"Rise of the Parasites", known as "The Blazing Dragon" in the Japanese version, is the one hundred and twenty fifth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V anime. It aired in Japan on October 2, 2016 and in Canada on January 12th 2018. It became available with official subtitles via Crunchyroll on November 22, 2017.
As Yuya and Yuto try to save Lulu, Celina appears before them. As according to "The Doktor's" plan, the Parasite Monsters drive Yuya and Yuto into a corner. Then, something abnormal happens to Yuya! As Odd-Eyes and Dark Rebellion appear on the field, Yuya sports a demonic expression on his face!

Summary
Sora and Yuri's Duel continues, but while Yuri's LP is untouched and he controls the 2700 ATK "Ancient Gear Hydra", Sora is battered and weary, with no monsters and only 1600 LP. Sora activates the Spell Card, "Frightfur Fusion", banishing "Frightfur Bear" and two copies of "Edge Imp Frightfuloid" to Fusion Summon. He chants, "Unusual plaything possessed by demons! Root out and destroy the plebeians who dare rebel against you! Fusion Summon! Come forth and appear, chimeric fusion of all toys! Frightfur Chimera!" He orders "Frightfur Chimera" to attack "Ancient Gear Hydra", and "Frightfur Chimera" blasts a rocket out of its bear head, destroying "Ancient Gear Hydra" and reducing the unfazed Yuri to 3900 LP. Sora then activates the effect of "Frightfur Chimera", Special Summoning destroyed "Ancient Gear Hydra" from the Graveyard to his side of the field. "Frightfur Chimera" also gains 300 ATK for each monster Sora Summoned with its effect, bringing it to 3100, and Sora sneers that Yuri's monster is his now. Yuri appears impressed, commenting that Sora worked hard and he smirks that Sora is well-learned. Sora angrily attack Yuri directly with "Ancient Gear Hydra", which launches a triple stream of blue energy at Yuri, who smiles as it strikes.
Back in the Doktor's laboratory, "Parasite Queen" roars at Yuto and the newly Summoned "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon". Celina taunts Yuto to attack and take her head. Yuya warns to be careful; the girls are obviously planning something. Yuto reassures Yuya that he knows, so he'll go with this plan. He swiftly leaps up the platforms of "Crossover" and grabs and activates an Action Card, "Single Destruction", which can destroy one monster his opponent controls if they only control one. Lulu is shocked that Yuto used an Action Card, as a blast emerges from the card, aimed for "Parasite Queen". Celina states that it won't be happening (in the dub, Celina instead states that Yuto's actions are starting to bug her); sending one of the equipped "Fusion Parasites" to the Graveyard to negate "Parasite Queen's" destruction. The "Fusion Parasite" detaches from "Parasite Queen", intercepting the energy blast. With the loss of one of the equipped "Fusion Parasites", the ATK of "Parasite Queen" falls by 300, to 2100. Yuto lands, noting the effect of "Fusion Parasite". Yuya points out that they'll be able to inflict greater damage now, and Yuto agrees, suggesting that they get rid of the other "Fusion Parasite". He orders "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon" to attack "Parasite Queen" with "Mauling Mandible Charge", and "Dark Rebellion" charges forwards with glowing tusks.
Unfazed, Celina activates the effect of "Parasite Queen", equipping one the "Fusion Parasite" that is already equipped to "Queen" to "Dark Rebellion" and decreasing its ATK by 800. The other "Fusion Parasite" quickly detaches itself from its queen and latches onto "Dark Rebellion", reducing it to 1700 ATK. Yuto curses that their plan backfired, and Yuya realizes what the girls were aiming for. Celina follows up with her "payoff", the Trap Card "Power Parasite", which allows her to bring back the "Fusion Parasite" in her Graveyard and equip it to "Parasite Queen" to increase its ATK by 300. As the "Fusion Parasite" attaches to "Parasite Queen", increasing its ATK back to 2400,the effect of "Queen" increases its ATK by 300 additional points since another "Fusion Parasite" is on the field. (The close up shot of "Fusion Parasite" attaching itself to "Parasite Queen" is omitted in the dub). "Parasite Queen" rises to 2700 ATK, and she prepares to counter the attack of "Dark Rebellion". Yuya protests that they can't stop the attack (in the dub, Yuya claims that they must find a way to dethrone her), and Yuto quickly activates the Quick-Play Spell Card, "The Phantom Knights' Round Blaze from his hand, banishing two "The Phantom Knights" card from his Gravyeard to destroy all monsters on the field and end the Battle Phase. He banishes the two copies of "The Phantom Knights of Lost Vambrace", and explosions surround "Dark Rebellion" as it stops up short. Celina snaps that it's useless, sending the equipped "Fusion Parasite" to the Graveyard to prevent the destruction of "Parasite Queen" again. Yuto does the same, and barriers of red energy surround their monsters as their ATK returns to their original values. Celina praises Yuto for using the effect of "Fusion Parasite" for himself (in the dub, Celina taunts Yuto that all his bizzare flashes have amounted to nothing) but Yuto warns them not to be hasty; he's not done yet. He activates the last effect of "Round Blaze" to inflicts 800 damage to a player who had a monster sent to the Graveyard during the turn's Battle Phase. With a "Fusion Parasite" going to both Celina and Lulu's Graveyards, they each lose 800 LP, bringing them down to 1200 and 3200 respectively. Yuto then Sets a card and ends his turn.
