SummaryEdit

At the Satellite Shop, Ms. Des announces the beginning of their Adult's Night event, and calls for any participants to form a line. However, she notices something odd about one of the participants, a shorter man with a long, flowing beard. Sure enough, it's young Shoma Yusa in disguise, trying to enter the event for the prime Dueling experience. Ms. Des reminds him that this event is only for Duelists over 25 years of age, and advises him to come back in a dozen or so years. Jukyu Goriki, there to support his friend in his mischief, leads him out by the shoulder, promising that they'll Duel tomorrow.

Much later, Ageha Yusa hurries through town on-foot, finally reaching the Satellite Shop. However, Des, carrying her broom, informs her that the event has already ended, and that the store is closing now. Ageha curses her boss for making her work so late that night - she had turned 25 herself recently, and had been looking forward to tonight's event. Turning to leave, she laments that her job's become so much of her life, and wonders if she'll ever get the chance to Duel again. At that moment, a voice calls out, offering to be her opponent.

Ageha is startled to find Lintaro Gob, a former classmate of hers in middle school, walking towards them. Ms. Des is surprised to find out that Ageha knows the shop manager, but Ageha is even more surprised to find that Lintaro is the manager of the shop now. Gob, for his part, thinks it's more impressive to be the girl who went to the World Championships in elementary school. Ms. Des realizes with a shock that she's been talking to "Traptrix" Ageha Yusa, a local legend amongst women Duelists. Ageha is surprised to hear she's some sort of legend, and reminds them that she did in fact lose in the preliminaries at the World Championships. Ms. Des also considers the surname "Yusa", and Lintaro confirms that she's the older sister of their energetic regular customer, Shoma Yusa. Knowing now who he's related to, Ms. Des thinks to herself that it's no wonder Shoma is such a talented Duelist.

Ageha asks if Lintaro is sure about Dueling her at closing time, but Lintaro assures her it's fine, and Ms. Des exclaims that she wants to see Ageha Duel herself. Ageha thanks them both earnestly, remarking that Lintaro is as kind as ever. This causes Lintaro to blush heavily. In truth, the real reason he ever got into the game in middle school is because of the crush he had on Ageha herself, and the desire to find some sort of way to approach her. Unfortunately, he ended up trading his love for Ageha for a love of the game himself, and his passion eventually led him to becoming the manager of this very store. But now Traptrix Ageha is here again, and he finally has the chance to Duel against the woman of his dreams.

In honor of this meeting, Lintaro removes his wristbands, which fall to the ground with a significant thunk. He then tightens his arm and chest muscles, which burst through his shirt, revealing a great mass of toned muscles. He declares that for this Duel, he will use the muscle power he developed in order to become a stronger Duelist. Ageha and Ms. Des are impressed, in their own way, though Ageha doubts that muscle mass has anything to do with being a good Duelist, and Ms. Des is in disbelief that he was wearing wrist weights this whole time.

The Duel begins, and Ageha takes the first turn, quickly setting up a field comprised of "Traptrix Sera" and four face-down cards, a dangerous board for a "Traptrix" Deck. Ms. Des notices that the Ageha's cards, and by extension their holograms on the field, are using a "Traptrix Sera"-themed card sleeve. Ageha admits that she voted for her in the recent sleeve poll, and had trouble working when she found out that she came in second to "Red-Eyes Black Dragon". Ms. Des understands the feeling, as she voted for "Tour Guide From the Underworld".

Lintaro begins his turn with "Upstart Goblin", allowing him to draw one card in exchange for Ageha gaining 1000 LP. A present to her to celebrate their meeting again after so long. Ageha thanks him, but wonders why he keeps flexing his muscles while he talks. Lintaro continues his turn, Summoning fearsome creatures as "Goblindbergh", and "Scrounging Goblin", and... just the two. Lintaro thinks to himself that he should play cautiously against so many face-downs, but years ago, he was too nervous to ever take that next step and talk to Ageha. He trained hard to not be that person again, and he won't make the same mistake again. The only way to ever reach Ageha is to take action - take that next step. And so he attacks with his "Scrounging Goblin"... who is then immediately destroyed by Ageha's array of "Hole" Traps. He changes tactics and Link Summons "Aussa the Earth Charmer, Immovable"... who is also immediately destroyed by a "Hole" Trap. However, her destruction allows him to get a "Maxx "C"" into his hand.

Ms. Des notes that Ageha started this turn with one monster and four Traps, and now, due to the "Traptrix" Deck's way of playing, she now has three monsters and three Traps - more than what she started with. Every move Lintaro makes certainly seems to be making his situation worse. Ageha begins her turn, and Lintaro uses the effect of "Maxx "C"" to try to limit Ageha's moves for the turn... and Ageha uses another "Hole" Trap to negate the effect entirely. Indeed, Ms. Des thinks to herself, Lintaro seems to be constantly digging a bigger hole for himself.

