SummaryEdit

Declan compliments Yuya on bringing out the full power of the Four Dimensional Dragons, but he notes that they don't stand a chance against his strongest portfolio (in the dub, he states that Yuya hasn't mastered Dueltaining, and unless he does and finds the fun in Dueling again, he'll never win). Allie asks Gong what a portfolio is, and Gong admits that he's not sure, but Declan likely means the combination of his "Super Doom Kings" (their conversation is cut from the dub). Declan activates the effect of "D/D/D Super Doom King Bright Armageddon", which forces Yuya to target one of his Pendulum Monsters. As Yuya only controls one - "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" - he is forced to choose "Odd-Eyes", and then the effect of "Bright Armageddon" negates the effects of all other monsters Yuya controls. The yellow orb at the center of "Bright Armageddon" glows, and blasts yellow arrows of light that surround "Starving Venom Fusion Dragon", "Clear Wing Synchro Dragon" and "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon" with a blue aura, while "Odd-Eyes" is protected by a spherical barrier of yellow energy. Then Declan activates the effect of "D/D/D Super Doom King Dark Armageddon", detaching an Overlay Unit and destroying a non-Pendulum Monster on Yuya's field for each one he controls. As he controls three, he can destroy three cards -."Dark Rebellion", "Clear Wing" and "Starving Venom". A portal appears above the three dragons, who are transformed into yellow energy and dissipate into the portal with a flash of lightning as Yuya cries their names in horror. Finally, Declan activates the effect of "D/D/D Super Doom King Purple Armageddon", destroying "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" and dealing Yuya damage equal to its ATK. "Purple Armageddon" incinerates "Odd-Eyes" with a blast of flames from its navel head, and Yuya is blasted off the platform as his LP falls to 1250. Gong and Sylvio cry his name in shock, and Allie, Tate, Frederick, Skip and Yoko all gasp in horror. Fortunately, Yuya is able to flip off a lower platform and land on the ground in a crouch. Declan asks Yuya how he can make him smile now that his dragons are gone. Yuya says he doesn't know, but he plans to make everyone smile. As Riley cries in Henrietta's arms, Yuya states that Declan and will be able to smile again, and he'll bring back Zuzu too (in the dub, Yuya refers to Riley as a girl here; the first time that Riley's gender is stated after her regression). He grasps his pendant with one hand, and he asks Yuri, Yugo, and Yuto to lend him his power one more time. Yuri states that their power is already Yuya's, and Yugo reminds him that they were originally one person. Yuto tells Yuya not to be afraid, reminding him that the audience will have fun if he does. Yuya agrees; to make Z-ARC smile, he has to smile.

Yuya, Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri all draw.

Yuya declares that he'll connect all of their power and all four of them draw together. They've drawn "Odd-Eyes Fusiongate", and Yuri, comments that it's here. Yugo states that the gate to their new pathway has opened, while Yuto encourages Yuya to go. Yuya activates the Quick-Play Spell Card, claiming that it's the answer that they're derived. He leaps up the trampolines and onto a platform as he explains that the effect of "Odd-Eyes Fusiongate" will Special Summon "Odd-Eyes" from his Extra Deck and "Starving Venom" from his Graveyard with their effects negated, and then allow him to Fusion Summon by using them as Fusion Material. Declan is shocked that Yuya is fusing two of the Dimension Dragons, and Yuya fuses "Odd-Eyes" with "Starving Venom". He chants, "Dragon with dual colored eyes!" while Yuri declares, "Become one with the poisonous dragon." Yuya chants, "Be the power that leads to supremacy!" They both declare, "Fusion Summon!" and Yuya chants, "Appear! Level 10! Dragon with gem-like eyes of kindness! Odd-Eyes Venom Dragon!" (In the dub, Yuya chants, "Now the power of Pendulum combines with the forces of Fusion to create a brand new dragon! I Fusion Summon! Odd-Eyes Venom Dragon!" to Fusion Summon "Odd-Eyes Venom Dragon".

Crow, Shay, Sora and Alexis Rhodes watch in shock from Duel Academy; Crow and Shay gasp in shock, and Alexis calls the new dragon pure, and Sora expresses shock that Yuri's dragon was purified (their comments are cut from the dub).

Yuya activates the effect of "Odd-Eyes Venom Dragon", increasing its ATK by the combined ATK of all monsters Declan controls until the End Phase. The three red orbs in the head of "Odd-Eyes Venom Dragon" each glow with the image of one of Declan's "Super Doom Kings", and then it absorbs their power as purple energy surges into its skeletal wings in large flowing spikes, raising its ATK to 13,800. In Heartland, Alan celebrates the high ATK, and Saya compares it to blooming flowers (their comments are cut from the dub). Yuya declares his Battle Phase and he attacks "Bright Armageddon" with "Odd-Eyes Venom Dragon", but Declan comments that he can't do it just by force (in the dub, he claims that his monsters can help one another out). He activates the effect of "Purple Armageddon", return the battling monster's attack to its original amount, and "Purple Armageddon's" eyes glow and it sends out sonic waves that cause the purple energy empowering "Odd-Eyes Venom Dragon" to dissipate. "Odd-Eyes Venom Dragon" returns to 3300 ATK, less than the 3500 ATK "Bright Armageddon", and as Allie gasps that the ATK went down, Tate notes that "Bright Armageddon" now has more ATK, while Frederick cries that he can't watch.

