Yuna Goha and Rovian unexpectedly show up at UTS's office. Yuna demands Yuhi and co. to hand their office over. This angers Yuhi greatly, but despite that, Yudias still challenges Rovian to a Duel, with UTS itself at stake. After receiving some encouragement from Yuamu, Yudias begins the Duel, aiming for a new Velgeard at the same time!

SummaryEdit

Yudias explains what happened to him.

At the UTS office, Yuhi is shocked to learn the Rovian Bandits didn't do anything to Yudias and admits he thought Rovian would have torn into him and compressed him into the shirt form. As Yuhi imagines it, Yudias confirms to him, Yuamu, Manya, Manabu, Nyandestar and Bochi that didn't happen and he simply ran out of strength and collapsed when he finally reached Yuna and the others, transforming into the shirt-form when he did. Yuamu asks how Yudias returned to normal and Yudias admits he's not sure, though Manabu claims the matter has been stirred up enough and the important thing is Yudias is back in one piece. Yuhi agrees and holds up the box Yudias had been delivered in, only for three cards to fall out. He tells Yudias that he dropped them and Yudias thanks Yuhi as he picks the cards up, only to see a vision of Zuwijo and Mitsuko. Yuhi suggests they come up with a plan, though he needs to head to the restroom first, while Yuamu is deep in thought, something Manya picks up on. Yuamu admits she's not sure she can put her worries into words as she remembers Rovian questioning her and Yuhi's motives during their Duel before snapping.

The Rovian Bandits come to UTS.

Meanwhile Yuhi has just opened the restroom to reveal Venus Ganimi, who thanks him for the restroom and strolls out past the shocked boy. They hurry to the sitting room and gasp in shock as they find Yuna, Menjaburo, and a a violet-haired boy sitting on the couches, while Rovian stands with her back to them, helping themselves to refreshments as Menjaburo comments that it's a long time noodle see. The twins aren't happy about Yuna eating their special cake and Yudias calls Rovian's name, while Tazaki notes that this is Rovian Kirishima as he, Mr. Yagi, Ms. Maki, Ms. Purisaki, Mr. Omaeno and two other UTS employees look into the room from behind Yudias. Omaeno notes that curiosity over Rovian's surname seems to be up to Tazaki and Purisaki glances back at Ganimi, Venus Ganie, and several Rovian Bandits, gasping over how many aliens are here. Yuhi angrily asks what they want and Manabu warns them that taking aliens out of the Alien Residential Area is a breach of the law even if he doesn't know how they did it. Yuna claims she doesn't care about an MIK underling's threats, much to Manabu and Nyandestar's indignation, and wipes her mouth as she explains they came to talk business with UTS. Yuhi puts on false politeness as he repeats her statement and then snaps that he doesn't care why she's here, and Yuna tells them to give her UTS, again prompting false politeness from Yuhi as he snaps they'll never give her their company. Yuna reassures them she doesn't expect to get it for free and Yuhi snaps they'll never accept the offer no matter how big it is. Yuna places an intricate stone on the table glowing with rainbow colors, and as everyone looks at it in awe (Manya in particular entranced by its beauty) Yuna claims it to be a rare ore only found in Mutsuba Town and suggests it could be worth billions or even trillions on the market. Yuhi sidles up to his sister and asks the president what they should do, though Yuamu tells him not to balk just because he saw an expensive rock. Yuna stretches and points out her master Rovian is offering to buy this dingy building upfront, so why must they waver? Yuna insulting the building sets Yuhi off again, who points out her Goha Company office is just the same and he shouldn't take this from someone renting the second floor of Ramen Hut. The claim she's renting sets Yuna off and she snarls she's angrier than planets, the solar system, and even the entire galaxy, but as she and Yuhi glare at one another, Yuamu wonders what Rovian is planning and why she wants UTS, wondering if she's after that.

To everyone's shock, Yudias agrees to consider Rovian's request to buy UTS if she defeats him in a Rush Duel.