Annoyed, Lulu announces that it's her turn and she draws a card. She activates the effect of Celina's Continuous Spell Card, "Parasite Factory", allowing her to equip her second copy of "Fusion Parasite" from her Deck to "Parasite Queen" and take control of it, which also increases its ATK by 300, to 2100 via the effect of "Parasite Queen". She quickly follows up by activating "Parasite Reborn", equipping two "Fusion Parasites" from the Graveyard to "Dark Rebellion" (The close up shot of "Fusion Parasites" attaching themselves to "Dark Rebellion's" chest is omitted in the dub). Via the effect of "Parasite Queen", the ATK of "Dark Rebellion" falls to 900, while the ATK of "Parasite Queen" rises to 2700. Lulu smiles as she orders "Parasite Queen" to attack "Dark Rebellion" (in the dub, she tells it to give Dark Rebellion the royal treatment) as "Parasite Queen" fires a stream of acid at "Dark Rebellion" from its maw. Yuto quickly looks around, and he spots an Action Card and has "Dark Rebellion" boost him into the air. Yuto quickly grabs and activates the Action Spell, Evasion, to negate the attack. "Dark Rebellion" narrowly dodges "Parasite Queen" acid as it hits the steel door behind them, burning a hole through it. Lulu tells Yuto that it's not over yet (in the dub, she congratulates Yuto but adds that she still has one more chance) and she activates "Parasite Maneuver", allowing Parasite Queen to attack once again. "Parasite Queen" blasts spurts of acid from its spiracles at "Dark Rebellion". Yuto gasps in shock as Lulu warns him that he can't beat her. Grabbing onto a platform, Yuto pivots around, flips off several other platforms, and grabs another Action Card, "Miracle", preventing his dragon's destruction and cutting the damage in half as a barrier forms around "Dark Rebellion" to protect it. Nevertheless, one of the acid streams hits Yuto's leg and he screams as he falls to 100 LP (in the dub, Lulu also says that the attack still stings). Yuto's body hits one of the tanks in the room and he loses consciousness, switching control of the body back to Yuya as he falls to the ground. Yuya asks if Yuto is all right, but he receives no answer - and one of the Parasite Monsters from the tank falls on Yuya's shoulder and makes its way towards his ear.
Lulu Sets a card and ends her turn. Celina declares her turn and she draws, then activates the effect of "Parasite Factory", equipping another "Fusion Parasite" from her Deck to "Parasite Queen" and retaking control of it, while also increasing the ATK of "Parasite Queen" by its own effect to 3000. Yuya takes note of the 3000 ATK, and he quickly activates his Rollerboots and races forwards, thinking that he needs an Action Card. Celina snaps that she won't let him, and as Yuya leaps up the platforms, Celina acrobatically flips between them, but Yuya manages to snatch the nearest Action Card before she can, much to her anger. Then she starts in surprise as she witnesses the Parasite Monster crawling into Yuya's ear. The watching Doktor, with Rin and Zuzu standing behind him, gasps that his insect is getting inside Yuya's head. As Yuya lands on the ground with his Action Card in hand, the Doktor laughs with satisfaction that Yuya will now be under his control, and he raises his "Fusion Parasite" card, telling Yuya to swear allegiance to him. Yuya feels something as the Parasite Monster reaches his brain and digs in its forelegs. The orbs on its joints glow, causing Yuya to collapse to the floor. Celina and Lulu smirk as the former proclaims that Yuya is their comrade now.
But then darkness erupts from Yuya's brain tissue, smothering the Parasite Monster.