As "Purple Armageddon" blasts a column of red energy from its core, Yuya jumps into action using the trampolines and grabs an Action Card - "Wonder Chance". He realizes that it won't help him, and "Odd-Eyes Venom Dragon" is destroyed, flinging Yuya backwards again and reducing him to 1050 LP. After he lands, Yuri notes that this isn't all that they've got, and Yugo urges Yuya to continue. Yuya activates the effect of "Odd-Eyes Fusiongate", which allows him to send it the Graveyard when the Pendulum-Fusion Monster that it summoned is destroyed, allowing him add "Odd-Eyes Synchrogate" to his hand. Declan is surprised that Yuya has another "Gate" (in the dub, he expresses annoyance rather than surprise).

Yuya activates the Quick-Play Spell Card, "Odd-Eyes Synchrogate", Special Summoning "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" from his Extra Deck and "Clear Wing" from his Graveyard with their effects negated. "Odd-Eyes" is also treated as a Level 1 Tuner monster, and Yuya can then use them to Synchro Summon, so he tunes the Level 1 "Odd-Eyes" with the Level 7 "Clear Wing". Yuya chants, "Dragon with dual colored eyes," and Yugo chants, "Gain the shining wings of light." Yuya chants, "Soar to the summit of supremacy!" and he and Yugo both declare, "Synchro Summon!" Yuya chants, "Appear! Level 8! Dragon with piercing eyes of breakthrough! Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon!" (In the dub, the Synchro Summoning sequence and subsequently the Summoning chant is cut short). Jack Atlas watches from a street in New Domino City and he excitedly notes that he can hear Yuya's beat of existence for the first time, before encouraging him to go down his own path (this scene is cut from the dub).

"Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon" activates its effect.

Yuya activates the effect of "Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon", destroying all monsters Declan controls and then "Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon" will gain one of those monsters' ATK. Gong is shocked by the power of the effect, and Sylvio excitedly calls "Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon" amazing. "Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon" glows, blasting a radiant light at the "Super Doom Kings". But Declan counters with the effect of "Dark Armageddon", which prevents his Pendulum Monsters from being destroyed by effects (in the dub, he furiously calls Yuya's attempt to destroy his monsters pathetic). Undaunted, Yuya then commands "Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon" to attack "Dark Armageddon", much to Sylvio and Gong's shock, as they note that "Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon" only has 3000 ATK. "Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon" charges forwards, and "Dark Armageddon's" thorns glow purple, blasting out a wave of purple energy that atomizes "Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon", reducing Yuya to 550 LP and blasting him to the edge of the platform. But Yuya smiles, much to the shock of Sora, Alexis, Crow, and Shay. Sora realizes that Yuya attacked on purpose, and Alexis recalls that when Yuya's Fusion Monster was destroyed, he added "Synchrogate" to his hand. Crow and Shay realize that now that his Synchro Monster has been destroyed, Yuya will move to Xyz Summoning (in the dub, he does not realize this, and Alexis suggests that Yuya may have hit his head; he seems to be having more fun the more trouble he's in. Shay and Crow's comments are cut from the dub). Yugo tells Yuto that he is counting on him and Yuto tells Yugo to leave it to him (their exchange is cut from the dub). Since the Pendulum-Synchro Monster that it summoned was destroyed, Yuya sends "Synchrogate" to the Graveyard, allowing him to add "Odd-Eyes Xyzgate" from his Deck to his hand.

Yuya immediately activates "Odd-Eyes Xyzgate", Special Summoning "Odd-Eyes" from his Extra Deck and "Dark Rebellion" from his Graveyard with their effects negated. "Dark Rebellion" also becomes a Level 7 monster, and Yuya can then use them to Xyz Summon. He overlays his two monsters, and he chants, "Dragon of dual colored eyes," and Yuto chants, "Unleash that black scale of wrath, eradicate all opposing enemies!" They both declare, "Xyz Summon!" and Yuya chants, "Come forth! Rank 7! Dragon with eyes of rage! Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon!". " Alexis, Sora, Crow and Shay all watch in shock, collectively commenting how Fusion, Synchro, and Xyz have connected with one another. Yuya then activates the second effect of "Odd-Eyes Xyzgate", banishing it and "Odd-Eyes Synchrogate" and "Odd-Eyes Fusiongate" from his Graveyard to increase the ATK of "Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon" by 1000, to 4000, and to allow it to attack twice this turn. Then he activates the Action Spell, "Wonder Chance", granting "Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon" an additional attack. Allie realizes that it was the card that Yuya used earlier, and Frederick excitedly exclaims that Yuya can now attack all three of Declan's monsters. Yoko notes that Yuya can destroy the "Super Doom Kings" by battle even if he can't destroy them with card effects, and Sylvio encourages Yuya to do it. Yuya commands "Rebellion Dragon" to attack all three "Super Doom Kings" with "Sweeping Static Charge", and "Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon" sprouts its own energy wings and the set of wings it generated when it was equipped with "Supreme Wing", and it blasts a twisting column of purple energy at the three "Super Doom Kings", causing a massive explosion and a cloud of dust to blanket the area. Jack watches silently, while in Heartland, Grace, Gloria, Mamoru Noro, Aster, Saya, Alan, and Kite all look on in varying stages of shock. Alan calls it amazing as Dennis watches with the two boys that Yuya saved, and Shay asks if Yuya took the "Super Doom Kings" out. Crow states that he can't see through the smoke, and then Sora gasps, and Alexis protests that it can't be (in the dub, Shay states that it's over, but Crow warns them that this is Declan that they're talking about; Sora and Alexis's reactions are cut).