Yudias declares they will consider Rovian's request, much to everyone's surprise, though he states they will only do so if Rovian can defeat him in a Rush Duel, much to Yudias and Purisaki's protests. Rovian strums her Duel Guitar, reciting "No music, no Duel, no Life Point" and Yuna gushes over her space poem before realizing Rovian is considering Yudias' offer. Yuhi protests they can't give UTS to Rovian and Maki suggests the slow down and reroll the situation, but Yuamu asks why not, much to everyone's surprise, and she claims they have to after Rovian made such a fool out of them. Yuhi and Tazaki gasp her name and Rovian turns and asks Yudias what he desires to achieve with this Duel, but Yudias claims he has no desire. Yuhi is surprised and asks if Yudias doesn't want his Duel Disk back, but Yudias explains something is calling out within him and a new Velgeard lies beyond it. Rovian strums her guitar, claiming the train of Yudias' Rush Duel has no destination, no tickets, and no sales, chanting "no, no, no" as everyone - even her own allies - watch in shock, though Yuna simply claims Rovian's space poems are so romantic and promptly yanks Menjaburo and the violet-haired boy up to clap, though as they do so the violet-haired boy smiles and looks away, while outside UTS, London Kirishima's platform shoe clacks on the street.

Due to missing a thruster, Valvelgear can only produce two zones for Yudias to Duel with.

Outside, Rovian comments that she believes Yudias and her will get along well as Ganimi, Yuna and Menjaburo pump pom-poms and cheer Rovian on, while Tazaki, Purisaki and Maki wave UTS fans and cheer for Yudias, the other elderly employees waving from a picnic basket and Yudias' friends cheering him on. Yudias holds up his Deck and declares "Velgear Riva" as he assumes his true form, while Yuhi tosses Valvelgear at him. Yudias catches the shrunken spaceship and thanks Yuhi, declaring "Valvelgear on!" as Valvelgear transforms into a Duel Disk and he straps it on, stating his name. Rovian strums her Duel Guitar and activates it, stating her own name, but as they call "Go Rush!!" only two card zones emerge from Valvelgear, much to everyone's shock. Yuhi remembers when Yuna damaged Valvelgear by throwing the bag containing Fisher Sukai at it, dislodging a thruster, and Manabu realizes that Yudias will only be able to use two Monster Zones, Manya gasping this is bad. Yudias notes that one may not always be fully equipped on the battlefield and Valvelgear's current state is his responsibility. The Velgearians cheer Yudias' name and Yudias declares he shall Duel like this, causing the holographic dome to appear around him and Rovian, who gives an impressed hum.

Yudias is only able to Summon two monsters.

Yudias declares his turn and a Velgear Draw, his hand containing "Heaven Gancel", "Transamu Arrive", "Shadow Sentinel", "Vortex Shooter", and "Transamu Rainac". He Summons "Transamu Rainac" and "Vortex Shooter" and Yuhi asks what Yudias will do now, as he's already Summoned the monsters he could, while Yuamu notes Yudias should shore up his defenses and Manabu admits Yudias only has two Monster Zones to work with. Yudias then Tributes "Vortex Shooter" to Tribute Summon "Heaven Gancel", before Setting a card to end his turn.

Singing "Turn ta-ta-turn" Rovian declares her turn and draws, then immediately pays 1000 LP to activate the card she drew, the Spell Card "Confiscation", falling to 3000 LP as she explains that Yudias must reveal his hand and then she chooses a card from it to send to the Graveyard. Yudias reveals the only card in his hand, "Shadow Sentinel", and discards it, and then Rovian Summons "Bluegrass Stealer", "Radrouge Mael", and "Taiban Bluemai". She glances at the last card in her hand before Setting it, then activates the effect of "Taiban Bluemai" since Yudias has four or less cards in his hand, returning "Shadow Sentinel" and "Vortex Shooter" from Yudias' Graveyard to his Deck, much to his surprise, and then forcing him to draw until he has five cards in his hand. Yuhi is surprised Rovian is letting Yudias draw five cards and Menjaburo points out Rovian is serving him tsukumen with salt and claims she's generous, though Manya knows there has to be a catch. Yudias doesn't understand why Rovian is forcing him to draw, but proceeds, declaring a Velgear Draw and drawing "Greatest Galactica", "Silver Seyfert", "Meteorhino", "Sorapuyo", and "Transamu Craione". Rovian then activates the effect of "Radrogue Mael", making both players without any cards in their hand draw a card, and she draws, then activates the effect of "Bluegrass Stealer", sending the top card of her Deck ("Robbarim") from the top of her Deck to the Graveyard, then if she sent a Psychic Type monster she can treat "Radrogue Mael" as two Tributes for a Tribute Summon this turn. Tributing "Radrogue Mael" to Tribute Summon, Rovian chants ""Pizzicato folk music and thunderous blues. The world dyed in alternative pickings. Prophecy Phrase of the Colors of the Wind. Greetings."