Yuya rises to his feet, furiously asking them just who they think is their comrade (in the dub, he states that there is no reason for him to join them). His glowing red eyes snap open and he blasts out a shockwave. The Doktor protests, asking why Yuya wasn't brainwashed. Yuya then winces, and he closes his eyes and clamps his hand over his face as he returns to normal. Although shocked by the turn of events, Celina declares her Battle Phase and orders "Parasite Queen" to attack "Dark Rebellion". "Parasite Queen" blasts acid from its spiracles again, but Yuya activates a Trap Card, "The Phantom Knights of Wrong Magnetring", allowing him to negate the attack by discard a card in his hand with the same name as one in his Graveyard. He discards the "Miracle" that he just picked up, and "Wrong Magnetring" emerges from the card and absorbs the acid with its ring, as Yuya explains that "Wrong Magnetring" is also Special Summoned as an Effect Monster. Celina Sets another card and ends her turn, while Yuya prepares to draw. (In the dub, Celina also proclaims that if Yuya doesn't know when to quit then she will be happy to prolong his pain and suffering.)
Back at Sora's Duel, Yuri is down to 1200 LP from the direct attack. He narrows his eyes, declares his turn, and he draws a card and activates "Ancient Gear Inspection" to return an "Ancient Gear" monster form the field to the hand to draw another card. "Ancient Gear Hydra" dissipates, and Yuri tells Sora to return his card. Sora angrily throws it back, and Yuri draws. (In the dub, Yuri also adds that he can't stand Sora's "lollipop sticky fingers" touching his card). Sora admit that since he lost "Ancient Gear Hydra", "Frightfur Chimera" loses the 300 ATK that it gained, but he claims that he still has the advantage with the 2800 ATK "Chimera" and the higher LP. Yuri smiles happily and closes his eyes, much to Sora's shock. Yuri activates the Spell Card, "Polymerization", fusing "Ancient Gear Golem", "Ancient Gear Gadget", and "Ancient Gear Wyvern" in his hand. He chants, "Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 10! Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem!" Yuri attacks with "Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem", which destroys "Frightfur Chimera" with a single slash, reducing Sora's LP to zero and flinging his body into a nearby pillar. Yuri walks up to him, congratulating him, and he prepares to seal Sora into a card (he tells him, "Game over" in the dub). Sora grits his teeth, cracking his lollipop, but before Yuri can activate the function of his Duel Disk, Yugo's voice tells him to hold it, as he and Aster run up.
Yuya winces as he prepares to draw, and Yuto asks if he's okay. Relieved that Yuto is, Yuya replies that he's fine and he declares his turn, drawing "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon". He activates the effect of "The Phantom Knights Wrong Magnetring", equipping all of the "Fusion Parasites" on the field to "Wrong Magnetring", and then Tributing it since it has four equipped to draw two cards. He draws "Odd-Eyes Accel" and "The Phantom Knights' Possession", and Lulu bemoans that Yuya was able to remove all of their "Fusion Parasites", while Celina adds that Yuya also drew a new hand. Yuya activates the Spell Card, "Odd-Eyes Accel", allowing him to Normal Summon "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" without Tribute. Both Dimension Dragons roar at their enemies, and the Doktor notes that Yuya has finally Summoned his ace monster, but his "Parasite" Deck has yet to show everything off. Celina promptly activates the Trap Card "Parasite Spell" since she controls a "Parasite" monster, allowing her to activate a Spell Card from the Graveyard. She chooses Lulu's "Parasite Discharge", allowing her to Special Summon her third "Fusion Parasite" from her Deck. Then since a "Parasite" monster was Special Summoned, Lulu activates her Continuous Trap Card, "Parasite Generator", which Special Summons her third "Fusion Parasite" from her Deck, and then the remaining ones from the Graveyards. It also treats each one as two, and prevents them from being destroyed by effects. The six "Fusion Parasites" divide into twelve, and Lulu reminds Yuya that the effect of "Parasite Queen" increases its ATK by 300 for each, to 5400, much to Yuya's shock. Lulu comments that it was a waste of time removing them earlier.
Yuya grits his teeth, and then the Doktor's laughter echoes through the room as he appears on a holographic screen. He comments that Yuya sees how terrifying his "Parasite" Deck truly is. Yuto appears next to Yuya as the ask if this is the Doktor, and the Doktor introduces himself. Yuya angrily asks where Zuzu is, and the Doktor laughs that he's afraid that Yuya won't be able to see her again, as he's about to rot away here. He strokes Zuzu's face as he notes that even were Yuya to get here, Zuzu is already completely under his control. Yuya gasps in horror as the Doktor laughs and cuts the connection.
