Tributes "Panther Warrior", "Rocket Warrior", and "Lava Golem" to Summon "Gilford the Lightning" (2800 ATK / 1400 DEF), immediately activating its effect: Marik's monsters are destroyed.
Attacks with "Gilford the Lightning", but Marik activates "Nightmare Mirror" to negate the attack, also inflicting 1000 damage to Joey (Joey: 2200 → 1200 Life Points) and allowing him to discard the "The Winged Dragon of Ra" from his hand.

Activates "Monster Reborn" to Special Summon "The Winged Dragon of Ra" from his Graveyard back to the field (? ATK / ? DEF), and transforms it into "Egyptian God Phoenix" (0 ATK / 0 DEF).

A breif scene of Marik explaining what Machine Duplication does is removed.
A close up of Joey screaming in pain is also removed.
Cut short is a scene of Joey saying that Gilford the Lightning is going to kill Marik.