Yuna cheers that it's already time for the season of the refreshing "Prophecy Phrase" and Rovian pays 1000 more LP to activate its "Nobody on Stage" effect, sending all the cards in Yudias' hand to the Graveyard and inflicting 200 damage to him for each. As Yudias discards his hand, "Prophecy Phrase" radiates green energy from its dagger that reduces Yudias to 3000 LP as he gasps the 1000 damage, and Manya realizes this is why Rovian allowed him to draw five cards, Manabu gasping this was her goal. Rovian adds that all monsters Yudias controls lose ATK equal to the damage he took and "Transamu Rainac" falls to 600 ATK, while "Heaven Gancel" drops to 1100. Then Rovian activates an Equip Spell Card, "Flame Arms - Fretberge", and equips it to "Prophecy Phrase", who takes up a flaming sword guitar as Rovian explains it will increase the ATK of the equipped monster by 400, to 2600, and that it will prevent Yudias from attacking monsters that aren't equipped with an Equip Spell. Yudias gasps "What?!" and Yuhi asks if this means Yudias can't attack anything except "Prophecy Phrase" as Rovian attacks "Transamu Rainac" with "Taiban Bluemai", destroying it and reducing Yudias to 2600 LP as he gasps the 400 damage. "Bluegrass Stealer" then attacks "Heaven Gancel" by blasting energy bolts from her guitar, destroying it and reducing Yudias to 2500 as he gasps the 100 damage. Bochi yelps that Yudias only has 2500 LP and Yuna cheers that it'll be over soon as she and Menjaburo stand atop Ganimi's shoulders. But Yudias activates a Trap Card, "Transamu Arrive", Special Summoning "Heaven Gancel" from his Graveyard, which appears with its original 2100 ATK, so "Prophecy Phrase" attacks "Heaven Gancel" with "Eight Bars of God", generating flames in the shape of a bird to destroy "Heaven Gancel", reducing Yudias to 2000 LP as he gasps the 500 damage. The UTS employees all gasp in shock and Manabu cries that it's an intense Duel, Yuhi admitting how strong Rovian is. Rovian strums her guitar, singing "G-G-G-Good to go" and ends her turn.

Meanwhile, a garage opens before London...

Yudias powers up "Vanishing Heliacal Riser".

Yudias declares his turn and a Velgear Draw, drawing five cards: "Asterova", "Crack Neutron", "Vanishing Heliacal Riser", "Orbit Skater", and "Strange Attractor", noting that he can't defeat "Prophecy Phrase" with this battle formation, but he will be unable to continue past his Velgeard if he doesn't, so there's only one way forward. He Summons "Crack Neutron" and "Orbital Skater", then Tributes the two to Tribute Summon, chanting "Even should despair and darkness feel like an eternity upon you, the dawn will surely come! We shall cut through the darkness and rise into a sky yet unseen! Vanishing Heliacal Riser!" Yuhi cheers that it's Yudias' new ace, though Venus Ganiko and Ganie point out that it can't "rise" higher than the ATK of "Prophecy Phrase" and Yudias can't attack monsters without an Equip Spell due to the effect of "Flame Arms - Fretberge". Yudias then returns a monster from his Graveyard to his Deck to activate the effect of "Vanishing Heliacal Riser", increasing its ATK by 200 until the end of the turn, and Yuhi cheers that "Vanishing Heliacal Riser" has 2600 ATK as it powers up. Yuna points out it still isn't stronger than "Prophecy Phrase" as Rovian smiles, and Yudias adds that he can also draw a card since Rovian controls a face-up Spell Card. He declares a Velgear Draw and cheers that he got it, then Summons "Astroeva", before holding up the card he drew - the Equip Spell Card "Galactica Xiphos".