The "Super Doom Kings" survive.

Sure enough, the dust clears to reveal Declan standing with his three monsters intact. As his LP falls to 2000, Declan comments that it's too bad - while "Purple Armageddon" is on the field, Pendulum Monsters he controls cannot be destroyed by battle. As Sylvio gasps, "No way…" (his reaction is cut from the dub), Yuya admits that now that the Battle Phase is over, the effect of "Odd-Eyes Xyzgate" ends and the ATK of "Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon" returns to normal (in the dub, he adds that it didn't go as planned). Yuya Sets a card, ending his turn (in the dub, he comments that he must still be at Duel Academy since Declan is "taking him to school". Gong comments that now Yuya has no cards left in his hand; even "Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon" won't be able to survive the next turn, so he'll have to depend on that one face-down card (in the dub, he tells Yuya to get his game in gear and calls Yuya out for keeping his cool while Gong can barely sit still). Declan adjusts his glasses and as Riley continues to cry, Declan notes that if Riley can't smile then he will become a bomb that will resurrect Z-ARC in the future (in the dub, he thinks in frustration that he thought that Yuya had learned what the one piece missing from his Dueltaining was; but it looks like he was wrong). Skip holds his head in pain and begs Yuya to save Zuzu (in the dub, he cries that it's over, and Zuzu is gone for good).

Yuya protects himself with "Abysmal Entertainment".

Declan declares his turn and draws, and then he activates the effect of "Purple Armageddon" effect to destroy "Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon" and inflict its 3000 ATK to Yuya. "Purple Armageddon" destroys "Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon" with a surge of flame, and Yuya activates a Trap Card, "Abysmal Entertainment" as a Pendulum Monster was destroyed, placing it in his Pendulum Zone and preventing him from taking damage this turn. An energy dome surrounds him, deflecting the damage, and the Scale 4 "Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon" is placed in Yuya's Pendulum Zone. Yuya vows to show Declan his entertainment, and tears pour down Skip's face as he gasps Yuya's name gratefully (in the dub; Yuya comments that it was a close one, but close doesn't cut it; Skip's reaction is cut). Declan challenges Yuya to show him his entertainment before ending his turn (in the dub, he warns Yuya that all he's doing is prolonging the inevitable).

Yuya declares his turn and draws (commenting that they'll see in the dub), and then he activates the Pendulum Effect of "Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon", placing a Pendulum Monster from his deck into his other Pendulum Zone. Yuya chooses the Scale 12 "Performapal Five-Rainbow Magician", and the high Scale causes Gong and Sylvio to react in joy; Sylvio noting that Yuya can now Summon Level 5 to 11 monsters at the same time (in the dub, he jokes that he didn't know Yuya could count so high). Yuya chants, "Swing, my soul's pendulum! Draw an arc of light in the sky! Pendulum Summon! Revive from the Extra Deck!" as he Pendulum Summons "Odd-Eyes Venom Dragon", "Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon", "Performapal Ignition Eagle" and "Performapal Odd-Eyes Seer" from his Extra Deck. Declan activates the effect of "Bright Armageddon" as a monster was Normal or Special Summoned, negating the effects of all monsters Yuya controls, expect one Pendulum monster of his choosing (in the dub, he tells Yuya to Summon all the monsters he wants; it changes nothing). As "Bright Armageddon's" core glows and it blasts out energy arrows that cloak Yuya's other monsters in the blue aura, Yuya chooses "Odd-Eyes Seer" and it is surrounded by a yellow sphere of energy, then immediately activates the effect of "Odd-Eyes Seer", banishing it to Special Summon "Odd-Eyes" from his Graveyard. Declan reminds Yuya since that he Normal or Special Summoned a monster again, the effect of "Bright Armageddon" will activate once more and he tells him to choose as "Bright Armageddon's" core glows and it blasts out energy arrows. This time, Yuya chooses "Ignition Eagle", which is protected by the yellow energy shield, while his Dragons all have their effects negated again.

