"The Opening of the Duel School Tournament!! (デュエルスクールトーナメント開催！！ Dyueru Sukūru Tōnamento Kaisai!!) is the seventh chapter of the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V The Strongest Duelist Yuya!! manga. It was first published April 1, 2016, in the Saikyō Jump magazine.
Summary
Yuya and his friends are invited to join a Duel School Tournament hosted by LDS to decide who is the Number 1 Duel School. And what's more - the winner gets the opportunity to face Reiji Akaba in a Duel.
Featured Duel: Yuya Sakaki vs Hokuto Shijima
Note: This Duel uses a special gameplay in order to make it simpler for the children, which makes the Monster Cards have no effects whatsoever.
Duel is shown from an unspecified turn. An unknown planetarium-themed Field Spell Card is active, allowing the players to use Action Cards, but they may only have one in their hand at a time. Yuya has 3700 LP, controls "Performapal Hip Hippo" in Attack Position, and has "Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer" and "Performapal Skullcrobat Joker" in his Pendulum Zones. Hokuto has 3400 LP and controls "Constellar Pollux" and "Constellar Zubeneschamali", both in Attack Position.
Hokuto's turn
Hokuto Tributes "Pollux" to Tribute Summon "Constellar Virgo". "Virgo" attacks and destroys "Hip Hippo" (Yuya 3700 → 2200), while "Zubeneschamali" attacks Yuya directly (Yuya 2200 → 100). Hokuto then overlays his two Level 5 monsters to Xyz Summon "Constellar Pleiades".
Yuya's turn
Yuya uses the Pendulum Scales of "Pendulum Sorcerer" and "Skullcrobat Joker" to Pendulum Summon "Performapal Fire Mufflerlion", "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon", and "Performapal Monkeyboard". He then obtains an Action Card, "Starlight Up", and activates it, increasing the ATK of each monster on the field by its respective Level x 100 ("Odd-Eyes": ATK 2500 → 3200; "Monkeyboard": ATK 1000 → 1600; "Fire Mufflerlion": ATK 800 → 1100). "Odd-Eyes" attacks and destroys "Pleiades" (Hokuto 3400 → 2700), while "Monkeyboard" and "Fire Mufflerlion" attack Hokuto directly (Hokuto 2700 → 1100 → 0).