Yudias reveals an Equip Spell.

Yuamu and Yuhi recognize it as an Equip Spell and Yuna asks how Yudias can have it. Yudias holds the card in front of the sun, squinting as it passes past the card, and then sees another vision of Zuwijo and Mitsuko, this time of Zuwijo splashing the Earthdamar sap across him. Yudias gasps that Zuwijo entrusted the card to him, much to his friends' shock, and Yuna protests that only they should have Equip Spells and wonders if a Velgearian spy did this as Menjaburo gasps "No, no, no!" In Zuwijo's hideout, Mitsuko understands that Zuwijo had her infiltrate the Rovian Bandits to determine their plans, but isn't sure why Zuwijo gave Yudias the Equip Spell. To her surprise, Zuwijo comments that he wonders, claiming there's three, no, one certain reason why he did: they as Velgearian warriors cannot flee or escape from that fate, uttering the Velgearian words he spoke when Yudias defeated him. Yudias repeats those words too, declaring the words her heard in his state of suspended consciousness were not a dream and he is sure Zuwijo was there. Manabu can't believe Zuwijo helped Yudias and Yuhi wonders what Zuwijo was thinking; Yudias doesn't know, but has a chance for victory with the power of the Spell Zuwijo entrusted to him, and beyond this Rush Duel lies a new guidance for his Velgeard, prompting a quiet strum from Rovian.

He activates the Equip Spell, chanting "Long, long ago, at the edge of a galaxy far, far away... A blade was born from the brilliance of the stars. Now, in the name of Yudias Velgear, grant a new power unto Vanishing Heliacal Riser! Equip Spell! Galactica Xiphos!" A large blade appears and attaches itself to the wrist of "Vanishing Heliacal Riser" and Yuhi cheers, while Yuamu quietly admits surprise that Zuwijo gave Yudias that card, as he didn't seem like someone so easily swayed, though there's no use doubting it given that something big will be set in motion at the end of this Rush Duel. Yudias explains that the effect of "Galactica Xiphos" increases the ATK of "Vanishing Heliacal Riser" by 300 for each Normal Monster he controls, bringing it to 2900 ATK, and then he Sets a card and declares battle, attacking "Prophecy Phrase" with "Vanishing Heliacal Riser". Yuhi cheers Yudias on as "Vanishing Heliacal Riser" attacks with "War To Zen! Move It Gleam!" and bisects "Prophecy Phrase" using "Galactica Xiphos", and Rovian falls to 1700 LP, gasping that Yudias countered an Equip Spell with another, chanting "Boomerang, boomerang!" and declaring Yudias will be a reminder of this boomerang day. Yuna, Ganimi and Menjaburo wave their pom poms in encouragement, Yuna declaring that even Rovian composing herself after taking damage is elegant and wonderful, though Yuhi cheekily claims he only hears the words of a sore loser, much to Yuna's irritation. Yudias ends his turn, and Yuamu watches Rovian, musing that she believed the Space Treasure to be a legend passed down solely within the Ohdo family, and she wasn't even sure aliens existed until they met Yudias. She thinks about MIK, the Alien Residential Area and Rovian's plans, knowing the answer must be hidden in the data thus far, urging herself to think.

Something emerges from a wormhole...

In space, a wormhole opens and a massive object emerges, shrouded in a formless material, which causes the Earthdamar to react on Earth. Ranran Nanahoshi is busy with paperwork when an MIK agent contacts her gasping "Capture!" Ranran asks what's wrong, but then an alarm sounds and she narrows her eyes. Down in the Alien Residential Area, Nomura is Dueling George Jersey when the aliens all begin to sense something, and Damas declares that it's here. In Asaka Mutsuba's office, Kawai bites into a pickle and complains that Zuwijo is a selfish pain for using a valuable substance like the Earthdamar residue, though Asaka isn't interested in the disgusting liquid and points out that this isn't why Kawai's here. Kawai agrees and explains that his device (an MIK space antenna he's borrowing) picked up something interesting just a little while ago.