Yuya then jumps up several trampolines and grabs an Action Card. He activates the Pendulum Effect of "Performapal Five-Rainbow Magician", who concentrates energy into its hands and then unleashes numerous rainbow beams across the field. To Declan's utter shock, every monster on the field falls to zero ATK.

Jack is shocked that Yuya reduced the ATK of his own monsters in addition to his opponent's (in the dub, he notes that he can see why Yuya reduced the ATK of Declan's monsters, but not why he reduced the ATK of his own). Shay wonders how Yuya is supposed to fight like that, and Alan gasps that Yuya is smiling despite this; Saya comparing him to a child who wants to play all the time. Yuya explains the Pendulum Effect of "Five-Rainbow Magician" now controls the field. While a player has four or fewer cards Set in their Spell & Trap Zone, their monsters' ATK is reduced 0, they cannot battle, and they cannot activate their effects. However, if a player has five Set cards, then the limit disappears and the ATK of those monsters will be doubled. Yuya Sets his first card – the Action Card that he just found, and he explains that Setting a card will end the player's turn. He states that players can automatically Set the cards that they add to their hand outside of their Draw Phases (in the dub, he comments that he knows it's a lot to ponder, but Declan's the genius). Declan comments that the first to get all five will determine the winner. Yuya confirms that when they Set their fifth card, their turn won't end and they can attack. Declan agrees, and he suggests that they get started. He prepares to draw, but Yuya holds up his hand to stop him – if he draws, then he can't Set a Spell or Trap Card this turn.

Yuya running in place on the wheel.

Declan snaps that he knows (in the dub, he sarcastically thanks Yuya for the warning), and he leaps off his platform and begins to jump across the trampolines, announcing that he will skip his Draw Phase with the Pendulum Effect of "Five-Rainbow Magician" (in the dub, he states that he just has to get five Action Cards before Yuya does). Yuya comments that Declan gave the correct answer as he leaps into an oversized cannon that blasts him into the air. He's about to grab an Action Card from the side of a large ball, but Declan, standing on the hand of his "Bright Armageddon" helping him reach, grabs it first. Declan Sets his first card and ends his turn (telling Yuya that he's too slow in the dub). Yuya comments that this is Declan for you; he learnt the rules quickly and used his monster to aid him. Yuya bounces off another trampoline and he lands on a rotating wheel – but it begins to roll, forcing Yuya to run on it to maintain his balance as he declares his turn (in the dub, he protests, "Aw, me and my big mouth!"). Unopposed, Declan has "Bright Armageddon" take him to a second Action Card, which he promptly Sets, ending Yuya's turn (in the dub, rather than announce this, Yuya is desperately begging, "Notlikethisnotlikethisnotlikethis!", fully aware of how embarrassing it would be to lose because of this). Declan declares his turn, and he finds and Sets a third Action Card with the aid of "Bright Armageddon", ending his turn. Gong gasps that Declan is stealing Yuya's show, and Sylvio comments that Declan is always so cool while flying and bouncing with his monsters (a reference to the Action Duel chant). Skip states that this is an Action Duel; Declan is clearly getting into it if he's participating like this. Yoko agrees that Yuya's entertainment is just getting started; he's involving not just Declan, but the monsters and the audience (The crowd reactions are cut from the dub).

Yuya is finally able to jump off the wheel and onto "Odd-Eyes'" head, who boosts him up as he declares his turn. He grabs his second Action Card from an orange ball and then he activates his Rollerboots and rides up a spiralling track. Saya celebrates that it's three against two now, and Alan tells Yuya to keep up his momentum. Declan declares his turn, and Yuya rockets off the end of the track and past a purple ball, grabbing his third Action Card and Setting it. Sora cries that Yuya is getting them one after another, and Crow cheers that now it's even. Yuya lands on a hilly track, declaring his turn as he ramps down and leaps into mid-air above the whole Action Field.

In Duel Academy, Ray's spirit floats in Leo 's collection sphere as Leo types at his holographic screens. He comments on the waveform that he has observed, and he asks if Ray is responding to something.

Yuya grabs his fourth card while riding "Ignition Eagle".

Back in the Pendulum Dimension, Riley's tears have vanished and she reaches towards the field (in the dub, Henrietta states that Riley has stopped crying). Declan, thanks to "Bright Armageddon", grabs his fourth Action Card and Sets it to end Yuya's turn. Gong cries that Declan Set his fourth card, and Sylvio gasps that it's within reach. Declan declares his turn as Yuya blasts across the field on "Ignition Eagle" and he grabs and Sets his fourth Action Card as well. Declan mutters in frustration that the Pendulum Effect of "Five-Rainbow Magician" will force him to end his turn. Sylvio gasps that the next card Set will determinate the outcome of the Duel, and Gong agrees.

Ray continues to respond more and more; Leo gasps in shock that it's definitely reacting (in the dub he cries that he can't control it any longer); as the light changes color, the beating of the waveform is getting faster. Crow, Shay, Sora, Alexis, Jack, Tony, Damon, Shinji, Frank, Tarren, Amanda, Chojiro, Grace, Gloria, Mamoru Noro, Aster, Saya, Alan, Kite, Dennis and the kids, Sun Shadow, Moon Shadow, Kit, Julia, Dipper, Reed, Trout, Halil, Kev, Pierre, Iggy, Grizzlepike, Aura, Sylvio, Gong, Allie, Frederick, Tate, Skip, Yoko, Mr. Strong, Nico Smiley, Henrietta, and Riley all watch in silence as the beating continues.