Ageha continues her turn, quickly showing what her old Deck is capable of even today. By the end, she's assembled five monsters and five Traps, and Traptrix Ageha is back in action. Lintaro thinks to himself that he's a lucky man to have been able to see this for himself, just as Ageha delivers the final blow, reducing his LP to 0. Ageha approaches Lintaro and offers a handshake, saying they should Duel again sometime. But before he can shake her hand, Ms. Des pushes him aside and exclaims that she wants to Duel her as well. But she warns Ageha that she's even better a Duelist than her manager. This excites Ageha, and she readily accepts her challenge.

Late at night, Shoma sits at home, thinking that it's unusual for Ageha to be out this late. Maybe she's on a date?

Featured Duel: Ageha Yusa vs Lintaro LintaroEdit

Turn 1: Ageha Yusa
Ageha Normal Summons "Traptrix Myrmeleo" (L4|1600/1200). Since it was Normal Summoned, she activates its effect to add a "Hole" Normal Trap from her Deck to her hand. She chooses "Network Trap Hole". She sets "Traptrix Myrmeleo" (1 non-Link "Traptrix" monster) in the Link Arrows to Link Summon "Traptrix Sera" (800|↓) into the Extra Monster Zone. Ageha Sets four cards in her Spell & Trap Zones.

Turn 2: Lintaro Lintaro
Lintaro activates "Upstart Goblin" to draw one card, in exchange for Ageha gaining 1000 LP (Ageha: 8000 → 9000 LP). He then Normal Summons "Goblindbergh" (L4|1400/0). Since it was Normal Summoned, he activates its effect to Special Summon a Level 4 or lower monster from his hand, then change "Goblindbergh" to Defense Position. He Special Summons "Scrounging Goblin" (L4|1000/2000) in Attack Position. Lintaro attacks "Traptrix Sera" with "Scrounging Goblin", but Ageha activates her Set "Trap Hole of Spikes", destroying Gob's attacking monster since it was Normal or Special Summoned this turn, then inflicting damage to Goblin equal to half his destroyed monster's original ATK (Gob: 8000 → 7500 LP). Since a Normal Trap was activated, she also activates the effect of "Traptrix Sera" to Special Summon a "Traptrix" monster from her Deck with a different name than the cards she controls. She Special Summons "Traptrix Nepenthes" (L4|800/2000) in Attack Position to the Main Monster Zone that "Traptrix Sera" points to.

Lintaro activates "Emergency Assistance" to Special Summon "Scrounging Goblin" from his Graveyard, as it was destroyed by a card effect this turn. He sets "Goblindbergh" and "Scrounging Goblin" (2 EARTH monsters) in the Link Arrows to Link Summon "Aussa the Earth Charmer, Immovable" (1850|↙ ↘). Since a Link Monster was Link Summoned, Ageha activates her Set "Break Off Trap Hole", destroying all monsters on the field that are not linked to a monster. "Aussa the Earth Charmer, Immovable" is destroyed. Lintaro activates its effect to add an EARTH monster with 1500 or less DEF from his Deck to his hand. In response, since she activated a "Hole" Normal Trap, Ageha activates the effect of "Traptrix Nepenthes" to add to her hand or Special Summon a "Traptrix" monster from her Deck. The chain resolves, and Ageha Special Summons "Traptrix Atrax" (L4|1800/1000) in Attack Position, while Lintaro adds "Maxx "C"" to his hand. Since another "Traptrix" monster activated its effect, Ageha activates the effect of "Traptrix Sera" to Set a "Hole" Normal Trap" directly from her Deck. She chooses "Time-Space Trap Hole".

Turn 3: Ageha
During her Draw Phase, Lintaro activates the effect of "Maxx "C"" in his hand, sending it to the Graveyard to allow him to draw a card every time Ageha Special Summons a monster(s) for the rest of the turn. Ageha responds by using the effect of "Traptrix Atrax" to activate "Gravedigger's Trap Hole" from her hand, negating the effect of Gob's monster effect that activated in the hand, then inflicting 2000 damage to him (Gob: 7500 → 5500 LP). Since she activated a "Hole" Normal Trap, Ageha activates the effects of first "Traptrix Nepenthes" then "Traptrix Sera", to Special Summon "Traptrix Mantis" (L4|1500/1300) and "Traptrix Dionaea" (L4|1700/1100) from her Deck, both in Attack Position. Since it was Special Summoned, Ageha activates the effect of "Traptrix Dionaea" to Set "Gravedigger's Trap Hole" from her Graveyard to her Spell & Trap Zone. Since another "Traptrix" monster activated its effect, Ageha activates the effect of "Traptrix Sera" to Set a "Hole" Normal Trap from her Deck. She chooses "Bottomless Trap Hole". She then overlays "Traptrix Nepenthes" and "Traptrix Mantis" to Xyz Summon "Traptrix Allomerus" (R4|2200/600) in Attack Position to the zone "Traptrix Sera" points to. She then activates its effect, detaching both of its materials to Special Summon a Level 4 Plant or Insect monster from her Graveyard. She Special Summons "Traptrix Mantis".

Ageha attacks Lintaro directly with "Traptrix Allomerus", "Traptrix Dionaea", and "Traptrix Atrax" (Gob: 5500 → 0 LP).