Rovian's hat alien declares the arrival of the Great King of Terror.

Manabu gets a call from Ranran, who asks if anything abnormal is happening. Manabu explains that Yudias is Dueling Rovian, though Ranran doesn't care about that and asks if anything abnormal is happening. Manabu isn't sure what she means, but Rovian strums her guitar and declares that it's finally arrive. A voice agrees that it has and an eye opens on Rovian's hat, much to the surprise of Manabu, Yuamu, Yuhi and Yudias, Yuhi gasping that it's a hat alien like the one with the phony prophet (Nomura). The alien lifts off the rest of Rovian's hat, declaring that the Great King of Terror may have finally arrived, a name Yudias and his friends don't recognize. Ranran angrily asks Manabu what's happening and Manabu asks if something has happened at HQ, while Yuhi asks what is going on. Yuamu meanwhile glances at the Venus sisters and realizes the violet-haired boy has vanished, and she gasps and rushes off, Yuhi calling after her.

Yuamu finds London and Netzuso with the Space Treasure under UTS.

Kawai explains to Asaka that an asteroid has been observed not far from their solar system, while Ranran explains to Manabu that it is likely an artifact from an unknown civilization. Meanwhile Yuamu has entered the garage, shining a flashlight around the room and spying an open door leading to a ladder that she hasn't seen before. At the bottom, London deposits a bag as the violet-haired boy asks in shock what this is, and London declares "Lock...on!" before he comments to Netsuzo that it's quite the sight as they behold a large green structure embedded in the wall. Yuamu comments that she didn't know something like this was under their company, reciting the proverb that it's darkest under the candlestick and admitting she'd never realized that the Space Treasure was so close.

Featured Duel: Yudias Velgear vs Rovian KirishimaEdit

This Duel is conducted as a Rush Duel. During the Duel, Yudias Velgear uses Valvelgear as his Duel Disk due to having his taken by Yuna Goha. However, as Valvelgear had a thruster knocked out when Yuhi and Yuamu Ohdo were kicked out of Badloon Castle, it lacks the required mass to produce a full Duel Disk and thus only produces two Monster Zones and two Spell & Trap Zones for Yudias to Duel with.

Turn 1: Yudias
Yudias' hand contains "Heaven Gancel", "Transamu Arrive", "Shadow Sentinel", "Vortex Shooter", and "Transamu Rainac". Yudias Normal Summons "Transamu Rainac" (1600/0) and "Vortex Shooter" (1400/0). Yudias Tributes "Vortex Shooter" to Tribute Summon "Heaven Gancel" (2100/400). Yudias Sets a card.

Turn 2: Rovian
Rovian draws "Confiscation". Rovian activates the Spell Card "Confiscation", paying 1000 LP (Rovian: 4000 → 3000 LP) to look at Yudias' hand and send one card from it to the Graveyard. Yudias' hand contains "Shadow Sentinel" and Rovian sends "Shadow Sentinel" from Yudias' hand to the Graveyard. Rovian Normal Summons "Bluegrass Stealer" (1200/0), "Radrouge Mael" (700/400), and "Taiban Bluemai" (1000/1000). Rovian Sets a card. As "Taiban Bluemai" was Normal Summoned this turn, Yudias has four or less cards in his hand, and Rovian controls two non-Level 3 Psychic Type monsters, Rovian activates its effect, shuffling two monsters from Yudias' Graveyard into his Deck, then Yudias draws until he has five cards in his hand. Rovian shuffles "Vortex Shooter" and "Shadow Sentinel" from Yudias' Graveyard into his Deck, then Yudias draws "Greatest Galactica", "Silver Seyfert", "Meteorhino", "Sorapuyo", and "Transamu Craione". As Rovian has fifteen or more cards in her Deck, she activates the effect of "Radrogue Mael", making each player with no cards in their hand draw a card. Yudias has five cards in his hand and Rovian has none, so she draws "Prophecy Phrase of the Colors of the Wind". As "Bluegrass Stealer" was Normal Summoned this turn, Rovian activates its effect, sending the top card of her Deck to the Graveyard and if she sends a Psychic Type monster to the Graveyard with this effect, she can choose a Psychic Type monster she controls and treat it as two Tributes for the Tribute Summon of a WIND Psychic Type monster in Attack Position this turn. She sends "Robbarim" from the top of her Deck to the Graveyard, then chooses "Radrogue Mael". Rovian Tributes "Radrogue Mael" to Tribute Summon "Prophecy Phrase of the Colors of the Wind" (2200/0).