Declan and Yuya fly past the orange ball for their last Action Cards.

Yuya declares his turn, and he and Declan both fly past an orange ball, Declan on "Bright Armageddon" and Yuya leaping off "Ignition Eagle". Gong asks who got it, and Yuya lands and rolls across a pole platform. Five Set Action Cards appear on Yuya's field, and Tate (Sylvio in the dub) cheers that Yuya got it as Declan – an Action Card in hand – lands in frustration. Yuya states that now his monsters are no longer limited by "Five-Rainbow Magician", and their ATK is doubled. "Odd-Eyes Venom Dragon" rises to 6600 ATK, "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" to 5000, "Ignition Eagle" to 2000, and "Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon" to 6000. Yuya declares his Battle Phase, attacking "Bright Armageddon" with "Odd-Eyes". Sylvio cheers that it's Yuya's win. Declan states the he won't let Yuya – he activates the effect of "D/D Savant Einstein" from his hand since his opponent attacked, sending it to the graveyard to allow him to Set a card a Spell Card from his hand (in the dub, he notes that getting those five cards first against any other Duelist would have ensured victory – unless that Duelist was him). Declan Sets his fifth card and his monsters' ATK double as well, all to 7000. Gong and Sylvio gasp in horror that now it's 5000 vs 7000 ATK. Yuya activates the effect of "Performapal Ignition Eagle", and "Ignition Eagle" creates a spark between its two electrodes. Yuya explains that this effect will Special Summon "Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon" from his Pendulum Zone and Set "Ignition Eagle" in its place, and then increase the ATK of "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" by that of "Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon". The spectre of "Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon" roars alongside "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" as it rises to 8000 ATK. Declan asks if Yuya has forgotten (in the dub, he states that Yuya has obviously forgotten this) – since he Normal or Special Summoned a monster, the effect of "Bright Armageddon" is activated once more. "Bright Armageddon's" core glows once more and it blasts out its rain of energy arrows. Yuya chooses "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" – the rest of his monsters, which are cloaked in the blue aura, will have their effects negated. The battle continues, but Declan calls it useless; the effect of "Purple Armageddon" prevents all Pendulum Monsters he controls from being destroyed in battle, and furthermore its other effect will return the ATK of "Odd-Eyes" to its original value. "Purple Armageddon's" eyes glow and it releases its shockwaves, causing "Odd-Eyes" to fall to 2500 ATK. Declan yells that this is the end, and he tells to Yuya to destroy himself (he calls it a sorry end to a sorry Duel).

Yuya's ten "Performapal" fireworks.

Spotlights snap on Yuya as he calls, "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!" Declan shocked that Yuya is still Dueltaining (in the dub, Yuya asks Declan who said it was over, and Declan snaps that it is over). Yuya turns to the audience and he declares that his partner, "Odd-Eyes", will now become stronger thanks to his friends. Waving his arms in an arc, causing a rainbow burst to appear between them, Yuya explains that the power that connects Pendulum is an arc of light. Declan asks, "an arc of light?" in shock as Yuya tells the audience to pay attention (in the dub, Yuya states that he has a rainbow of monsters ready, prompting Declan to repeat the statement). He activates the Pendulum Effect of "Performapal Ignition Eagle", banishing all cards in his Pendulum Zones and destroying all Set cards on the field. With "Five-Rainbow Magician" gone, the ATK of every monster on the field returns to normal. Yuya then explains that he will "gorgeously" send "Performapals" from his Deck to the Graveyard (calling the Graveyard "the night sky") equal to the number of Set cards destroyed. Yuya raises his hand and he tells the crowd to do this with him (in the dub, Yuya admits that he's learned something that he'd forgotten during the battles with Z-ARC and the dimensions; Dueling is just fun, and he suggests that all he needs to enjoy it are some "Performapal" pyrotechnics). He counts down from five along with the crowd and shouts "IGNITION!" once he reaches zero. Ten fireworks blast into the sky and take the shape of several of Yuya's "Performapals" - "Performapal Hip Hippo", "Performapal Whip Snake", "Performapal Cheermole", "Performapal Gongato", "Performapal Gumgumouton", "Performapal Lizardraw", "Performapal Monkeyboard", "Performapal Odd-Eyes Unicorn", "Performapal Trumpanda", and "Performapal Turn Toad". The fireworks then converge and meld into the pattern seen in the air when Yuya Pendulum Summons, the enlarged version of Yuya's Pendant swinging in the air. Ootomo, Kakimoto, Yamabe, Olga, Professor Marco, and The Sledgehammer also watch the spectacle with the crowd. Riley begins to reach for the fireworks.

Declan loses.

