match their appearance later in the series, the stone slab is less jagged and Seto is looking at Kisara, rather than the slab.
  • Bobasa's slots for holding the Millennium Items are changed from being in his bare skin to being in his clothing.
  • A scene is added after Bobasa takes Yugi Mutou and his friends to Yugi's soul room; Yugi, Anzu, Jonouchi and Honda lie unconscious on the floor. Dark Bakura approaches them and takes the Millennium Puzzle, while an apparition of Shadi observes.
  • Some scenes are added after Seto has Kisara moved to a different room; Akhenaden goes to Kisara's old cell and murders the guard on duty and Seto watches Kisara, as she is brought to another part of the palace.
  • Zorc Necrophades's dragon-headed appendage is changed from pointing out between his legs to spiraling around his body.