As the only face-up monsters Rovian controls are WIND Psychic Type monsters, she activates the effect of "Prophecy Phrase", paying 1000 LP (Rovian: 3000 → 2000 LP) to send each player's hand to the Graveyard, then inflict 200 damage to Yudias for each card sent to the Graveyard with this effect, then Rovian can reduce the ATK of all face-up monsters Yudias controls equal to the damage he took from this effect until the end of the turn. She sends "Greatest Galactica", "Silver Seyfert", "Meteorhino", "Sorapuyo", and "Transamu Craione" from Yudias' hand to the Graveyard (Yudias: 4000 → 3000 LP; "Transamu Rainac": 1600/0 → 600/0; "Heaven Gancel": 2100/400 → 1100/400). Rovian activates her Set Equip Spell Card "Flame Arms - Fretberge", equipping it to a monster she controls whose original Type is Psychic. Rovian equips "Fretberge" to Prophecy Phrase". The effect of "Fretberge" increases the ATK of the equipped monster by 400, and while the equipped monster is face-up on the field, Yudias cannot declare attacks on monsters Rovian controls that are not equipped with Equip Spell Cards ("Prophecy Phrase": 2200/0 → 2600/0). "Taiban Bluemai" attacks and destroys "Transamu Rainac" (Yudias: 3000 → 2600 LP). "Bluegrass Stealer" attacks and destroys "Heaven Gancel" (Yudias: 2600 → 2500 LP). As a Galaxy Type monster Yudias controls was destroyed by an opponent's attack or card effect and Yudias controls no other monsters, he activates his Set Trap Card "Transamu Arrive", Special Summoning a Galaxy Type Normal Monster with 1600 or more ATK from his hand or Graveyard in Attack Position. He Special Summons "Heaven Gancel" (2100/400) from his Graveyard. "Prophecy Phrase" attacks and destroys "Heaven Gancel" (Yudias: 2500 → 2000 LP).

Turn 3: Yudias
Yudias draws "Asterova", "Crack Neutron", "Vanishing Heliacal Riser", "Orbit Skater", and "Strange Attractor". Yudias Normal Summons "Orbit Skater" (800/1300) and "Crack Neutron" (0/1500). Yudias Tributes "Orbit Skater" and "Crack Neutron" to Tribute Summon "Vanishing Heliacal Riser" (2400/1500). As Yudias has two or less cards in his hand, he activates the effect of "Vanishing Heliacal Riser", shuffling a monster from his Graveyard into his Deck to increase its ATK by 200 until the end of the turn, then if there is a face-up Spell on the field, Yudias can draw a card. He shuffles "Galactica Oblivion" from his Graveyard into his Deck ("Vanishing Heliacal Riser": 2400/1500 → 2600/1500) and Rovian controls the Equip Spell Card "Fretberge", so Yudias draws "Galactica Xiphos" since "Fretberge" is face-up on the field.[Notes 1] Yudias Normal Summons "Asteroeva" (900/100). As Rovian controls a Level 7 or 8 monster, Yudias activates the Equip Spell Card "Galactica Xiphos", equipping it to a Galaxy Type monster he controls. He equips "Galactica Xiphos" to "Vanishing Heliacal Riser". The effect of "Galactica Xiphos" increases the ATK of the equipped monster by 300 for each Normal Monster Yudias controls, and Yudias controls one, "Astroeva" ("Heliacal Riser": 2600/1500 → 2900/1500). Yudias Sets a card. "Vanishing Heliacal Riser" attacks and destroys "Prophecy Phrase" (Rovian: 2000 → 1700 LP).

Duel continues in the next episode.

NotesEdit

  1. Yudias returns "Galactica Oblivion" from his Graveyard to his Deck to activate the effect of "Vanishing Heliacal Riser", but "Oblivion" was never sent to his Graveyard.