Yuya declares that it's the finale – he explains that due to the Pendulum Effect of "Ignition Eagle", "Odd-Eyes" will gain 500 ATK for each Pendulum Monster he controls, which results in a 2000 ATK boost, bringing it to 4500 ATK. Yuya leaps onto "Odd-Eyes'" back and he tells his monster to do it (he declares "It's showtime" in the dub) – "Odd-Eyes" leaps into the air and attacks with "Spiral Flame Strike". Declan reminds Yuya that the effect of "Purple Armageddon" will prevent his monsters' destruction by battle, but Yuya reminds him in turn that he will still take damage – which "Odd-Eyes" doubles (in the dub, it is Declan who notes that he'll still take damage). He punches forwards, declaring "Reaction Force!" ("It's a wrap!" in the dub) and "Odd-Eyes" unleashes its orange burst of flames around the crimson burst. Declan is blasted away by the attack, his LP falling to zero, and he smiles.

Silence dominates the stadium as videoscreens across the dimensions show that Yuya Sakaki has won (in the dub, there is cheering). Declan looks around as Riley's laughter echoes across the stadium and Henrietta whispers her name in joy. Yuya gasps that Riley is laughing. Declan holds up Yuya's hand and says that he has passed his protest (in the dub, he adds that he knew that Yuya would remember; that his Dueltaining can only make people smile if it makes him smile first). The crowds across the dimensions cheer as Ray continues to respond to the Duel and Leo looks on in utter shock. Light blots out the room, and beams blast out of the walls, transporting all Yuya's friends and allies to the Pendulum Dimension, including those sitting in the Paradise City Stadium, and they all materialize on the field from three beams of light with Yuya and Declan – Alexis, Sora, Shay, Crow, Frank, Tarren, Amanda, Chojiro, Grace, Gloria, Mamoru, Aster, Saya, Alan, Kite, Dennis, Sylvio, Gong, Allie, Frederick, Tate, Skip, Yoko, Jack, Henrietta, Riley, and Leo.

Ray appears to Yuya and Declan.

Ray's spectre appears before Yuya and Declan within a glowing yellow orb of as everyone watches. Yuya looks at it in shock, as Yuto smiles at Lulu who appears inside the orb with Ray, and Shay smiles. Next Yugo appears, smiling with Yuya at Rin, who Amanda, Tarren, and Frank all recognize, and then Yuri appears, smiling at Celina as Sora and Alexis watch. Yuri's image fades, and Yuya walks up to the orb and he reaches into it. Ray's hand grabs his, and the orb dissipates, the glow around her body shredding away to reveal Zuzu standing there safe and sound, her bracelet gone.

Zuzu is revived.

Zuzu tells Yuya that she always believed in him, and a joyful Skip bursts into tears, as do Allie, Frederick, and Tate. at her return. Zuzu states that she always knew Yuya would make people smile with his Dueling. Yuya welcomes Zuzu home, and Zuzu tearfully states that she's back (in the dub, he muses that he tries, and Zuzu replies that he sure does). Sylvio, Allie, Tate, and Yoko smile, while Frederick gets his shivers and Gong and Skip cry manly tears as Riley continues to laugh. Declan turns to his family and Leo's student and comments that he bets that Z-ARC is laughing alongside Riley. Leo agrees, and he states that the worlds have become one again thanks to Yuya's Dueling. Declan seems surprised by this and he bursts out laughing (in the dub, Leo states that Yuya has made everyone smile; Declan states that Yuya made everyone except him smile, but barely finishes his sentence before bursting out laughing).

Yusho appears.

Suddenly the stadium lights darken and a spotlight appears on Yusho Sakaki, who stands on the archway above the entrance to the stands. He states that if Yuya thinks that this is the end then he is mistaken. Yuya and Zuzu are shocked at this as Yusho claims that his real fight began the moment he passed the test. Yusho activates his Duel Disk as he asks Yuya if he is prepared to continue fighting as pro. Yuya replies that of course he is; from now on he will continue to make people smile with his Dueling, and he activates his own Duel Disk, vowing to be a Dueltainer that surpasses his father (in the dub, he warns his father that he taught him a lot, but didn't teach him everything). Yuya runs forwards with his assembled friends smiling at him and he cries, "The fun has just begun!" (in the dub, he cries, "It's time to swing into action!")

Featured Duel: Yuya Sakaki vs. Declan AkabaEdit

Duel continues from the previous episode.

Yuya Sakaki has 3750 LP and controls "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" (2500/2000), "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon" (2500/2000, ORU: 2), "Clear Wing Synchro Dragon" (2500/2000), and "Starving Venom Fusion Dragon" (2800/2000), all in Attack Position. Declan Akaba has 3500 LP and controls "D/D/D Super Doom King Purple Armageddon" (3500/3000), "D/D/D Super Doom King Bright Armageddon" (3500/3000), and "D/D/D Super Doom King Dark Armageddon" (3500/3000, ORU: 3), all in Attack Position, as well as "D/D Savant Copernicus" (  1) and "D/D Savant Newton" (  10) in his Pendulum Zones.