Celina and Lulu's smirks fade as Yuya shakes with rage and the "Fusion Parasites" recoil, as Lulu asks what is happening. Celina notes that the "Fusion Parasites" are afraid. Yuya growls that they might be trying to act like high-and-mighty animals, but insects are just insects. His glowing eyes snap open and darkness flows freely from his body, taking the shape of a dragon, and Lulu and Celina gasp in shock. Yuya activates the Spell Card, "The Phantom Knights' Possession", which will cause an Xyz Monster he controls to gain the Level of another monster he controls. Yuto, with his eyes glowing red, explains that his "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon" will take on the Level 7 of "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon", and the two dragons glow purple as "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon" becomes Level 7. Yuya overlays the Level 7 "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" and "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon", and Yuya chants, "Dragon with dual-colored eyes! Resurrect from the deep darkness. With the flame of rage, incinerate everything on the earth!" Then Yuya and Yuto chant, "Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 7! The blazing dragon called by calamity! Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon!" ("By joining together two of the strongest dragons in the universe, I'll create a dragon that's all the rage! I Xyz Summon Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon!" in the dub.) "Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon" appears with 3000 ATK as Celina repeats its name; the new Xyz-Pendulum monster resembling "Odd-Eyes" this time rather than "Dark Rebellion". Yuya activates the effect of "Raging Dragon", detaching all of its Overlay Units to destroy every other card on the field and increase its ATK by 200 for each card destroyed. "Raging Dragon" absorbs both Overlay Units and begins glowing with violent purple energy. Celina smiles and she calls Yuya an idiot, asking him if he's forgotten. Lulu reminds him that the effect of "Parasite Generator" prevents their "Parasite" monsters from being destroyed, and Celina adds that this protection is twofold via the effect of "Parasite Plant" protecting "Parasite Queen".
Yuya explains that the effect of "Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon" will also negate the effects of all Spell and Trap Cards on the field, much to Celina's shock, and Lulu gasps that it's a vicious effect. The flaming spikes of "Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon's" wings blast out streams of fire that puncture the floor, and as the girls gasp in fear, "Raging Dragon" twists its body, slicing the streams through Celina and Lulu's cards and destroying them. Yuto explains that since nine cards were destroyed, "Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon" gains 1800 ATK, bringing it up to 4800, much to Lulu's horror. Yuya declares his Battle Phase, and Celina comments that there's two of them, so they'll be able to fight back even if Yuya defeats one of them. Yuya snaps that there won't be another turn, and he and Yuto explain that "Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon" can also attack twice per turn, and the girls gasp in terror. "Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon" surrounds itself in fire, and then blue flames form a ring in front of its maw. As Yuya orders "Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon" to attack directly, blue flames surround him, giving him a demonic expression, and he and Yuto order the "Inferno Fury Strike" attack of "Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon". "Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon" blasts a firebolt from its mouth, which is amplified by the ring of blue flames into a massive surge of energy that blasts Celina and Lulu off their feet, reducing their LP to zero and devastating the walls behind them, reducing their LP to zero. The Action Field fades as Yuya pants heavily and calms down, the darkness dissipating.
Celina and Lulu's bodies lie smoking on the ground, and groans from Celina prompt Yuya to run to her, asking if she's okay and where the Doktor is. Yuto then takes control and he and Yuya tell Lulu to pull herself together. Shay finally wakes up, gasping Lulu's name, and Yuya asks if Shay saw what happened. Celina quickly takes advantage of Yuya's distraction to kick him in the stomach, and as Yuya yells at them to wait, she and Lulu flee through the hole in the wall. Shay struggles up, telling Yuya to go after them; he's fine. Yuya agrees and runs off, and Shay collapses again.
Declan, Riley, and Yusho stop short as blue-jacketed Duel Academy students approach them. One of them tells the trio that the Professor is waiting, and he asks them to come with him.
Yuya runs down a hallway, calling for the girls to wait, and Yuto spots the girls disappearing to their right. Yuya pursues them into a darkened room, which seals shut behind them. Flanked by Celina, Lulu, Rin, and Zuzu, the Doktor introduces himself to Yuya and welcomes him. Yuya cries Zuzu's name and rushes forwards, but retractable bars slide into place, trapping him in a cage. Yuya curses, and he calls for Zuzu as the Doktor asks how he likes his special insect cage. Yuya calls for Zuzu again, asking her if she recognizes him, and the Doktor reminds Yuya that she's his insect's captive before laughing and contacting Leo through a large screen. He states that Yuya Sakaki has been secured as Yuya begs Zuzu to open her eyes, and Leo looks away. The Doktor tells Yuya to sit there for a while, and he leaves with Lulu, Rin, Celina and Zuzu following him. Yuya begs Zuzu to listen to him, but it's to no avail, and as she vanishes from the room, he rests his head against the bars in sorrow.
In the Professor's chambers, the students salute Leo and state that they have brought them. Leo orders them to be brought in, and he looks at Declan, Riley, and Yusho, welcoming Yusho. In the Doktor's control room, Yuya sees Yusho on the screen, and he cries, "Father!"

Yuya draws "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon". Yuya activates the effect of "Wrong Magnetring", equipping all Equip Cards on the field to it. Yuya then activates the effect of "Wrong Magnetring", Tributing it to draw a card for every two Equip Cards it had when it was Tributed, meaning four ("Queen": 3000 → 1800).
