Using Siegfried's "Fortune Chariot", "Valkyrie Zwei" attacks Kaiba and whittles down his Life Points.

Zigfried removes Kaiba's first "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from play with his 3 Goddess cards and destroys another with the effect of "Nibelung's Ring", but Kaiba makes a comeback when he summons his second "Blue-Eyes" back from the Graveyard.

Siegfried removes Kaiba's first "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from the Duel with his 3 Goddess Cards and Destroys another with the Effect of "Nibelung's Ring", but Kaiba makes a comeback when he Summons his second "Blue-Eyes" back from the Graveyard.

However, Zigfried believes Kaiba's strategy is in vain, because at that point he summons his Valkyrie Brünnhilde" and removes Seto's "Blue-Eyes" from play with "Enchanted Sword Nothung".  On his next turn, Kaiba manages to avoid the effect of "Nibelung's Ring" with "Graceful Charity", allowing him to put his third "Blue-Eyes" in the Graveyard so he can remove it (along with "Pitch-Dark Dragon") from play to summon "Chaos Emperor Dragon". Seto's new monster destroys every card the players control on the field and in their hand, inflicting 1500 damage to Zigfried. However, he regains them all when he uses his "Magical Alms" and "Final Light" cards.

Seto makes another come-from-behind move when he draws himself a brand-new hand with "Card of Demise".  In the end, his three "Blue-Eyes", his "Luster Dragon #2", and "Chaos Emperor Dragon" are summoned back to the field through "Dimension Fusion". Zigfried's "Valkyrie Brünnhilde" destroys "Luster Dragon #2" and "Chaos Emperor Dragon", then avoids destruction from Kaiba's first "Blue-Eyes". However she is eventually destroyed by Kaiba's second "Blue-Eyes", paving the way for his third "Blue-Eyes" to attack Zigfried directly. Kaiba is able to win, but Zigfried declares it isn't over.

Featured Duel: Seto Kaiba vs. Zigfried von Schroeder - Part 2
+
Siegfried exposes his reasons for wanting to sabotage the KC Grand Prix: his company had always been outgrown by Kaiba Corporation. The party Seto remembered in which he and his father had assisted had actually been a cruel facade employed by Gozaburo to show how his business was better since Schroider Inc. was not going well.
 +

 +
Siegfried resented Kaiba because he was always told that unless he could go above him, he'd never get anywhere and wouldn't be a worthy heir to the company. He was forced to study with a photo of he and Kaiba together. One day, in a fit of frustration, he smashed it to forget about it.
 +

 +
Soon afterwards, Siegfried's father, unable to bear with the stress, had to forcibly resign. Thanks to some third-party agreements, the company was kept as it was and not bought. Siegfried decided to eliminate the military department. On that same day he was told that Seto, having just dethroned Gozaburo, had also eliminated the military department.
 +

 +
A race began between both companies to see who'd manage to develop and patent a new Duel Monsters system. Siegfried came up with Battle Boxes while Kaiba got ahead of him and signed an agreement with Pegasus to promote and patent the "Solid Vision" system. Siegfried was just one step too late.
 +

 +
Kaiba doesn't mind all of this talk and merely keeps the Duel up. Siegfried is determined to humiliate Kaiba and make Industrial Illusions firm a contract with them instead.
 +

 +
"I suppose you've learnt how foolish it is to stand up to the king of beasts!"
 +

 +
The Duel resumes and Seto makes another come-from-behind move when he Draws himself a brand-new hand with "Card of Demise".  In the end, his three "Blue-Eyes", his "Luster Dragon #2", and "Chaos Emperor Dragon" are Summoned back to the Field through "Dimension Fusion". However she is eventually Destroyed by Kaiba's second "Blue-Eyes", paving the way for his third "Blue-Eyes" to attack Siegfried directly.
 +

Kaiba is able to win, and Siegfried curses him while Kaiba explodes into triumphal laughter.

Intense Duel.

Seto Kaiba and Siegfried von Shcroider continue their Duel. After Seto destroys one of Siegfried's Valkyries with his "XYZ-Dragon Cannon", Siegfried manages to Draw "Nibelung's Treasure" and Equip Seto's Cannon with "Nibelung's Ring", preventing it from Attacking and also Destroying Seto's Deck with each passing Turn (due to "Nibelung's Ring's Effect). Using Siegfried's "Fortune Chariot", "Valkyrie Zwei" attacks Kaiba and whittles down his Life Points.

However, Siegfried believes Kaiba's strategy is in vain, because at that point he summons his Valkyrie Brünnhilde" and removes Seto's "Blue-Eyes" from the Duel with "Enchanted Sword Nothung". On his next Turn, Kaiba manages to avoid the Effect of "Nibelung's Ring" with "Graceful Charity", allowing him to put his third "Blue-Eyes" in the Graveyard so he can Remove it (along with "Pitch-Dark Dragon") from the Duel to Summon "Chaos Emperor Dragon". Seto's new Monster Destroys every Card the Players Control on the Field and in their Hand, inflicting 1500 Damage to Siegfried. However, he regains them all when he uses his "Magical Alms" and "Final Light" Cards.

Seigfried's back story.

Siegfried resented Kaiba because he was always told that unless he could go above him, he'd never get anywhere and wouldn't be a worthy heir to the company. He was forced to study with a photo of he and Kaiba together. One day, in a fit of frustration, he smashed it to forget about it.

Kaiba doesn't mind all of this talk and merely keeps the Duel up. Siegfried is determined to humiliate Kaiba and make Industrial Illusions firm a contract with them instead.

"I suppose you've learnt how foolish it is to stand up to the king of beasts!"

Siegfried's "Valkyrie Brünnhilde" Destroys "Luster Dragon #2" and "Chaos Emperor Dragon", then avoids destruction from Kaiba's first "Blue-Eyes". However she is eventually Destroyed by Kaiba's second "Blue-Eyes", paving the way for his third "Blue-Eyes" to attack Siegfried directly.

Kaiba is able to win, and Siegfried curses him while Kaiba explodes into triumphal laughter.

Featured Duel: Seto Kaiba vs. Siegfried von Schroider - Part 2

Duel continues from previous episode.

Seto Kaiba's Turn

 • Instead of a normal Draw Phase, "Nibelung's Ring" forces Seto to Draw two Cards: if any Monsters are Drawn, one must be Discarded to the Graveyard. Neither of Seto's cards are Monsters, so he keeps both.
 • Sets a Card.

The layout of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" changes.

In the Japanese version, when Kaiba displays his 3 "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" they all use the newer layout, but later when 1 of them is shown in his Hand it uses the old layout. Another thing most people do not notice is when Siegfried uses Pot of Greed it also has the old layout.