Turn 2: Declan
Declan activates the effect of "D/D/D Super Doom King Bright Armageddon" as a monster was Normal or Special Summoned, negating the effects of all monsters Yuya controls except that of a Pendulum Monster that Yuya controls of his choice. Yuya chooses "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon". Declan activates the effect of "D/D/D Super Doom King Dark Armageddon", detaching an Overlay Unit ("Dark Armageddon": 3 → 2 ORU) to destroy non-Pendulum Monsters Yuya controls equal to the number of Pendulum Monsters that Declan controls. He destroys "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon", "Clear Wing Synchro Dragon", and "Starving Venom Fusion Dragon". Declan then activates the effect of "D/D/D Super Doom Purple Armageddon", destroying a monster Yuya controls and inflicting damage equal to its ATK on the field. He destroys "Odd-Eyes" (Yuya: 3750 → 1250 LP).

Turn 3: Yuya
Yuya draws and subsequently activates "Odd-Eyes Fusiongate", Special Summoning "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" from his Extra Deck and a Fusion Monster from his Graveyard with their effects negated, then Fusion Summoning a Fusion-Pendulum Monster using them as Fusion Materials, and then "Fusiongate" will remain face-up on the field long as the monster that was Fusion Summoned by its effect does. He Special Summons "Odd-Eyes" (2500/2000) and "Starving Venom" (2800/2000) and fuses them to Fusion Summon "Odd-Eyes Venom Dragon" (3300/2500). As it was Fusion Summoned using monsters on the field, the effect of "Venom Dragon" allows it to gain the ATK of all monsters Declan controls until the end of the turn (Odd-Eyes Venom Dragon: 3300 → 13800). "Venom Dragon" attacks "Bright Armageddon", but Declan activates the effect of "Purple Armageddon"; once per turn he can return the ATK of one of Yuya's battling monsters to its original ATK ("Venom Dragon": 13800 → 3300). Yuya finds the Action Card "Wonder Chance". "Odd-Eyes Venom Dragon" is destroyed (Yuya: 1250 → 1050 LP).

Yuya activates the effect of "Odd-Eyes Fusiongate" as the Fusion-Pendulum Monster that it Fusion Summoned was destroyed, sending it to the Graveyard to add "Odd-Eyes Synchrogate" from his Deck to his hand, which he subsequently activates, allowing him to Special Summon "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" from his Extra Deck treated as a Level 1 Tuner monster and a Synchro Monster from his Graveyard with their effects negated, then Synchro Summon a Synchro-Pendulum Monster using them as Synchro Materials, and then "Synchrogate" will remain face-up on the field long as the monster that was Synchro Summoned by its effect does. He Special Summons "Odd-Eyes" ("Odd-Eyes":   7 → 1) and "Clear Wing" (2500/2000) and tunes the Level 1 Tuner monster "Odd-Eyes" with the Level 7 "Clear Wing" to Synchro Summon "Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon" (3000/2500). Yuya activates the effect of "Wing Dragon", destroying all monsters his opponent controls and then having "Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon" gain ATK equal to the ATK of one of the destroyed monsters, but the effect of "Dark Armageddon" prevents Pendulum Monsters that Declan controls from being destroyed by card effects. "Odd-Eyes" attacks "Dark Armageddon" (Yuya: 1050 → 550 LP).

Yuya activates the effect of "Odd-Eyes Synchrogate" as the Monster that it Synchro Summoned was destroyed, sending it to the Graveyard to add "Odd-Eyes Xyzgate" from his Deck to his hand, which he subsequently activates. It lets him Special Summon "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" from his Extra Deck and an Xyz Monster from his Graveyard treated as a Level 7 monster with their effects negated, then Xyz Summon an Xyz-Pendulum Monster using them as Overlay Units, and then "Xyzgate" will remain face-up on the field long as the Xyz-Pendulum Monster that was Xyz Summoned by its effect does. He Special Summons "Odd-Eyes" and "Dark Rebellion" (2500/2000) and overlays the Level 7 Dragon-Type "Odd-Eyes" and "Dark Rebellion" to Xyz Summon "Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon" (3000/2500, ORU: 2). Yuya activates the effect of "Xyzgate" banishing it from his field and both "Fusiongate" and "Synchrogate" from his Graveyard to increase the ATK of the Xyz Monster Xyz Summoned by the effect of "Xyzgate" by 1000 until the end of the Battle Phase and allow it to attack twice during the Battle Phase ("Rebellion Dragon": 3000 → 4000 ATK) Yuya activates "Wonder Chance", allowing a monster he controls to attack an additional time during each Battle Phase. "Rebellion Dragon" attacks "Purple Armageddon", Bright Armageddon" and "Dark Armageddon", but the effect of "Purple Armageddon" prevents Pendulum Monsters that Declan controls from being destroyed by battle (Declan: 3500 → 2000 LP). Yuya Sets a card.

Turn 4: Declan
Declan activates the effect of "Purple Armageddon", destroying "Rebellion Dragon" and inflicting its ATK to Yuya. As a Pendulum Monster he controlled was destroyed, Yuya activates "Abysmal Entertainment", placing his destroyed Pendulum Monster in his Pendulum Zone (  4) and preventing him from taking damage this turn.

Turn 5: Yuya
Yuya activates the Pendulum Effect of "Rebellion Dragon", placing a Pendulum Monster from his Deck into his other Pendulum Zone. He places "Performapal Five-Rainbow Magician" (  12). Yuya Pendulum Summons "Odd-Eyes Venom Dragon", "Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon", "Performapal Odd-Eyes Seer", (100/1800) and "Performapal Ignition Eagle" (1000/1000), all in Attack Position from his Extra Deck. As a monster was Normal or Special Summoned, Declan activates the effect of "Bright Armageddon", negating the effects of all monsters Yuya controls except for a Pendulum Monster of Yuya's choice. Yuya chooses "Odd-Eyes Seer" and subsequently activates its effect as it was Pendulum Summoned in Attack Position, Special Summoning an "Odd-Eyes" Pendulum Monster from his Graveyard, then banishing "Odd-Eyes Seer". He Special Summons "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" (2500/2000). As a monster was Normal or Special Summoned, Declan activates the effect of "Bright Armageddon", negating the effects of all monsters Yuya controls except for a Pendulum Monster of Yuya's choice. Yuya chooses "Ignition Eagle".

Yuya finds an Action Card. The Pendulum Effect of "Five-Rainbow Magician" is applied to both players. As long as a player has four or less Set cards in their Spell & Trap Zones, the ATK of all monsters they control become 0, and those monsters cannot attack or activate their effects. If a player does not skip their Draw Phase, they will not be able to Set Spell/Trap Cards during their turn. If a player controls five Set cards in their Spell/Trap Zones, then these effects will be negated, and the ATK of all monsters they control will be doubled. In addition, if a player adds a card to their hand outside of the Draw Phase, they will be allowed to Set that card, and when a player Sets a card, the current turn is ended. Yuya Sets the Action Card that he obtained.

Turn 6: Declan

Turn 7: Yuya

Turn 12: Declan

Turn 13: Yuya
Yuya skips his Draw Phase. Yuya and Declan both find Action Cards, and Yuya Sets his first (Odd-Eyes Venom Dragon: 0 → 6600 ATK, Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon: 0 → 6000 ATK, Ignition Eagle: 0 → 2000 ATK, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon: 0 → 5000 ATK). "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" attacks "Bright Armageddon", but Declan activates the effect of "D/D Savant Einstein" from his hand as his opponent is declaring an attack, sending it from his hand to the Graveyard to Set a Spell/Trap Card from his hand ("Purple", "Bright", and "Dark Armageddon": 0 → 7000 ATK). As a monster he controls is attacking, Yuya activates the effect of "Ignition Eagle" Special Summoning a Pendulum Monster from his Pendulum Zone, increasing the ATK of the attacking monster by the ATK of the Summoned monster, and placing "Ignition Eagle" in his Pendulum Zone. He Special Summons "Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon" (Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon: 5000 → 8000 ATK). Declan activates the effect of "Purple Armageddon", returning the ATK of one of Yuya's battling monsters to its original ATK ("Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon": 8000 → 2500 ATK). Yuya activates the Pendulum Effect of "Ignition Eagle", banishing all cards in his Pendulum Zones and sending "Performapal" monsters from his Deck to the Graveyard equal to the number of cards in the Spell & Trap Zones, then destroying all cards in the Spell & Trap Zones to increase the ATK of a monster he controls by 500 for each Pendulum Monster he controls until the end of the turn. Yuya sends "Performapal Hip Hippo", "Performapal Whip Snake", "Performapal Cheermole", "Performapal Gongato", "Performapal Gumgumouton", "Performapal Lizardraw", "Performapal Monkeyboard", "Performapal Odd-Eyes Unicorn", "Performapal Trumpanda", and "Performapal Turn Toad" from his Deck to his Graveyard and targets "Odd-Eyes" (Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon: 2500 → 4500 ATK). The attack continues, and the effect of "Purple Armageddon" prevents the destruction of "Bright Armageddon", and the effect of "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" doubles the battle damage as it is battling a Level 5 or higher monster (Declan: 2000 → 0 LP).

TriviaEdit

  • Just as with Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's and Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL, no opening or ending sequence was played for the finale of Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V.
    • However, near the end of the episode, the 2nd opening theme "Burn!" was played similar to 5D's and ZEXAL who used their respective 1st opening themes for their ending.

DifferencesEdit

  • According to "V-Jump" preview for this episode, "D/D/D Flame King Genghis", "D/D/D Gust King Alexander" and "D/D/D Wave King Caesar" were supposed to be used by Declan, but they were never used nor did they appear at all.[1]
  • As there is no opening or ending sequence played in the Japanese version, this episode is substantially longer than usual episodes. As a result, the dub cut out more footage than usual to edit it down to normal lengths; largely crowd reactions.
